The Unknowns: Mystifying UFO Cases

Here-s the story:
This happened in July of 2022, my family was in Door Country Wisconsin visiting and celebrating the 4th of July with family relatives. At around 1: 00 AM one night, my brother and I went outside and walked to the dock on the lake in order to do some stargazing as we-re both interested in astronomy and there-s very little light pollution in the area where we were staying. We had probably been out there for around 20 minutes when I noticed something in my peripheral vision to my left. I turned to look at what it was and I saw some bright green object racing through the sky. I only had about 2-3 seconds to look at it before my view of it was obstructed by trees. I asked my brother if he had seen it too and he said that he did see it as well.
It-s hard to describe what I saw because I saw it for only a short amount of time. Like I said earlier it was bright green, and I would say that its size appeared to be a little bit smaller than that of a full moon. The object made no sound and it didn-t seem to be too far away.
After seeing it the first thing I thought of was that it was maybe a meteor burning up in the atmosphere. However I kind of doubt that theory. A meteor burning in a green color is apparently pretty rare. Meteors also leave trails of burning debris behind them as they burn up, but I didn-t see any kind of trail, it looked like a singular intact object. The object also made no sound and if it were a meteor, we should-ve heard some kind of sonic boom or loud noise, judging by how close it seemed to be.
So that-s the story. I really have no idea what my brother and I saw that night. Was it a meteor? I doubt it, but I can-t definitively say it wasn-t one. Was it aliens? I also doubt it, but of course I can-t 100% conclude that it wasn-t. I straight up have no idea what it could have been.

What always gets me is that despite most people in the world have access to both cameras and the internet, yet entire continents like South America and Africa have almost no reportings of UFOs.
Then you learn that UFO sightings were essentially none existent until WW2. The rapid increase of aeronautics and the secrecy many countries had explains why reports if strange flying objects were as common as they were in Europe and the US. The areas most affected by the cold war.
And then you dig deeper and find out that area 51 housing aliens is a myth that the US government itself spread. Yes, the US government gaslighted people so they would spread conspiracies aboht aliens to cover up secret planes they were making.
And then you learn almost all theories about ancient aliens are racist and how most are just old Nazi propaganda to discredit the works of -Non-Romans- aka the First Reich.
And then you put yourself in these Alien's mindsets. Why would a species so advanced as to have mastered ingalatic travel do such mundane things like abduct people. Why would there be so many different descriptions on said aliens. Unless you conclude that 10s of 1000s of people lied but only 1 person told the truth.
Aliens exist. Scientists have discovered that things lived on Mars at some point. The Universe is massive, if there was life on mars, there is life on similar planets.
I love the idea of aliens. I love sci fi and i love science. I would do anything to meet sentient life from outside our planet. I will even believe some people on their accounts of seeing aliens. Not that what they saw was aliens, but that they did in fact experience something.

I don't care about -credible- witnesses, credible witnesses are humans and humans are prone to lie, misunderstand, misremember, embellish, and hallucinate. Which is why the belief in witches took so long to die out, why people claim they've seen ghosts and leprechauns and fairies. Just one indisputable video on which we can see clear as day the supposed 8km cubed Vogon Constructor ship Cletus saw in his backyard while drinking moonshine and munching wild mushrooms, and there will be statues of Cletus the Man Who Made Contact all over the world. But we've all been walking around with HD cameras in our backpockets for 1, 5 decade and no one has produced even a single convincing photograph of a discarded Xenomorph eggshell or a makeshift Draconian latrine left behind after they helped build a Mayan archeological site. Conclusion: don't buy the stories of 1940s PTSD victims. Not unless they brought clear footage or physical evidence.

I quite liked your final thoughts! I personally believe some UFO sightings are legitimate, yet I have no clue whether they are secret government programs, extraterrestrials, inter-dimensional beings, human craft from the future, or whatever. But I do know for sure that 'natural' explanations like weather balloons, meteorological phenomena, standard aircraft, etc. cannot account for all reported sightings. I thought what you said about definitive photographic proof was quite observant. Even if the perfect picture was taken by the perfect witness, hardened skeptics would still not believe it. Honestly I think the same would be true if a spaceship landed and aliens got out and said -take me to your leader-; it would just be explained as an elaborate hoax or a mass hallucination.

I once was a passenger ina acr, drive downa big highway during the day. Was chatting with driver casually, when out of nowhere, with zero sound, a smal, triangle shaped craft flew over us/across the highway. It was so quite, but what was odder is it seemed to be moving very slow yet we were traveling fast in the car but it seemed right over us. we also didnt say a word to eachother, it was odd. couldnt do anything but stare up. was almost frozen. as it moved away it was like me and driver snapped out of it and just looked at eachother with the same -wth was that face- but again, oddly it was like something in our heads had us dismiss it and not care about what we just saw. the strangest thing was how it felt while seeing it and how it didnt feel like a big deal. very odd.

I understand the thought that because of our phones, we pretty much all have a camera in our pockets, so it makes no sense why there-s no clear ufo footage. But a lot of people are really overestimating the capabilities of mobile phone cameras. Yes the cameras today are really good, but because they use digital zoom, there-s a point where the quality of the photo/video gets worse the more you zoom in. Given that a lot of ufo sightings are of crafts high up and far away in the air, it makes sense why there-s so much shitty footage. If you try to take a photo/video of an object that-s very far away with a phone camera, it-s not going to come out very clear.

I can totally understand how these sightings will be eventually covered up by higher officials. In truth no one can possibly explain these sightings and due to their incompetency and to reduce public scare then covering up the information should follow.
I wouldnt be surprised if the government has a program not known to the public with the sole purpose of researching UFOs. Every other previous organizations would be considered -closed- due to their very public perspective in information. We can look at the organizations that were established then quickly terminized after enough credible information was gathered.

I dont know for sure but i think ive once seen a ufo i was walking my dog and out of nowhere there was a bright light flying over me followed by extreme winds heavy enough to scare my dog when i looked up searching for the light that passed the sky was clear as can be nothing to be seen i dont know what it was but people in the area reported their windows shaking from the same winds that passed me it could have been anything ofcourse but it still was pretty weird since there was nothing in the sky the second i looked

I don-t believe that E. T. s have ever visited earth and think most everyone who-s claimed to see a UFO or alien was either lying, mistaken or fooled. What interests me far more than actual -visitors- is what some of the seemingly more credible witnesses COULD have seen. Like the New Mexico -egg- ship incident. I-d love to know what really instigated that event/sighting. What or who the actual culprit was.

I think instead, i would have just been better off as a rock, a smooth rock of about 8in in diameter, not very intrusive to anyone or anything, but with a curved line across the top so it looks like i am smiling for the next 1000 centuries. From personal experience, the UFOs from 12: 35 in the video are incredibly similar to the ones I have seen. Mines were in a circular shape, with three lights visible on each one of the two, and they moved in a fashion where one would -scout- the area ahead out, pause, and the other would repeat. Its interesting how similar cases can be, while the sightings being thousands of miles away.

The only image that comes to mind when thinking about the Zamora case for me is the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle. It had about the dimensions of the described vehicle, and it used a thruster that produced invisible flames. Though I higly doubt that they were just flying around the desert in such an experimental craft, especially with its limited fuel storage.

One of my personal theories on why UFOs dont seem to have -real- sightings anymore is that any potential celestial crafts or beings simply just. found what they were looking for. Its been almost 80 years since some of the first sightings on this list, and that is plenty of time for some celestians to find what info they required.

you should look into the brazilian -operation saucer-, in which despite several military personel who were sent to the location to investigate describing seeing UFOs the final report just said -meh, mass hysteria, dont worry about it, case closed-. public docs were released in 2004

- Swamp gas is capable of almost anything
- Weather balloons are capable of almost anything
- Everything is a plane except when it's not, in which case please see 2 previous points
