Doing This Will Make Your Transmission Last Twice as Long #2 Jpaul: Differential fluid changes should be easily accomplished by anyone with minimal mechanical ability. These new transmissions can be an absolute pain to service and I do not recommend you try to change the fluid on one before doing research on your specific transmission and how to change the fluid correctly.

Dear Scotty, I use Mobil 1 Extended 5-20W oil and Mobil 1 Extended life Oil filter. The oil is supposed to be good for 15, 000 miles but I change it every 10, 000 miles. The Dodge 5. 7 Ram 1500 does not use any oil between oil changes. What would you recommend for the oil change interval for the Extended Mobil 1 oil, the 15, 000 recommended or my 10, 000 or 5, 000. The oil is only about 2. 00 more for a 5 quart jug for the extended over the regular Mobil 1 oil so it is not price. My truck also uses 7 quarts of oil per change so I buy two 5 quart jugs use 1. 5 and use the other. 5 next oil change.

All GDI engine should until very recently (2019-present) have intake valve buildup and issues associated with the GDI. So ya got that horribly wrong and singled out a massive company that could now sue you. Also, fuel injectors DO need cleaned ESPECIALLY people with flex-fuel vehicles. Ethanol (regular gas 87-93 octane is 10% ethanol) or E85 is minimum 70% ethanol. Ethanol does one thing really well. hold water. Because of this cars that run on E85, as well as regular cars DO require injector cleaning depending on the type of fuel used and mileage on the injectors.

You can't really trust people these days. Scotty, you said it. Corruption has infiltrated our society from top to bottom. This is what happened to Rome and it fell in a DAY. By subcontracting vigilance into oblivion, the written principles that guided this once great nation are preparing to become our epitaph. When nearly every organization from the single proprietor on up the chain to mega corporations are always looking what they can do TO instead of FOR their fellow man. That nation has earned what's coming for it.

we should staart a medical service and hospital just for mechanics. Imagine the look on their faces when the Doctor comes out to greet them with a smile. HI! No dont tell us what is wrong we will check we are experts. You are going to need. No you cant go till you pay.
Can we get a democratic vote for such an establishment?
Oh and mechanics cannot go to any other place otherwise it is negligence by other medical practitioners for bypassing the laws. and we shut them down.

Guess what Scotty? My 2010 Jaguar XF has almost 110k miles on it and it runs like a clock. not every great car has to be a freaking Toyota. also, 100k miles isn't even close to the end of the car's life. it's the first time you need to get things addressed. so what? why do you say almost 100k miles on it. like it's this big freaking deal? why are you doing this to my psyche Scotty?

is this real that you dont have to rotate your tires? my mind is totally blown by this and i find it hard to believe. i have never heard this before in my life. i thought if you dont rotate them the front would wear out significantly faster than the rear, wouldn't you want to rotate them for even wear and replace them all at once as the tread was worn?

Hey Scotty, I have a 2010 toyota corolla automatic approximately 255, 000 miles after the mechanic change the alternator. When the car is cold Crank it up I hear an screech after I turn the key to start the car. It only last for 5-10 seconds. I even change the belt still does it. Can I continue to drive it and don't worry about it.

I've owned at least 8 to 10 front wheel drive cars every single one of them the front tires wore out more.
There's more weight on front of the vehicle, the tires are turning left to right, the road usually slopes to one side(water drainage) there's no way it's possible for all 4 tires to wear evenly, no way!

There is a TPS reset button under the dash above the accelerator pedal that you can press for 3 seconds on a 2010. Changing the 3 plugs and coils on the rear of that v-6 is nothing like the 3 front ones and can involve either removing the intake or wipers and shroud above the fire wall.
