sorry to break it you Marty, but the next best thing to an s2000 is a Z3 or lotus elan, not mx-5. And good luck getting over 400hp in an mx-5 that's still controllable let alone durable, while an s2000 can take a lot more than that thanks to forged stock internals. bottom line: you get what you pay for. This car is quite possibly the best bang-per-buck sports car of all-time.

Moog was a 100% right about his ride
The S2K was made perfect and perfectly made. (except for the washer switch hahaha)
Marty seems to hate on the car. why? An mx5 is definitely not faster than an S2K.
However, comparing it with another car on a straight-away is not the best way to go about it; )

I'll say this, I've never driven a Honda nor do I want to at the moment. I do not like have an admiration to Hondas as a whole. They make great cars that are wicked reliable, but it's just not my preferance. I'll stick to my Audi and VW over a Honda due to personal preferance.

I've now watched this video 17 times. them unicorn farts! Quick question for the guys or anyone else who has owned an ap1 s2000. How bad is the snap over steer? Ik tires play a huge role but on a stock ap1 how bad is it and around what speed does it become a problem?

Honestly, a good car is a good car. We should stop hating Hondas because of ricers and ignoring the brilliant Honda engineers. If I see a good Honda build I will acknowledge it like any other good build. The s2000 is an amazing car, end of conversation.

Hmm. I love Initial D! and so do you! Get to the VTEC origins (well sort of, different tech but almost same result) with a really nice AE86! Next project? I bet there is hard to find one cheap today though. Maybe look at the European market for a AE86.

A BMW Z3 would've been a closer comparison to an NA Mx-5. given closer production years and older z3s are cheaper and not as nice as s2ks. But then again, Moog probably knew the clown shoe z3 would've got chopped.
