This device will turn an old car into a new car Guest: Thanks for the memories. The first car I drove was my mom's 1970 Ford Maverick which didn't come with a radio. My dad and I installed a Studebaker AM radio into the under-dash tray. I'm not sure anymore if it used tubes, but it actually had the speaker built in. On my own car I installed. well basically hung in a 1966-1968 Caddy AM/FM stereo radio with Wonder Bar and separate power amp that originally fit above the glove box in the Caddy. I still have the Caddy Stereo. Some day I'll build it into a cabinet. it's way too big to mount into a car anymore. Thanks for a happy memory on my birthday.

Good information. Now take some from me: go see a dermatologist about those precancerous lesion 2/3 of the way up between your eyebrows and your hairline. I was a medic so continue to look after the obvious symptoms of vets and I'm another near-redheaded white boy. My head, neck, and arms are all scars from letting those lesions turn into basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas. If nothing else, you should know it costs a whole lot less to have your lesions frosted off with liquid nitrogen than to have them biopsied then cut out. Please do it.

SCOTTY! I may be looking at purchasing a right hand drive postal vehicle in the near future. To legally import a car into the United States must be 25 years old. I have pretty much been looking at many of the old Toyotas! Kind of pricey for an old car. nothing like purchasing a new Chrysler Fiat Jeep! Found many 4x4 and all-wheel drive Toyota Imports. What are your thoughts? THANKS!

I can't help but laugh, Scotty. We used to do some pretty crazy stuff to our cars in the 70's to get good sound. House speakers in the back seat, turntables under the dash. Don't forget 8-tracks! When CD's came out, I bought a cassette adapter to run my CD Walkman into the cassette player in my car. Worked really well, actually! This little device looks pretty cool!

I use the tape adapter just because I don't like dealing with wireless stuff And if your tape deck works properly I think it sounds better than the fm transmitter I tried (except for when my car decides to spit it out lol) But it was a older one from when iPods still had the big 30 pin connector lol I bet they have gotten way better lol I might try one

Its the next step up from VVT technology and its called CVVD (Continuously Variable Valve Duration. My dad just bought one and i think its awesome technology! Love the vids! Mark

The only problem with these are if you don't pick an unused station or your close to someone else using the same station you pick up what there listing to lol has happened to me but they have been around for the last 10 years but now very cheap. Keep the great content coming Scotty stay safe from your fans in the UK

I got something similar to that awhile back, my only real problem with them is that tend to break after 9 months to a year of heavy use. To be fair I lived In El paso so the inside of my car got really hot and I suspect thats why it might have eventually broke but hey for 23 bucks thats not bad at all.

The fm transmitter scotty is showing you will not work on a car with an aerial mounted on the roof because the aerial lead going to the radio from the roof is screened. For radios with roof aerials you will need an fm interface kit. Scotty most likely has a windscreen aerial fitted.
