Aliens Among Us? This Is Why SCIENTISTS Think Its Actually Possible. Ramen Quest: I got into a heated argument about this once with a friend who stated that if intelligent life exists out there it's already destroyed itself therefore we must be alone in the universe until we follow the same inevitable fate. Because if this fact were not true we would be contacted already. But I do counter that if all of the history of the universe were to be condensed into one year, the entire existence of all of human history would take up less than a few fractions of a second. And if the universe is somewhat endless, and constantly expanding, we don't know where we stand in the universe compared to some other intelligent life, we measure intelligence based on US as the bar whereas life could exist all around, in many forms, intelligent life too, either ones that have space travel, light speed travel, warp travel, and ones that don't. Finding Our Earth specifically would be like finding a single grain of sand in the entire solar systems worth of all the sand, presuming someone was even bothering to look and not content with what they have. And even then maybe we have been visited, we just don't know it because it happened before human history, or during a time of human history where we we saw these life forms as gods, our ability to go into space, to really look at the stars and fully understand what we're looking at spans less than 100 years, (Just 50 years this year since we got to the moon, and we've not made it out any further than that) It is quite possible that we've gotten signals, or have been getting signals and messages that we don't understand, or haven't reached us yet, or just we haven't developed the technology to read or respond to yet.

I would refer people away from NASA and direct them to CERN. It is the largest machine on Earth and seeks to probe the fundamental structure of the universe. Scientists there seek to open dimensions to other universes in order to send things through our dimension into another one, or also to perhaps accept something coming from another dimension into ours. This is what CERN scientists have claimed openly to be doing in various publications and documentaries, but not widespread coverage. There have been reports in valid news outlets and publications that scientists have experienced otherworldly beings and apparitions that have been present during experiments. Yet the international and American news media largely ignore CERN endeavors and findings. I would love for DeFranco to look into CERN on a real level, but I would tremendously caution him in doing so. The elite CERN scientists go to great lengths to make sure that the facility does not make the news. The only time it has ever made the news is superficial and very controlled. They normally say something at the surface, explaining that it exists and is making another particle round or something. For instance, they participated in the documentary The God Particle. CERN is the largest scientific facility/endeavor on planet earth. But it would never want to be or reported as such in mass media. CERN does not want the public aware of what truly goes on there. Period. Or else the global media would be openly reporting on its activities.

Eh, this piece seems to give the idea more credence than it deserves. There are very good reasons why the vast majority of scientists don't think we have been visited by aliens. And Dr. Loeb was out of line. Is it possible that Oumuamua was a probe from intelligent aliens? Yes. it's also possible that god exists. There are a ton of other things that are theoretically possible. Stating them as significant probabilities without significant evidence to support that conclusion is not appropriate in a scientific setting. Everything we've learned scientifically indicates that we're not special and the size of the universe strongly implies there is other intelligent life. However, everything we know about physics seems to indicate that interstellar travel is difficult and doing so without us noticing even more difficult and unlikely. But, back to this video. You cherry picked a few examples of scientists who think we may be overlooking evidence of aliens. But, even among those examples from credible scientific sources, the closest thing they propose to them being among us is having sent a probe that briefly passed through our solar system. That's hardly among us. And while they express frustration about the reluctance to acknowledge aliens, I didn't see any of them proposing practical scientific ways to assess that possibility beyond what is already being done.

Have you seen the movie titled Independence Day? It depicts an alien culture with sophisticated technology suited for interstellar travel attacking the far less advanced human race on the Earth's surface. Likewise, the movies The War of the Worlds and Battlefield Earth both follow a similar plot, where advanced alien lifeforms attack a mostly harmless civilization of human beings. Would it be shocking to you if on another planet very distant from our own, a film is made wherein humans attack the aliens with highly advanced spears, guns, and knives? Suppose now that these same aliens have witnessed a species from afar that have mastered nuclear weapons before they have even touched upon magnetic resonance imaging. An alien lifeform that has witnessed a planet of serial killers, warmongers, child molesters, genocides, mass graves and the Kardashians as a driving force behind cultural values, will not easily be found by the likes of us. Do you, personally, go sticking your head into a dark hole filled with hissing and roaring things that are already eating and killing each other? No, no you don't, and neither would they. I feel for the first fools that land on this planet in peace. They will be sent home in chunks and pieces.

The issue is, admitting something is possible is NOT the same as stating it is probable. It's possible we're living in The Matrix. It's possible that everything we experience is an illusion created by our minds, and that nothing we experience is real. It's possible that there is/isn't a God. Are those things possible? Yes. Probable? We don't know. But when we have other possible explanations that can be explained by what we've observed to be the consistent rules of the universe, it's probable that Omuamua was NOT an alien intelligent life form. And with the sheer volume of fabricated accounts, be it for attention, or from sheer delusion, drown any real evidence that might be out there. It's healthy to be skeptical and to focus on more likely explanations for these events (which would apply to the VAST majority, if not all of them. That said, to rule out something entirely due to the stigma of cults and fanatics is also ignorant. tl; dr- The paper was accurate to state that aliens could be a possible explanation: but not a probable one. The issue with the paper, and why most reasonable scientists that take issue with it, is that it provides fuel to validate and falsely legitimize hoaxes and conspiracies.

This is really a debate over the idea that this phrase exemplifies: When you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras. Is it possible for intelligent interstellar life to exist? Of course it's possible Hell, statistically speaking, there are so many opportunities for a life-supporting planets in our galaxy just by the sheer quantity of solar systems. However, it's also statistically improbable for anything to reach us within the short window of human observation and recordings--short window referring to the time and space of our observable universe. We exist in such a tiny fraction of time, and our recording technology has existed within an even smaller fraction of time. It's not that scientists are absolutely saying there is no chance of intelligent extraterrestrial life. We're just saying that the scenario is so rare and unlikely of being recorded by us that we need to exhaust all other methods of investigation and research first before we take that big leap into that less than a millionth of a percent.

No, I don't think it is surprising that scientists (prominent is disputed) believe that alien life exists and has visited us, nor is it unusual that they have shared their opinion on the matter. I actually think they are more encouraged to share them these days. There are more people that truly believe that aliens exist than ever before. It is talked about openly in conversation, and thanks to Ancient Aliens, these people have evidence. In my opinion, I think it is very possible but i wait for the evidence because we have no idea what they will look like or even if they can interact with us. So, to me their existence is both hypothetical and entertainment. I would like to point out the cultural change from casual believer to full blown UFOlogist (more of a dogmatic version of the belief. I once had the discussion of whether or not aliens had planted the seed of civilization in neolithic human and when I expressed my opinion, the guy became visibly angry at my naivete. He was a fricken University Professor.

Wow. Hard hitting journalism, here. The Hill stories have been scrutinized skeptically by many many people and have found more holes, and problems with the stories than there could be truth. As for Oumaemae, it was a space rock. with a strange shape and orbit. It's possible that some phenomenon we don't understand was accelerating it, but it wasn't alien. It was accelerating predictably and at such a speed that would be more like a broken spacecraft not a visiting one. To suggest differently is dishonest. No, there should not be more resources used to investigate alien visitors. Use resources to look for potentially habitable worlds outside our solar system, or microbes on the moons of Jupiter. Look at Roswell now. It's a town that markets aliens and is its only sustaining resource. It's a lucrative market and, more than most things, it grabs headlines and people's attention. Just suggesting aliens gets you on the front page of every national newspaper and tv network.

Any human that believes we are the only ones in this massive universe is super arrogant. Mathematically the existence of alien intelligent life is more probable than not considering the billions of stars, galaxies, and other solar systems. The NASA scientist also mentions that just because we have our definition of life- doesn't mean that all life in the universe must meet the same criteria we have defined here on Earth. Considering all the diverse and various conditions of planetary bodies and stars in our universe- life would be just as diverse and therefore may not adhere to our preconceived definition of life. Scientist that adhere to staunch beliefs that we are alone and ridicule others for seeing the opposite possibilities are just as absurd as the religious communities that they themselves claim not to share a mindset with. it's like they create their own religion called science and everything else is blasphemy to be ridiculed and shut out.

bulshite. didnt find a single thing on real ufos in 2 decades of internet, always 100% crackheads. it seems it pays enough to just talk about aliens, even if they dont exist. You can find documentaries, donation campaigns, dvds, buy conference tickets, etc, etc, at the end of the day did you see one alien? none. did you hear one? none, and your money is gone. There is always someone who knows someone who has been adbucted and wrote a book, and is doing conferences, and you should go and watch it, and you should purchase his book, and you should order his dvd, and you should buy his tshirt, and you should ubcribe to his website, and you should send some donation to this paypal address, because the government is trying to suppress them and bla bla bla. They all use the same kind of bulshitery scheme. Its a business. Like the flat earth revived from the dead to make money on youtube.
