I also have a congenital nevus, but it's on my back and very dark, almost black. It grows black hair. I don't shave it or anything. I also have lots of moles all over, most the size of a pencil eraser or slightly larger. Birthmarks are nothing to be ashamed of---they're natural tattoos. The only thing is to keep an eye on them and have them checked at least yearly for cancer, especially if you spend a bit of time in the sun. I love the gift God gave me, and I wear a lot of backless tops to show it off. (Jan Griffiths.

In the thumbnail I only noticed her obesity, didn't even see her birthmark. So I guess her intention is successful? I'm not sure what her point is exactly. I've eaten myself to obesity before too and never really felt special about eating too much or wanted to be a model because of it, but whatever. To each their own.

Good for her. I have a large birthmark on my back and it goes to the top of my arm I absolutely hate and was bullied for it so this is making it seem more normal it's nice to see others that have marks like me. Mine arnt as large but it was big enough to notice. I wish I was confident I cover up alot in the summer: (

I honestly don-t get why anyone would say mean stuff about her birthmark. I think it is beautiful and I wish I had it even though people might bully me but I don-t care. I am proud of her for ignoring people-s mean comments about her skin it-s just truly fascinating!

I really don-t care, but nothing about being obese is healthy, and admirable. As a society, we already have an obesity problem and supporting or embracing is just comical to me especially when we so much dangers and health problems that are associated with obesity.

I feel bad because even though some birthmarks are inoffensive or even neat, ones like hers are gross. It's the hairiness of it--there's hair growing all on her birthmark like fur.

Cool person and birthmark. I went through things when I was younger because my eyes are two different colors. Thank God we can grow and appreciate every part of ourselves.
