A Serious Warning to All Ford Owners (Bring Your Car to the Dealership Right Now) Steven: Theres a catch tho to be eligible for a buy back. I do not own the car anymore and I only had the transmission problem only 1 time and the cars last mileage is 36000 for 2015 ford fiesta. It doesnt work if you don't meet the requirements as I was told on the phone.
They should be forced to buy regardless.

What ever happened with all of those transmission problems Toyota was having with those Corolla hatchbacks? How about the ongoing 8 speed transmission problems in the Camry and the new Rav 4? What about the issue with the new Rav 4 where you're not able to fill up your gas tank all the way? What about the ongoing frame rot/rust issues with previous generations of the Toyota Tacoma? Further still, what about the ongoing wide spread water pump issue across most of Toyota's lineup such as the Tundra etc? Takata airbags, unintended accelerations issues. and many more. To be fair, Toyota has had it's fair share of massive recalls. Nobody is building decent vehicles anymore in my opinion.

Dead animals. Speaking of, I was driving along with my buddy at work yesterday, he was driving his bucket/line truck, I was in passenger seat. He forgot he had dual wheels in the rear and swerved to miss a BLOATED FRESHLY DEAD RACCOON that was all puffed up from steam baking it's insides in the hot sun. Well, he misjudged and one of the rear outside wheels caught this bloated critter and he EXPLODED on the underside of the truck. Well, That was the MOST HORRID thing I have EVER smelled in my 35 years of existence! Worst part was, it smeared all up underneath the truck. That smell is NOT going away anytime SOON. FML LOL

Honda Canada actually came through good on their faulty rear trailing arm to unibody junction point. Many got bought out and not just at an accurate fair market value rate but also for an inconvenience/ goodwill amount also.
We had two crvs: a 2007 with about 120, 000kms and a 2010 with over 200, 00kms. The 2007 got bought out two years ago for 10, 375 Canadian. In the condition it was in, it wasn't worth 5000 excluding the buy back issue.

I own a 2014 focus and noticed it doesn't exactly shift very well. I bought it from a used car dealership. Do I have to take it back to that particular dealership or should I go to Ford?
And what exactly should I tell them when I get there? Fix my transmission? Or take it back entirely? I bought it in early December if that matters.
Help me YT community. I only have till the 25th

My experience with Fords has mostly been positive. They've had their misses but I think that at least in the last 10 years or so they've been better than GM and much better than Dodge/Chrysler. I will avoid that 3. 5/3. 7 V-6 because of the water pump. I just don't think that was a good design and getting it replaced is almost impossible for most people to do themselves.

Can i apply for this if i bought my 2013 Fiesta used? I am having transmission problems that started popping last week and bought it in NY State back in June 2019 so I got it with no warranty and no knowledge if it was ever fixed. Can i still apply for the buyback?

My first ever car was a 2013 Ford Focus and got back half the value back from Ford via lemon law. Decided to go to Mazda. Best switch ever. Now, I'm hesitate to go to American cars.
The Focus was a good looking car, but the transmission was doo-doo

Ford should fix these cars for free!
And replace the bad components with better made parts.
Also i have a 2018 chevy malibu, I had to take it in to the dealership to get the ecm reprogrammed.
Ever since I have had no problems with my malibu.
