The best low power display? E-Paper Tutorial miodice3: Its weird all the reviewers for these epaper displays dont go through the step by step of actually where to get the example codes and libraries, how to set them up etc. these epaper displays in my opinion have some of the worst documentation around and after getting a bunch of other displays to work these are not easy. I've only found one sketch that toggles a bitmap on and off and no text support.

I feel like the micro-capsules just make it expensive. if you notice, there are like hundreds of microcapsules per pixel. Completely unnecessary.
If you also notice, good e-paper displays are super pricey. Especially bigger ones.
But the core concept doesn't seem that expensive. Makes me think it's just the capsules raising the price.

Could a version of this tech potentially be used as say, a screen for a projector? Projectors obviously have a hard time displaying blacks, but a very high refresh rate e-paper screen could be able to switch portions of the screen from white to black and back to white again as needed for the image being displayed.

My problem with this is that the only ones you can really buy are the ones used for cheap price tag-like displays - the high quality ones in E-Readers are un-obtainable. I've had many things i want to try but I wish I had a crisper alternative.

Hi, could you please creat a clock for us? Take us through from building the atmega328 pcb to programming the 7in eink with clock number sprites in hex please? I'm just starting out in arduino, and a video like that would be awesome. Thanks.

I want to know how many highlighters this man goes through. you like a kid in 3rd grade when they go over important thing in a sentence.

Great Scott, great video. It all makes sence now.
Can such E-paper display be back-lit? That would make it usable in dark conditions.
