The parents of the 5 year old should not receive consequence. Trust and believe that when my three-year-old daughter is old enough, I will have her watch my five-month-old son so that we don t have to budget for a nanny anymore. Obviously teenagers can be a bit oblivious, and of course this could ve been a much more disastrous situation, but I do not believe the parents deserve backlash for it. I think the police should put the matter into the parents hands to make sure the teenager understands her responsibilities when watching her little brother, and if she s not ready for that responsibility, then the parents should hire a babysitter. If an accident occurred, or anyone was injured, then I would say it s a different situation entirely. But. Thankfully, that didn t happen. Sorry this is so long, but also, I live in Michigan and unfortunately, this is not the first time people have become violent (not killing anyone, but violent) over wearing a face mask. My husband is a manager at a grocery store in our area, and a woman had to be physically removed from the store because she was throwing punches, spitting at people, cursing everyone with some dark witch shit, and trying to evade the police when they arrived. Purely because she was asked to wear a mask inside the store. It s truly ridiculous, and it makes me ashamed to say I live in Michigan right now.

On the topic of the 5 year old driving and if the parents should be punished its hard to say. Since no one got hurt a part of me thinks just a slap on the wrist and verbal warning. But then I think what if something did happen? Not only was the child at risk but so were plenty of people on the road with him, should the worse happen he and plenty of others could have died. But the parents were pretty reasonable in the situation after all they didn't leave the child home alone. Not to mention who the hell expects their child to grab the keys, get in the car and drive off to buy a 3 lamborghini? Its not like a gun, or knife, or other serious dangerous things that should always be placed out of kids reach. At the very least, whoever the teen they left in charge, should probably be fired.

This news of the PH occured yesterday. I am so happy that people would be finding out about this and that you reported on it so quickly. Although Im an ardent supporter of ABS-CBN, Ive been watching your show since 2015 every morning since I've entered college. Thank you on behalf of your Filipino supporters and viewers. It's been a shitshow in the PH and I hope any form of accountability to people outside the country will hold the government and Duterte a little more cautious and ultimately, be for the Filipinos and not themselves. Kudos. As to my opinion, tbh this has happened before when we had a dictator called Ferdinand Marcos took over. ABS-CBN got shut down as well when he declared Martial law. We believe another People Power will rise soon. At least honestly, I hope so.

The Parents of Lambo boy should not be punished or held responsible for him getting away. They trusted him in the care of his older sibling. No one was hurt, thank god. The Teenager should get grounded - HARD and the 5 year old needs a good hard lesson in right/wrong. If it weren't for CV19, both kids would have been safe in school. I mean, if anything those parents are getting punished enough having those two children. A teen that can't be trusted and a 5 year old who's smart enough to get onto the freeway. And the story with the mask shooting, OMFG! This is disgusting, it's senseless and yes, I fully agree that all three of those people need to be made examples of on a National level. There is no reason for this, no excuse for this.

These people that refuse to wear mask or anything on their face are complete idiots. I m not saying anyone should be arrested because cops have already been harassing poc for not wearing mask or for not social distancing. These people want America to collapse just like the gop. The gop made it their top priority to protect Wall Street with our money as stimulus and they pushed a bill that prevents employees from suing employers for when essential workers and other workers working during this time if they get the corona virus or if let go they are scared of returning to work during this pandemic. The gop is making things worse for everyday people ands the main reason why these idiots are protesting and being defiant.

The story of the 5 year old just reinforces my belief that theyve made driving a car Way Too easy to do. In a new car model, you turn it on, put it in drive and put your foot down on the gas. Literally a five year old could do it. Not only does that allow for stuff like this to happen, but, now this is my own experience, it also make you a way sloppier driver. You're so disengaged from driving that you lose focus. You see people driving with their other foot on the dashboard, etc. All kind of dangerous. Might be me overreacting but thats the reason ill probably never get an automatic fancy car, its just too easy to the point of there being dangerous outcomes as a result (granted those are typically self inflicted.

About ABS-CBN, they had lots of issues, they're biased about one regime. About the shoot to kill, it was taken out of context. And the so called extra judicial killings are up played by America, the UN, and opposing sides. Look at America, it has lots of killing but the UN doesn't do anything 'cause they can't touch them. Even the Vice President is shit, Duterte has done more than any President in the Philippines could. Filipino's need discipline and he's giving it to them, have you seen how people drive there? The traffic? Corruption? Lots has changed since he was put in office, he doesn't have filter too. You just can't judge the President if all you read is all the negatives and lies about him.

I don't think they're should be any charges laid against the parents. We need to start having compassion for people instead of just always throwing the book at the. 2 parents working to make ends meet in this pandemic situation potentially putting themselves at risk and their kids at risk. Can they trust leaving their kids elsewhere? Schools are closed. Parents still need to work. This pandemic is further breaking down already estranged communities and driving poverty. I'm glad that child made it put okay. Knowing how tragic this could have been and suffering the embarrassment should be punishment enough. Me and my 2 older brothers were left home alone starting when my oldest brother turned 13.

Idk how the government of the Philippines works, but calling the lower house stacked with Duterte supporters sounds to me like he unjustly or illegally placed them there when in fact they were elected by the people. The Trump administration comparison you made is a bit different because administration implies executive branch policy, not congress. A better example would be if the House of Representatives voted for the FCC to revoke licenses to certain news stations (which I m not sure if that s even within the scope of the legislature.
