Here s why you don t have to pay your car loan anymore Quicks: Scotty Kilmer I love your videos, but I do have to Disagree with you on dealers trying to rip customers off by paying less for there trade in and only dropping the retail value of there vehicles by 1% during this pandemic. I own a small used car dealership and we buy trade-ins from the bigger franchise Dealership at auction. A lot of the smaller Independent dealerships such as myself are struggling right now we haven t got any help form the government and customers are not buying so we are not buying and that directly effect the Wholesale value of a vehicle. Now as far as the vehicles that are being sold right now most on them were purchased pre-pandemic which means they were purchased at a higher price there is only but so much profit in a vehicle after you buy it and recondition it for market. I know dealerships especially used dealerships get a bad rep and some of us deserve it. But some such as myself are just Trying to serve our community and take care of our families. A lot of the smaller dealers I know are going out of business And if something doesn t change soon we might be in the same boat. Keep up the great videos your loyal fan Quick.

Scotty. I'm an arbitrary Inspector and mech/Tech. I work for a company out of Kc Missouri. Here in Florida, They are National. There Platform was online sales. way before COVID 19. We were busy. Now my job has exploded. I walk into a dealership we have established accounts with. I do all mgr ford. toyota. Chevrolet Mitsubishi. buik lincoln. They hand me a bucket of keys. I work alone and inspect vehicles for online sales. when I'm done. I leave the keys back in the buckets with The Gm. You can sit on your couch and buy any vehicle you want. They have wholesale used and newer vehicles. with so many people staying home. Online auto sales are exploding. I inspected 11 vehicles Friday. 8 were sold within 2 days.

hey scotty, i have a leased 2017 nossan rogue with 18, 000 miles. My lease is almost over on october 2020 and everytime i take it in for service (since its free for me) they tell me i have an aftermarket air filter. I put a k&n drop in air filter and not the cone filter. They refuse to service anything to do with the air intake, maf, since it has an aftermarket air intake. Whats the difference from buying an autozone air filter to the k&n. Id rather pay more and clean the k&n than replacing filter everytime. They consider it an aftermarket filter. But doesn't and autozone filter considered the same? Aftermarket

Scotty I respect and agree with a lot of your views, but when you bash the car retail industry because wholesale prices allegedly went down 10%, that also means they have to offer less for your trade-in. Also if they don't sell that retail car, then they take a bigger loss at the auction. Nobody is there to reimburse for that. What I own the car for does not matter what I sell it for. when people ask what I own a car for I tell them I own it for free because my grandma gave it to me, but I am selling it for market value. then I ask if they will pay more if I owned it for more than the sale price.

Wait, you mean credit companies that loaned money to people who aren't responsible enough to pay a car loan are going bankrupt because their customers aren't paying their car loan? Truth is stranger than reality. In fact, I fell like that exact same thing happened not to long ago. except was it. banks and. maybe. mortgages? I dunno. I wouldn't worry about it. Our loving federal government will just steal money from our children and give it to the credit companies. Why do we care, we won't be around to see the damage! We're all dead in the long run anyway.

Wells Fargo auto loan told me that they could stop my payment for a few months BUT they were still going to charge me the interest of those months I ve stop making payments on and then when I start making payments, my first payment it s going to be the interest of the months I didn t pay. HOWS THAT FOR FLEXIBLE HUH? While ford completely froze payments and interest on my aunts vehicle. Shame on wellsfargo

Hey Scotty, I stopped running the K&N filter when my MAF clogged up. That K&N Oil will end up on the fine wires inside the MAF if you don't follow K&N's instructions. So SHOOT ME, I didn't read those STEEENKING instructions! Instead I replaced the MAF and went back to a regular air filter. Moral of the story: Read the directions, and LET the Filter DRAIN & DRY.

The overpricing of new cars will kill the car & truck industry. The finance is being built into the vehicle price eg amortized. Same goes for property, interest may have tanked but house prices have climbed so the finance industry makes the same profit on each mortgage. Never buy new vehicles, buy 2nd hand and keep them.

I drive by a used car lot that says No Credit? No problem and all sorts of things, like nobody gets refused, so I'm thinking you just pay too much and when you get tired of making the payments you just return the car or something and buy the same sort of thing back at a higher price at some other similar lot or something.
