This Makes Me Not Want to Buy a Toyota Recovering New Yorker: I remember in the 1980s a certain Toyota dealership (I wont say which one) in Florida was convicted of providing prostitutes to a Toyota distributor to get more popular and more favorably equipped cars. Those old Toyota slogans finally made sense Get your hands on one Youll never let go You asked for it You got it Oh what a feeling

As a former MOPAR owner, I don't remember any memorable slogans for Plymouth. (Dodge and Chrysler got the snappy slogans, as I recall) I also used to read Auto magazines and ran across the Drive it like you hate it slogan for a Swedish car company. Really? You just plunked down a large stack of currency to buy a car and you're supposed to drive it like a teen with a tantrum? Plymouth is out to win you over popped during the 1960's Muscle Car years for the Plymouth Belvedere, Fury, GTX, Barracuda line.

Thanks for the Video. I think the Chevrolet. Like A Rock was supposed to imply Solidly Built. However that ship has sure sailed. now like a rock probably belongs at the bottom of a pond somewhere. And I think the Heartbeat Of America was supposed to imply as Dinah Shore commercials used to say See The USA In Your Chevrolet that America could be traveled in a Reliable Chevrolet. Well we know that was true at some point in time, but probably not anymore.

Kinda wanting a Saturn rant video. Fugly weird cars, mostly far away from the customer's taste, including underpowered. On the other hand, they might have been a tiny bit less crappy in quality then a regular Chevy back in the 90's. The Toyota one you can kinda interpret as you can actually keep going places, since it isn't a self-destructing junk like a GM/Ford/Chrysler/VW

Scotty, you are riding your entire collection of laughing horses today. Something to be proud of, I'd say. To think, how many billions of dollars that were spent all these decades to just sellbent sheet metal that rusted before your eyes. The sad part is, they went back and bought thosebuckets again? LOL Now, get back on that horse and really turn it loose.

I have an 09 Nissan Maxima with 180, 000 miles on it. Since about 150, 000 I've experienced the whole car shake when on the expressway. But it doesn't do it all the time. I've had two sets of new tires put on it aswell as all aligned and balanced.

My favourite car slogan here in the UK was used in the mid 1990's by Nissan to describe their Almera. A Ford Focus size hatchback. The slogan was - The Car They Don't Want You To Drive Still makes me chuckle now.

Well, I guess if they could build a road to the moon, a Toyota is the one who will get there first, because them Hilux and Land Cruisers can go anywhere. Pity that the US don't have them.
