Here\'s Why You Should Buy This Cheap Nissan artpizza: Underhood looks alot like my 2011 Nissan Cube. I have changed the CVT fluid every 30 thousand miles, and changed the oil every 3750 miles with top grade synthetic oil, and at 145, 000 miles it has been almost problemless(MAF sensor only repair) and runs and looks great. Going for 300k(fingers crossed)

OMG, Scotty has finally reviewed my car: . I knew that he always hated Nissans but I was always wondering what he was thinking about this Versa with a 4-speed automatic tranny. There are videos showing this car with 300k miles still going strong with an original engine and transmission. From my experience the worst part in this car is it's muffler. The original one lasted only 4 years. Never buy cheap muffler for this car (you'll have to replace it every 2 years if you have salt on the roads. I ended up buying a stainless steel muffler (was only 50 more expensive) and got a lifetime warranty on it (written on the paper. A couple more week points in it: a central lock module in the driver's door which will stop opening the hatch door sooner or later. A rear window defroster may also die after 7-10 years of car use. Other than that, only oil changes, brakes and spark plugs every 100k miles. Would a perfect cheap commuter car/students car.

I get it's an economic car, but they're garbage Mine creaked, popped and cracked all the time. The trans popped and slipped. And than came the day I was crashed into, that car crumbled up like a bag of chips. Instantly totaled out. I hate Nissan because of that car. I own a 17 qx30 now, but that's because Nissan/Infiniti had nothing to do with the powertrain. That's all Mercedes. It's a rebadged GLA.

Hay Scotty I drove one of those in New Zealand last year touring the South Island, it was a small car, but was good on gas mileage Gas is expensive there, it was a blast to drive on the left side of the road - though I sometimes hit the wipers stick instead of the turn signal LOL Have a good weekend - always enjoy your videos - thank you for being so informative and entertaining.

I bought a Yaris new in 2007, and it has 170K miles on it now. I haven't had to do anything to it except change the clutch on the manual transmission, it still gets 41 mpg, and starts immedietely. I wouldn't waste my time gambling on any other brand like Nissan, Toyota makes an almost perfect car, and its priced similar to the others, why take a chance?

Scotty. you need to do some research before advising folks to buy what has to be one of the worst pieces of junk that Nissan has ever had the gull to foist on the American public. And that trash does have a CVT which is an engineering disaster. Do you ever look online about people's complaints. Sorry guys, this guy don't know beans about toilet paper.

in the next weeks supposedly nissan is launching the new gen wow fleet of vehicles, after about 5 years of stagnation, Brazil is full of Kicks though, because of the flooding, they still drive after floods take them downstream (assuming you can find yours after the floods wash it off a few miles downstream)

The only cheap Nissan it is good for basic transportation and has modding potential is the Nissan 200SX. Gets great MPG, reliable and that engine really screams when you smash the gas pedal. The newer Sentra and Versa are a load of crap. The CVT transmissions blow up, and the engines just fall apart.

People got to understand that the Corolla for Toyota and the Civic for Honda were the Flag ships of the companies and fat people complained I need a bigger car so Toyota in Honda built a bigger car. Now the first Generations of the Accord and Camry where problematic but now they're fairly decent.

Nissan cars are good buys IF you get one with a manual transmission. My Sentra lasted well past 300K with just normal maintenance. My brother's 280Z had over 300K when it was stolen. And his truck was almost at 300K when he sold it. Just do the maintenance and stay away from the CVT.
