I'm good with 6-8 being the youngest age for arrest. I'm not good with them being prosecuted but young kids can be violent. There was a kid on doctor Phil fairly recently that was likely around 10 who drowned a puppy and wanted to murder a classmate for saying oof. Kids can be mentally ill at a surprisingly young age and parents can be negligent with keeping weapons locked up. I have severe OCD. The youngest age I remember weird illogical fears (OCD is an anxiety disorder) was at about age 6, so mental illness can show up that young. While OCD isn't often a violent type of disorder but other things are and fear can cause some people to do somethings that may be violent. There's also bullying where kid beat up other kids. Locking a kid that young up is not good but scaring them a little bit lets them know that certain behaviors will not be tolerated. Handcuffs are a bit much for a 6 year old non-resistive kid, though. I'm also not defending this particular case as I don't know enough and he should have called his superior. Also parents should be called first and at no point should they be talked to without the parents present. It should also have to be a serious offense.

I think when it comes to organ donors people dont think about the after math the family of the deceased deals with. My family lost a loved one and decided he was the kind of person who would want this so we said yes and went through the process. But still over 2 years later my family member is still the unspoken hero and it doesnt help my family feel much peace from our loss. We did not have the best experience at the hospital it happened at and part of my family feels bad because you develop a small amount of resentment for the people who profited off of another death. We dont regret giving the drs the okay to harvest my family members organ and tissue to save and enhance peoples lives. But it doesnt make the day by day struggle any easier knowing apart of your family is still alive somewhere when your loved one isnt. I am a registered organ donor myself and if the time comes I hope my family would do the same with me. But it wont change the internal struggle they will go through.

Don't blame the policeman. He was trying his best to take the girl out of the situation in a calm manner. Remember, The staff called him He was calm and considerate, maybe the zip ties were a bit far, but then, just maybe, that little girl will think twice before kicking staff in the shins. As far as policemen go, this guy seems quite decent. The girls parents should have been called to collect her. The staff work with kids and should recognize a full blown tantrum, not really needing police involvement. Don't they have a nurse or councilor at the school? But who knows, maybe the staff tried to contact the parents, remember we only ever get a part of the truth in these videos. But some poor guy who served his community in a hard ass job is being ruined over this. This world is so upside down. :/

The 6 y/o got what she deserved. No matter what your issue is, kicking and punching people is assault. Too many kids and families make up excuses well this is what's wrong with them, let my baby go all the way up til their 18 y/o and going to prison. Some kids are just out of control and need to be scared into learning a lesson for their own good. The officer should be reinstated. Don't blame your bad parenting and not correcting your child at home on police or racism or anything else. It's your bad parenting that leads kids to be doing stuff like this, then commiting crimes as teenagers because momma said it ain't my fault and she won't do anything to me. Time to realize the problem is shotty parenting and not reprimanding her if she thinks kicking/punching people is ok.

That 6 year old experienced real and lifelong trauma by being arrested by that ignorant officer. I hope she is receiving actual help from a qualified professional to undo this damage caused by him (if it were up to me he would be paying the bill for that. No child that young needs to experience that level of callous and extreme disciplinary action. Even if said child did indeed have some psychological issue that made dealing with them difficult in the moment, by traumatizing that child you are only exacerbating the core issue and almost guaranteeing that they will continue have difficulty in the future. This should be criminal and yes there needs to be a minimum age for arrest globally that is no younger than 10 (prob more like 14.

maybe they should start screening for symptoms at more airports instead of saying that the likelyhood of spreading in x country is low. low is still possible and instead of letting things have the opportunity to get out of hand it should be handled, dealt with and cases isolated as soon as possible. even if the death rate is only 2% with most cases just being like a flu it doesn't mean that countries and airports should just sit on their asses and wait. it makes me really frustrated and geez it's easy for me to sit and complain safe in my home far removed from everything but you'd think, if they keep saying it could become a pandemic, that more effort would be put into trying to stop the spread.

I was always in favour of organ donation, but I have to admit, as a Brit, I am not as happy about this change as I thought I'd be. I have a preexisting condition which means I am not suitable to donate blood, and there is no certainty I wouldn't pass on the disability I have to somebody if my body parts were used in organ donation, but I have no idea. That's the real risk here. People could be given dodgy parts by deceased people who had diseases that they didn't realise they could pass on, or their loved ones/the medics on hand when they die didn't know they had. This could throw up a lot of unforseen problems. I don't want my last act on this earth be to make 8-10 other people sick.

Please please please, sign up to be an organ donor (you can even be a living donor, if you're feeling extra heroic) You can do it on line, or when you renew your drivers license. As someone who's had kidney failure since age 16, had a transplant for 20+ years, and waiting 9 years now, for a 2nd, I can't tell you all how much this means to us. especially those waiting for organs (hearts, lungs, who don't have dialysis to see them through. This lists are so long, and so many people die waiting. I'm so happy for those Brits on waiting-list limbo, who'll be able to take advantage of the new system. We need to go to opt-out in the US, too

I am a member of the DOD border protection initiative, (you know the one everyone was up in arms over) but I can attest the Corona Virus is a very real inevitability for the southern US. The illegal immigration (and I mean mean masses of people attempting and to a degree succeeding every day and night is a tremendous risk, especially since my group has already caught Chinese nationals and numerous others who have bunked with them on their way to the border. This is not a cry for alarm or attempt to push a political agenda but there is a clear and present threat that people are just ignoring for one reason or another.
