The silence is deafening on the Asia argento thing. Notice how quiet all of the actresses are being when it comes to this. Meanwhile all the guys getting accused got nonstop tweets 24/7. Now it's we don't know the evidence, be gentle that didn't stop them when men were getting accused. They basically supported the notion of people getting their lives ruined based on an accusation with no proof years after the fact. Ironically unlike all the other ones this one actually had evidence. Even if the biased, hypocritical people used the whole he was 17, age of consent in most countries is 16+ it still doesn't matter. She knew him when he was 7 years old. She literally played his mom on screen. Is it normal behavior to bone a person when they get older that you knew since they were a 7 year old child? That's predatory behavior. Funny enough Hwood is accused of being rampant with pedos then they suddenly go quiet on this chick and defend guys making pedo jokes. Hmmm.

Why is it that most of the reporting on Argento not more directly and consistently using words like accused statutory rape, grooming and power imbalance. If the MeToo movement is really supposed to be able corruption of power, then this is a clear example. She meet him at 7 when she directed and played his mother. Photos of them together when he's grown up being so lovely-dovely have captions where she says she loves her son. So many layers of abuse of power and grooming. And she has the balls to say she didn't know his age? She acted with him. she didn't just meet him randomly and wasn't aware of his possible age. She obviously didn't care enough to either look it up or take caution. There isn't as much witch-hunt going on, and anyone who dismisses that this might be due to double standards in gender is just in denial. She doesn't have to be as bad as Weinstein for her to still be charged as a criminal.

Regarding the Argento story: She can use not knowing he was a minor and that he was the aggressor as a valid defence (if they are true, but she should still be prosecuted for breaking the law. If the claims are true they might lessen her punishment, but that's all. There's been several cases in the US about young men being prosecuted for sleeping with someone they thought were 18, but turned out to be 17. Not knowing the person's age isn't a new issue in these kinds of cases, and she shouldn't be treated any different. In terms of whether the age of consent really should be 18, that's a whole different conversation and doesn't change the fact that she broke the law. As someone from Europe, where the age of consent often is 15 or 16, I think it's a valid discussion to have - but it shouldn't affect her case.

So, I'm not making any judgements on who is telling the truth about the whole payoff thing. Though, calling it a 'campaign contribution' is a bit of a stretch. Getting dental work done is also to the benefit of a campaign because it improves the candidate's image, but it's _mostly_ to the individual's benefit and they can't make the campaign pay for it. But Cohen, who has pleaded (pled) guilty to all these crimes and received a reduction in sentence specifically in exchange for him testifying about Trump, has the unmitigated gall to say he wouldn't accept a pardon because the person who would supposedly issue it is corrupt? It sure doesn't sound to me like he has any problem with corruption.

Sick of all the media bias, even when they claim to be unbiased. For the story on Molly, enter any other country in the world illegally, your an illegal immagrant. In America, your undocumented. Striving to impeach a sitting president, has historically caused mass chaos and stock crashes. And, its not like Hillary will then he president. Why is trump paying off women still more important than what she did to Bermie Sanders? You know real election tampering. For the most part all media has become sheep, and repeat garbage according to their bias. This is why people are turning it off. More of the same.

as far as the paying off two women goes. If it is seen as a crime then it's a crime plain and simple. I have seen a lot of sources saying it might not be a crime though, seems like a really up in the air question. I don't know how this would have affected the election, I just know I have talked to a lot of people that said they don't care it wouldn't have changed their votes. Now the ridiculous statement that keeps getting thrown around that this is the worst scandal in presidential history makes no since how can you call this the worst scandal when we have Watergate in our history?

As far as the actress sleeping with the younger kid. I heard that she had known him since he was 7 after they worked together in a film where he played her son. So she did know his age. I also heard that she gave him alcohol which is also illegal. I get that a seventeen-year-old is practically an 18 year old but it's still creepy for a 30 something year old woman to do that. I say the same thing about a 30 something year old man sleeping with the teenager. It's just weird and pathetic. I'm only 27 and I would feel like a creep trying to do that

Im so tired of hearing, time and time again, more incriminating information about Trump. We know hes a crook, we know hes a fraud, we know hes a bad and dangerous person. however we the people, did in fact elect him into office as our President; as our national representative. Let him serve his time, and then hope to God we have substantial and deserving candidates in the next election, as well as substantial and sane people voting. No court of law, no justice system, no body is going to persecute Donald Trump. So what is the point?

Argento's story seems very fishy, I don't buy it at all. She seems guilty. She is also being treated VERY differently to how a male would be treated. If this was a guy, he'd be dead to everyone the second he was accused. But because she's a woman, everyone's acting like we need to tip-toe around her and oh, he probably did something, be gentle on her, wait for more details. Like nah, if we're gonna vilify a male rapist like Harvey, we're gonna do the same to female rapist like Argento.
