So again when has anyone going to speak out for those people who medically need pain medication. How all thes legal battles have adversely affected those who have legitimate and proven pain issue for which these medications are their only avenue of relief. My wife is in the 1 percentile of people who normal pain medications cannot be used. Due to proven allergies and adverse effects to her. Quality of life for those who need this these medications. When is someone going to speak out for those people who can no longer get their needed medications do to government regulations that are not only restrictive and damaging to people in need. Medications prices jumped through the ceiling because of the scheduling changes made by the government. Now a medication used to reduce restless leg syndrome went from under 10 to between 250 and 300. Normal everyday people being treated like drug addicts. Its ridiculous how my wife has been treated.

Philip DeFranco I live in the next town over from Newark, Bloomfield. And these areas are super tiny. You can pass through to the next town in 5 min. We get our water pumped from the same source traveling right though Newark. We are also affected. We get the notices and we are using the filters. As for this VMA story. I live 5 minutes away from this and did not hear a peep. No celebs speaking. Protests must have lasted only a couple hrs as this made no impact among the community at large. It would seem that all the outrage is online and while numbers of responses may look large they account for 0 action in the real world. This all stems form an infrastructure problem that has gone ignored far too long.

You know what I'd love to hear ANYONE talk about in regards to the opioid crisis? The fact that legitimate patients with very real ongoing pain can no longer get effective treatment. I actually had my doctor admit to me that there is nothing he can do for me. I also know a rheumatologist who flat out said they got a notice in February to stop all active prescriptions for pain medication. If you don't know, that specialty treats patients that will always have severe ongoing pain for the rest of their lives. I understand the worry about getting people addicted, but I don't understand why that's a problem when you'll be on them for the rest of your life anyway.

I remember an early video on how Phil mentioned the VMA ratings getting low and their BTS controversy, just checked this year's numbers and they got about 4. 9 million views. On Tuesday a kpop group called X1 debuted and had a live showcon streamed online getting 4. 8million views. To put this in perspective, it was X1 very first time performing as a group while BTS has a massive fandom from being in the industry for over 6 years. Guess VMA really needed those kpop numbers, they shouldn't have done Korean artists so dirty.

Am I the only one that thinks it was kind of fair enough for Stephens to call the other guy out for calling him names. Calling people names is insulting, so fair enough when some one reacts angrily in response, thin skinned or not. If I had random people on twitter insulting me I would probably get annoyed at them. I will say I am not sure about the reporting him to his company, that comes off as a bit too much and from the sounds of it hypocritical. But the reply itself seems completely fair enough.

Newark is basically my sister town. (Im from Kearny NJ. Ive always noticed that at my grandparents house in Newark that they always had a water filter for their sink but the never drank the water. I found out that the water was very contaminated and it pisses me off. My Great Grandparents were constantly sick and now knowing the water was not safe for them makes me severely disappointed in my sister town. Cant believe they held the VMAs there instead of helping those who live there.

Twitter is the worst place to be on social media. People will say anything and post anything regardless. It is his right to complain about being called a bedbug and his email wasn't bad at all, but he shouldn't have sent it to Karp's superior Then again Karp made things worse when he tweeted the email knowing damn well that the internett is going to tear the man apart and that this would go viral making it worse for Stephens. The whole thing was just wrong.
