The Best Used Luxury Cars to Buy Justin Bobby: A friend of mine owns a 2000 lincoln continental, the first time I drove it I was surprised first by how slow it was, and second by how great the gas mileage was for a V8. Then he was blown away by how quick and how smooth riding my 2000 honda accord V6 was. We hopped on the highway and withing a handful of seconds or less I popped vtec and was up to speed. He says to me hey you know you can drive a little bit faster if you want I replied were already going 80mph he looked over at the speedometer and just said wow, it felt like we were only moving about 55-65 mph. The biggest surprise out of all though was my surprise with the fact that his Ford V8 lincoln got roughly comparable gas mileage to my Honda V6.

One of the best mechanics Ive had the pleasure of knowing whos main job was going out to fix lorries or in the states semis, he always said never buy a BMW all you are buying is an over complicated car and a money pit to repair, he actually reminds me of scotty very honest and willing to help others with his knowledge, over 20 years I bought my cars off him and every one of them gave me over 180, 000 miles and 2 gave me over200, 000 miles and his philosophy was the same as scottys make sure they are serviced regularly and when buying make sure they have a full service history

Why would you buy an Acura at all? Theyre nowhere near as good a value as a Honda. The dealership experience is nationally quite negative. The cars are fussily complicated compared to Hondas, lack rear seat legroom and headroom, arent as clean a design as Hondas, and are inordinately expensive. Also, theyre in the aggregate NOT as reliable as Hondas. While I rarely agree with CU about automobiles, theyre right about Acura. The deal is with a used Honda, despite their relative reliability.

Get a Buick. Its the only American brand in the top ten quality rank, where it edges out Acura. Price is a lot lower than Acura or any used Japanese car, including poor quality Infinity, while lasting much longer than most Japanese brands. Some people will say, it only lasts that long because old people take care of their cars and hardly drive. Thats true. But end result is the same - used Buicks end up in better shape than Acuras used as street racers by teenagers with rich parents.

But but. Scotty. The German cars are so much nicer inside and out and handle better and are much faster than a Lexus or Acura. Says a purchaser of a 2019 Acura TLX A Spec that got 12000 below MSRP because everybody wants s Bimmer or Audi. I bought a German car and lived at the dealership because even during the warrant period the car had issues and those parts that were replaced twice under the warranty period broke down again when the warranty was out.

O and the interior is so comfortoble and calsick luxury, just beautifull not like your three ugly boring cars.

The Lincoln tends to have Misfires in the rainfall. Smdh. Friend told me about it but I forgot until I got one which was inexpensive to buy, headache when repairing. Plus if you get a misfire you wont pass the Smog test. Never any Ford again for me. I dont know anything about the other ones but that one Lincoln, when it doesnt rain, oh man such a smooth ride. Loved it but electrical misfire sucked.

Love my 2008 BMW 328i (E90) Bought it new, its been paid off for many years now and runs GREAT I do however keep up with the routine maintenance. That being said its still a blast to drive and Ive had really no problems with it. I get bored with cars after 2-3 years but not this one - its been over 11 years and I still love it. Couldnt bear to give it up when I bought a second vehicle.

Until recently(7-9 years) the European cars, especially the German one, have the reputation to be reliable. They got greedy, governments didnt helped at all(each year giving ridiculous laws to manufacturers) and they start to exploit that reputation and not in the good way. The good think is, the Asian manufacturers theyve start to find the missing puzzles from theyre development

You got a better deal than me for an ES300. We paid the same but mine had 120, 000 miles so I put new water pump and timing belt at 140k. Also mine had been resprayed electric blue and it was georgous and didnt totally suck like all the other Lexus colors. I have it for sale now for 500 less than I paid for it 4 years ago but you got me thinking about keeping it now,
