8 Foods You Didn't Know Were Invented in America - History Countdown HL: No offense Miami, but Tampa owns the Cuban. -
I love this. I always proudly claim that American cuisine is legitimately a reference to our mixing pot. we have influences from almost every Continent and a myriad of individuals countries or sub-Continents just as we have immigrants from the same.
The idiot Left wants to claim that -cultural appropriation- is a negative racist -thing-, which just defies logic. As DNA advances of today scientifically prove what we have long suspected, each American individual is a mixture from all over the world.
Although there are certainly some Americans with 100% DNA of one country/region, it is growing more rare. It is wonderful to learn from those who have the knowledge & unique experiences from their heritage.
How fun! I-ve eaten at the NYC restaurant where that General Cho (sp) was first introduced. it was hands down the best American-Chinese cuisine I-ve ever had, ever. -

I think pasta and meatballs were already in Italy.
Meatballs are originally from the north of Italy, I think.

Fun Fact: German's Chocolate Cake is massively popular in both Okinawa and Hawai'i, and it's made with choke amounts of shredded coconut. Go to Zippys for a slice when you visit the Islands.

1. What's a Swiss Steak? 2. How can you say the Swiss weren't involved when they brought the UK version of -swissed- steaks to the US in the first place?

I knew all these, but I still loved this presentation. Basically, if it's deep-fried, super sweet, or contains giant meat, it's American. -
