TRINA, 31, is a full time dancer from London and founder of the Curve Catwalk, a dance school for people that are all shapes and sizes. However, Trina has not always felt the confidence to dance and this started from the age of 11 when she started to see her body change. She became so self conscious and gave up all forms of sports and active hobbies, especially her love for dance. She didn t pick any of this up again until the age of 25 where she had a pivotal moment after a loss in the family. Trina said that made me realise life is short, life is short to not be doing the things you love and the things you enjoy. She started to go to dance classes again and remembered the joy she had dancing, however still faced challenges. Going back to dance it absolutely wasn t what I thought it was going to be with people saying things like oh you can dance but you re quite big to dance, I m really shocked that you can actually move. As a result she started up Curve Catwalk, a dance class in order to bring together a community of people that love to dance no matter who you are and what you look like. Her journey since then has elevated and she is now a public figure for plus size women. She has danced for the likes of Lizzo and modelled for Sainsburys, Nike and many more brands all because she decided to let go of her fear of being too big to dance

I would love to find something like this in the states. I ve struggled with my body for most of my life and while I ve made progress in my acceptance journey, it s been riddled with strides and major setbacks.
I ve learned to dress myself by how it makes me feel and it s been doing wonders for my confidence. But if I catch a glimpse in a mirror, I have to get out of whatever I m wearing.
There is one place I got every year where for a week I feel all the way myself, comfortable in anything, even if only a towel on the way back from the showers. The women all lift each other up and the men are pretty respectful. Anyone who s not usually gets put in their place quickly.

It's one thing if someone is on a prescribed medication which causes weight gain. It's another thing altogether to promote preventable obesity. They're fat, not curvy. Cartilage will wear down sooner due to excess weight on the joints. Dancing at that weight is stressful on the joints. So, go ahead and flaunt your fatness - you'll be paying for it when you become a senior citizen.

Why not ask junkie who shoot themselves with heroin to share their beautiful, needle-positive image with us?
What's the difference? Far less people die every year of heroin overdose than they do of health problems directly related to obesity. You are incredibly irresponsible in showcasing these unhealthy individuals.

This is a ridiculous scenario. First of all this body positivity mindset is incredibly harmful since it denies basic scientific facts, labels all critics as fat phobic or body shaming and therefore is risky towards the health of that individual. And Lizzo is pushing this movement whilst being fat phobic herself.

Honest title: From trying to safe people's health to not giving a damn any longer. Let everyone be obese. I don't care any longer, but don't tell me it's healthy or beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you can't force anyone to like unhealthy body types.

I honestly just came for the comments. I applaud this woman for trying to fight the odds, by all means put yourself out there and be confident. However. Lizzo? No honey just keep moving along. Next job. You'll be safer elsewhere.

Now do one with a girl wanting to be like Eugenia Cooney and paint it in the same positive light because they think it's for beauty.
