When it comes to Kylie Jenner I do believe she is a Self Made Billionaire, according to Forbes their definition of Self Made is someone who did not inherit a company or money to get to where they are. Yes she used her families money to start but she did not inherit her company or the billion dollars her company has now made her worth. She used her families name and the money they had as a pedestal to ensure she got ahead in life and got her company up and running but she did it by herself putting in her hard work and effort. To say she isnt a self made billionaire is to take her talent with make up, hard work and effort and say its worthless. If thats the case everyone in the world would never be Self Made anything because if you make music on a laptop whoever bought you your first computer made you, if you create a car company whoever showed you how to fix a car made you, being self made is not based off what you used to get there its based off how you maintained and bettered yourself and continued to strive and work hard to achieve a goal which Kylie did by becoming a Self Made Billionaire off of her Make up company

Success is an ambiguous term, but we all want it. I hope that you all reach the amount of success that you desire. I also hope that when you reach that level of success that people don't tell your children that they don't deserve or they haven't earned their success just because you made it first. There are people who think they deserve, because they've always had silver spoon in hand. There are also people from humble beginnings who feel like they deserve because they've never had. You only deserve what you are willing to work for. No matter what walk of life you come from you can earn your success. I for one try not to judge what others are worth. I don't know their full story and I'm not around them 24/7 to see the amount of work they put in or the sacrifices they make. I also believe that no matter where and who you come from you always have people in your life to thank for helping you get to your success. So, is anyone really self-made?

Self made is when you come from a normal situation and rise to greatness. Being born with a platform and a million dollar golden parachute in case of failure is not self made Did she ever worry about getting a loan to launch her business? Did she ever have to worry about turning a profit? Losing her home? Ruining her credit score? What about how to advertise her product? Finding her customer base? Those are things self made people face and overccome. If you are born into a situation where none of those things are a concern cause if it all turns to shit you are still a multi millionaire, plus when you add in a built in brand, customer base, and advertising machine you insult those who are actually self made. People who worked hard with no guarantee of success or safety in the event of failure are the people who should be on that list, not an heiress to millions who was born with 10 million followers.

First off, how many people in social media have gotten permission from the NFL. It is almost that you can make a case that if the NFL is ignoring the use of their copyright content on a very large scale, how can they go after one person or company with any backbone as they have clearly elected not to file against the social media biggest to remove their NFL copyright content that many people all over the web are using. Or all the small people, which seem that no matter what the say about the use and rebroadcast without permission would fall to public domain by lack of action on their part and imply that it ok to use and rebroadcast without permission. This would basically be true for any and all major sport venues. And it really comes down to bean counting, they get free ad when the masses rebroadcast their content all over the web.

And ALL of those opportunities existed for Kylie Jenner because she is another cog in the Kardashian wheel. I did have a platform is 95% of the battle. No one was going to show up at your doorstep if you'd been Kylie Jenner, random girl from Eastern Kentucky, making your way in the world. I don't BEGRUDGE her that good fortune. I think we would probably all - or at least all of us who have been poor - agree that Kylie's situation would be preferable to being a random. So, great for you, Kylie Congratulations on winning the genetic lottery. I'm not even criticizing your work ethic. Perhaps you're incredibly hard working and dedicated, but I don't think you have any idea what it's like for everyday folks just trying to make it in the world and what it was like for YOU just trying to make your way in the world.

A better example of a self-made rich person would be Jeffree Star. His family wasnt famous or even remotely well off. He worked hard to create his own buzz and fame back in myspace, after which he managed to market this (relatively small) fame into a platform for promotion of his self-created makeup business. At the very least, Kylie got start up funds to begin a business from her familys wealth/fame (versus Jeffrees self-created individual fame) and was born into the connections she needed to get the ball rolling straight to Hollywood clients. As most rich people today say: its not about what you know, but about who you know. Kylie is so rich (in money, fame and connections) from home, growing up in it, that she has zero ability to realise how rich she actually was to begin with.

An unpopular opinion from a EU citizen - I totally support the purposed new regulations. The biggest critique of it is: youtube is too big to obey the already existing copyright laws. So I say - LlET YOUTUBE DIEYou know what happens when youtube dies? 4 mote smaller video platforms spring up that can actually implement sensible copyright rules from the ground up. Pure capitalism. Crying that youtube would suffer is not relay defending the small youtuber, but defending the monopoly that that has grown beyond what it can reasonably manage.

Kylie saying her parents made her pay for her own stuff makes so little sense. Its not like her parents made her get a retail job at 15 for spending money. She had millions from the reality show, which took zero effort on her part. She literally just lived her life and the cameras recorded and the money just went into her account. And all that built up her popularity which was a huge built in customer base. Im sure she worked hard on the brand but she couldve sold literal shit in a jar and wouldve made many millions.

The whole situation with the EUCD shows how governments have forgotten they're supposed to represent the will of the people, and instead give more importance to corporations and their personal profit. The whole world is saying they don't want those ambiguous articles to pass, it's insanely clear what the great majority thinks about the whole situation, and yet, things keep moving forward even though all of this should have been scrapped or reworked months ago.
