I Just Found the Best Car Ever Made (You Can Buy It for 1, 000) Dimitris T: In europe we have these cars with 1. 4 1. 6 and 1. 8vvti engines, they are the most unreliable toyota engines ever. Mine (1. 4) started burnning oil at 150000km now it has 200000km it needs 2 liters oil per 1000km, i was always using original toyota oil(5W40 synthetic, now i need 250euro every 10000km only for adding oil. I know a lot of people that they have the same problem. Also they have this crap plastic intake that it cracks on the bottom which is not visible thus it sucks all the dust and ruins the engine.

Hi Scotty and you-all. I have a 1996 Corolla 5 speed that i bought 10 yrs ago for 1600 and it was in near mint condition. It has 237356 miles on it and I've been driving it HARD. The only major things i've been replacing is the usual brakes and exhaust system(once every 10 yrs) Everything on it works except the trip meter and of course, the seat belt retractor(you have to hand feed it back into the car body) I used that Meguiar ceramic wax on it and it looks like new. Sell this car and buy one of these new Quick Dead Junkers? No way. I've been driving nothing but Corollas for 20 yrs. If you find something that works, stick with it

I have the same 2004 Toyota corolla LE. I bought it with just 116, 500 miles from a lady that was trading that car for a new one. The car is one owner no accidents and she did ever single maintenance by the book and I have all the maintenance records 6 months before she trade it she put over 1300 into it for new tires and the 115, 000 last maintenance. The car I may say is in super conditions just a few little scratches. The interior is perfect. Engine has no code and the only thing that went bad was the starter and for 140 a got a new one. The buy of my life.

(CNN)If you drive a Toyota, you might want to read on. Toyota is recalling nearly 700, 000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles in the US because of issues with the fuel pumps. The pumps can stop operating, the company said, leading to engine failure. If a vehicle stall occurs while driving at higher speeds, this could increase the risk of a crash, the company said. Toyota says it's investigating the issue. When it comes up with a solution, it'll notify owners by mail by mid-March.

Absolutely, the 4cyl Toyota's and 4cyl Honda civics are undeniable best bang for your buck cars. We had this Toyota Corolla for 11 years until it finally went. But mind you, we live by the beach in Jersey so years of cold starts, lines rusted and leaked, but never did anything except tune ups and trans line replaced. And 20 bucks in the tank lasted us a full week I miss that car. Lol

Scotty I have a Toyota Yaris 1. 5 aut transmission, it has a check engine(catalic converter when I San it) light on and I feel the car shaking a little while I drive it around and up to 60 km per hour you can see the acceleration on the dash going up and down a little, spark plugs are on good shape what it could be? Thx alot you are the best mechanic ever

Low mileage clean ones that year are like 3500 where I live. Sometimes more. Considered one. But at 4500 for one with like 80k? I just bought a 4 yr old XB with more features and safety and only 32k for 10, 400. My air bags are good for many years(way more of them too, its like new, more power, shocks/struts like new. I am confident it was the best choice.

In California your lucky if you get it for 4, 000 in that condition. Ive seen 1, 500 Corolla in that shape only in the tow yards repoed from drunks and other reasons of course and not worth taking out by the owners for whatever reason. Dont have the money or its not worth taking out of the yard. Anyway I wish I could get one for 1 grand.
