Microscopes for SMD Soldering 15 VS 45 VS 189 FlyView: I bought one Wifi Microscope Myself and at middle way to Get an App that actually would work. Or at least recognize the Wifi Connection and Let me use it how it is supposed to. I found other Apps and one of them The Magnifier & Microscope on Google Play. I tried it and My Phone Samsung A70 actually happened to Be a Much better Microscope than the one I Bought. So if you have a Smartphone with a Good Camera it is Nice to Know what Simples Apps Can Let you do with it. For real try it, You'll be Surprised. Greetings!

How about this! If you're just doing the occasional repair, just buy something cheap. If you're in the business of doing these repairs everyday, buy something good! And if you need something like this explained to you you don't need to be doing this work to begin with because you have no common sense whatsoever!

One thing I'll add - I purchased one of the 15 microscopes from Celestron years ago (when they were in the 45 range) and the rubber coating on it has started to break down and get 'gooey'. I'm guessing the manufacturers are still using the same rubber coating. Would not buy again: )

Looks like just more crap on my bench I don't have room for. I've found using a pair of 20 reading glasses with the magnification amped up works well. Try out different strengths like +2. 00 or +3. 00 to see how your eyes adjust to seeing the tiny SMD boards

On the cheapest microscope, it looks like you did not remove the cap that protects the lens. Removing it will make a huge difference on quality as one may expect. It has a tab on the side that helps removing it and placing it back when not in use.

HMMM. you need something like really REALLY accurate servos and hmm. vive or index control wands and use some mapping between their position in space and the iron and solder feeder hmm that would be AWESOME to play with hehehe

That last HD dashcam (ahem, microscope) is already nice for home DIY. But would be even better if it would have adjustable metal hand for separate price. Sometimes I need to do small repairs on laptop PCBs and similar stuff.

i used a cheap usb microscope in my job for soldering smd 9 hour per day is a real nightmare, the delay time is a shit. this things are just for hobby uses or one proyect per year like you says.

Add information from the microscope wifi after installing the application on the phone or tablet steals user data and sends fake messages. The device is working but the app is a scam.

The 1st 1 is ok, the 2nd mustool is better - that base is lame, but a better 1 can be purchased - plus affordable! The 3rd one is a bit pricey, but sharper. Thank you again
