Heres Why You Can Get This Car Dirt Cheap Darrell Hart: I kind of disagree with Scotty about the Camaro, sort of. If that guy can afford a little more expensive one then there might be an option out there. This goes for Mustangs too. There are people buy those cars and won't drive them in the rain. The garage keep them, barely drive them on Sundays, and put very few miles on them. They don't modify them and they certainly don't beat on them. Now, these cars don't necessarily come up for sale very often. The best time to catch them is maybe when a new model comes out. Like for instance when the ZL1, 1LE, or when the 6th Gen came out. They might trade up for that. If you can catch one at that point then you might find a really pristine one with low miles that's been taken care of. But of course that car is going to sell for more than market average. I've seen 3rd Gen IROC Camaros with less than 20, 000 miles on them that have been garage kept and babied. Of course there's the issues with a car that has too few miles on it. Did it sit and rot? But do some digging and find one that's been driven but just not driven hard or too much. Again, cars that are second vehicles that are garage kept and Sunday driven.

For the person who wants a convertible Lexus IS, I owned a 2010 model (IS250 C) for 5 years, bought it with only 46, 000 miles on it and it was so great, no problems at all, just the basics, oil and brake change, tires, and key fob battery. The only downside is the rattling and noise that comes from the roof top whenever youre in a bad road. If the noise doesnt bother you, its a great car specially when the top is down: )Note that the back seat can barely fit two young children, Im paraplegic and I used it to store my wheelchair, works fine. Hope this helps.

I love muscle cars. And willing and have the disposable income to do the repairs and upgrades. I got a 2013 mustang. There's a bunch of stuff I disagree with Scotty on but that person buying the Camaro as a first car I agree DON'T DO IT My Mustang I drive hard and race it. So it gets run harder than most This year alone I got better than 15, 000 in repairs and upgrades to it. It's a never ending battle. Would I buy my car from me? HELL NO Would I buy my car in 2022 from me? Lmfao yeah right. DON'T DO IT

people are incredibly brand obsessed/dismissive in the US. toyota or honda could have sold this fiat. the exact same car and people would have a very different opinion about it, also after many years of ownership. needless to say japanese brands gets a good rep about them very much for free. rep that was founded decades ago. even consumer reports go up to about 18 years back to rank reliability scores for cars sold now. just ludicrous imo

What is your opinion on a 2015 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD mid-size SUV and a 2016 Honda Odyssey SE minivan? They are both eight-passenger vehicles. I was looking on the internet this afternoon, from a Honda dealer in Surrey, BC, Canada and they both have under 100, 000 kilometres. I will be planning to get one of them for my first vehicle, when I get my driver's license in the near future.

Hi Scotty, im having an issue with a93 SC400 Lexus. 2nd car. Its not charging. I installed a new battery and alternator, along with the factory fuse 120amp. I removed the alternator and had it rechecked at the autoparts. I then measured the continuity from multiple points in wiring from battery all the way back to the alternator. Dont know if maybe its a ecu issue, not activating it?

I don't see why people still ask Scotty what he thinks about about a certain car. If it's not Honda or Toyota he says they're junk All cars are junk any more and as they age they all will need to be fixed. The key is how you take care of it. Personally I don't mind fixing them and I like to drive hard. I own a 05 GMC and 06 Kia. Both run great and have had them for years

I don't get it Scotty? You say to change the oil every 5, 000 city miles and I get that but you say up to 7, 000 or 8, 000 highway miles. Yet previously you said that 5, 000 city miles is equal to 50, 000 highway miles. It seems to me that if you drive MOSTLY highway miles then you should be able to go further than 7, 000 or 8, 000 miles between changes.

8: 00. scotty is not telling the whole story here. Yes, iridium plugs will be fine for a long time. But I've changed plugs after 100k miles and experienced massive gains in acceleration and mileage. Had this experience in both my escape and Cherokee. Maybe 10-15% gains. Plugs are cheap, just change them. Just cause it is working does not mean it is optimal.
