Everything Ive Learned About Cars After Working for 52 Years (My Final Lesson) NorthernN54's: Like how scotty admitted bmw makes good engines. Although I think he has before? But he is right it's the little electronic flaws that screw a bmw over time. That's why mine doesnt have all that crap Idrive or whatever; ) manual aswell u wont get me within 200 feet of an auto bmw. Good trannys when they work but like 4 to 7k for a new one? No thank you.

one of the mechanics at the dealership I used to manage. I ask him to change the spark plugs in a car. I get the car back in like an hour and I'm a bit confused but alright. take the car. it's still misfiring a bit. I say to him. didn't you do the plugs. he says well only 3 I could only do 3. I'm like why. he explains. I tell him. do the other 3 plugs and so I leave him for a couple hours and come back. I find the three plugs he pulled. they're like black. almost as if. some other person did the same thing. like that car had been only getting 3 plugs changed for who knows how long lol

now hold on, there are 2 kinds of toyotas and will have different parts, VIN 1 toyota is made in the US and has lower quality then there is VIN J for japan, they are made better but will have different parts, not all the parts, but many different parts that will be some times harder or take longer to buy, i once saw a chevy Cavalier made in Australia and all it needed was 1 wheel bearing, at the time the cost was 700 dollars just to buy the part and the VIN 1 car was only 80 dollars,

Those are literally just like my solara, its from the year 2000 so its almost 20 years old and people tell me it runs and drive like a 2019 car, with a lot of working room more than the lexus but exact same engine and super reliable, still got to mske the video about it

Speaking of avoiding COMPLEXITY my dad was afraid of even buying power windows back in the Eighties. He was sure these would break, and he also feared the car would be inescapable if you drove into a lake. He was an engineer, these guys think a bit too much sometimes

I'm a UK Rac patrol, a breakdown service. Had a new patrol out with me, half my age at 25, a merc technician. He started talking about hybrid systems (merc, my God, i felt like a dinosaur. time to retire me thinks.

dodge intrepid 2004 3. 6 V 6 high output high performance package POLICE MODIFICATION 16 year repair cost 38 ( camshaft sensor ) do not try it with your overpriced low horsepower Toyota or Honda folks

I have 3 Prii. I've changed the battery modules many times. No shock hazard after the plug is pulled. Common tools. Most dependable cars I have ever had. Research the repair history.

I've owned 4 Toyotas 10 years each for 40 total years. I have never had a major reliability issue and I always got about 2/3 back on the sale price when trading them in.
