Debby Ryan Insatiable Scandal, South Africa Farmer Controversy, Jeff Sessions vs Trump & More Georg Steyn: I'm from SA, I want to make one point crystal clear, there is an immense difference between a murder in a township (albeit tragic) and a murder on a farm, one is in an informal place where crime is rampant and there is little to no control, the other happens after (usually a group) of people have gone through extreme effort to bypass security which could include: Alarms, razor wiring, electric fencing, guard dogs, local security groups, CCTV, infrared cameras and even heat signature cameras. Then the victims are tortured beyond imagination in the most evil and sadistic means and often nothing gets stolen. Does this sound like normal crime to you? Everybody should take a step back and ask yourself why all the western countries(mainly Caucasian populations) are divided, there are organizations that have been working to topple the old power structures for decades now. Part of the strategy was to turn the White Man into the enemy and use the sheepish far left as a weapon, trace social science's origins and their funding to see which organizations. What we are now seeing in my home country is not just an uncorrelated racists systematic impoverishment by a majority, but part of a global movement to shift power, that is why you have counter fake news at every turn, it is being funded by powerful entities. You just have to go look at who funded the election campaigns of extremists parties like the BLF, EFF and even the ANC. It's no wonder that ignorant left leaning people believe that farm murders (and other atrocities in SA) are fake or justified because you have literal armies of keyboard SJW assholes spreading disinformation that all comes from the shadow entities behind the scenes. I feel sorry for them because in their hearts they feel they are doing good in the world, they are just so hopelessly brainwashed.

Phil, why didn't you show the video of the South African President saying that we are going to cut the throats of whiteness and calling on his followers to raid white owned farms? Or of the leftist media hypocritical response to President Trump's tweet saying, for example, Newsweek claiming the President was repeating white supremists conspiracy theories, despite Newsweek itself having a story just a few mobths ago about the ongoing attacks and murders of white farmers in South Africa. Was Newsweek supporting a white supremist conspiracy theory when they ran the story? This is why they are called fake news, and sadly while you didn't go after the President like they did, but you did completely ignore the left and the media's blantant twisting of facts for political gain, so your report us isn't fake news, but very biased and disingenuous. Not sure how I missed this last week, but hopefully people still see this, and things like this, and stories selected is why I've said repeatedly that Phil regular strays very far into biased reporting. Note he covered the story, but left out a major uproar the tweet caused among the left because it makes them look bad, but he's not going to show the President being correct and the left wrongly going on attack mode against him despite them knowing the issue is real. Come on Phil, I would like to think you are better than this, but maybe I'm wrong, I just don't want to imagine that after evverything you are just another partisan leftist hack.

As a South African myself I can say that Land Expropriation is a very sensitive issue. There are several highly logical debates about this topic within our own country, but personally I cannot condone expropriation without just compensation. There are numerous instances of land being given to government as a sign of goodwill, however in most cases such as this the land is poorly managed if at all and ultimately underutilized or impoverished compared to prior use by white farmers. A lack of skills and a decreasing quality of education, especially in rural communities lead to a decline in management of farm land, as opposed to the knowledge passed over generations such as in already existing white farming communities where farms are able to succeed and thrive. The real issue that needs to be tackled first to give South Africans a little piece of mind about this whole issue, is bridging that knowledge gap between existing farming communities and rural communities to which land will be expropriated. Second would be to provide alternative options for white farming communities who will effectively be losing all they have ever known and forced to make a way for themselves in a whole different job market. As a country with an already backwards economy, seizing farm lands to be managed in such a way as has been demonstrated will have catastrophic affects on our economy, while those in power stay afloat and line their pockets with even more tax increases.

My primary issue with Netflix is the quality has gone down. You could rely on if nothing else a Netflix show like an HBO series that even if you didn't personally like this show's premise or the creator or an actor in that it was at least well made in this way. These days it's getting to the point where it's a consistent where xyz issue with it and it's just poorly executed to add insult to injury. I will say Netflix really needs to work on diversity, I say this after reading that another movie with an Asian lead apparently only had one because the creator of the story turned down all these other production companies that wanted to whitewash the lead characters. WHY? Why would you whitewash in 2018, its wrong and if that's not a consideration it can be a poison pill to your production. It's like a story has to be about a real life PoC; even then, or set in or about a community of color; still not a guarantee, for it to have chance of keeping leads of color and even then it had to fight to be made and probably will only get one season. the way of that is even more problematic and often directly related to by producers still suggest whitewashing.

Africa Check is George Soros funded. This is the same George Soros who funded the ANC terrorist activities pre 1994. the same George Soros who funds Africa Check - the website that is trying to discredit anyone speaking out about the ongoing murders, rapes and assaults on the White people of South Africa by Blacks. 'Africa Check' is the latest attack dog by Liberals against those trying to report the truth. 'Africa Check' is funded exclusively by Liberal sources - mostly those who supported the ANC pre-1994 - as well as by Open Society Foundation for South Africa. Open Society Foundation for South Africa is a George Soros funded organisation and nothing ends well when Soros has his finger in the pie. He has bank-rolled Obama, Hillary and has set up an extensive network of websites in America which he uses to attack anyone he regards as a threat against his minions BLM, Antifa etc. He has manipulated world markets by hedging bets against currencies, making billions and then using that dirty money in his fight against the West. Soro's is a dirty pig. So, just knowing he's funding 'Africa Check' should be setting alarm bells off.

I'm quite strongly in opposition to this whole argument of - your ancestors did X, so you should be punished. By that same logic, huge portions of the native British population could just be exiled or robbed of their possessions because they have: Scandinavian, Norman or German ancestory. My family came over with William the conqueror, but should all our possessions be taken away from us because our ancestors weren't Scots, or English? Probably not. I have family members who fought for Germany in the world wars, should their kids have their land taken off them because they live in Britain now? Probably not. Should Muslim populations in places like Indonesia or India be expelled because their ancestors were probably conquerors and pillagers be expelled? Again - probably not. In all honesty, I'm surprised the U. N. hasn't intervened, because in my eyes - this is a blatant violation of these peoples' rights. You have a right to shelter, a right to fair legal treatment, and these things just aren't being respected in South Africa.

Oh yall shush with this Grabbing private property rubbish So when White Europeans came to South Africa and forcefully took the arable land from Black South Africans that was alright? Yall do realize that black South Africans were pushed back on dry land that couldnt produce shit and left to starve and financial precariousness just because the white settlers wanted the land? You think being murdered and having your property taken away from you is bad? Try thinking about what the Africans felt about it Yall realize that some of those Africans have a deep sentimental attachment to the land because their ancestors are buried there and their culture ask for them to go and celebrate on their ancestors grave and some black South Africans have to sneak back on white people farm to go and pay their respect to their ancestors. A land that the white African claim to have more sentimental value too because his grand father owned it. F yall with your double standard

So, not sure people remember apartheid or how it worked, and that it was a thing until 90s. In 1951 around 3mi blacks where forcibly removed from urban centers and confined to 13% of the country's land. If you where black, you couldn't own land or buy land. If you had even an acre of land, since 1910 it didn't belong to you anymore, so, during 90 years, you, your parents and grandparents where stolen from their land, their dignity, their liberty, treated like dogs for being black, and many in these comments are asking themselves why such animosity towards white people? Rly? It's not like they where screwed over by white ppl 500 years ago - and they were too -, it's like 30 years ago, and such violent past can't be easily forgotten. Surely a wrong won't correct another but don't act like it's out of nowhere that this is happening or even that's completely unfair.

The South Africa story hard to say the least, but I lean towards taking the land. Fine you're 3, 4, 5 generations from the people who originally stole the land but it was still stolen, why should the descendants of thieves be allowed to continue reaping the benefits while the descendants of those who had their lands stolen suffer? The killings are wrong but they seem to be a result of slow legal action and people are getting fed up, if that weren't the case I doubt we'd be seeing a 50% drop in farm murders AFTER actions have started to be taken. If this were some kind of government back genocide the moves to simply take land would have triggered MORE killings, kind like how Trump's election caused a surge in hate crimes, but it didn't the solution is to make this land redistribution faster.

Before whites came to South Africa there were no farm lands. Much of the land was purchased by the early Dutch colonizers from the native Khoisan people that originally inhabited the area. The land was too arid for agriculture until the Dutch settlers irrigated the land in order to make it viable for farming. The Bantus who now run the country came down later from central Africa conquering, slaughtering and enslaving the other tribes like the Khoisan bushmen. The Dutch were the only ones who were able to stop the Bantus. If land should be given back then it should be given to the Khoisan people not to the Bantus. Also after the end of apartheid a policy was put in place to give back land to blacks but many blacks instead chose to receive money for the worth of the land rather than farm it.
