A Brief History Of How Homo Sapiens Survived The Last Ice-Age The last Ice Age was during the palaeolithic and early Mesolithic periods of human history, beginning 100, 000 years ago and ending 25, 000 years ago, By the time it was over, homo sapiens were the only human species to have survived its brutal conditions. First of all what was the Ice Age? The Ice Age or Last Glacial Period was the time during which up to approximately 30% of the Earths surface was covered in ice and temperatures peaked around 7 degrees Celsius Sheets of ice and glaciers covered Antarctica, Canada, Northern USA and Northern Eurasia, some of which can still be seen today, thousands of years later. Sea levels fell across the world and rainfall was less than half of what it is today. During this period, multiple human species existed and lived across the world Denisovans and homo erectus in Asia, Neanderthals in Western and Central Eurasia and the modern-day human, homo sapiens, in Africa. With ice blanketing the land and a lack of rainwater, vegetation suffered, becoming sparse and limited. Conditions were often bleak, and food was hard to find for early humans. Lets find out more in this video

3: 10 Beautiful explanation. However I disagree that Human Being come from Africa. The linguistics research shows that human beings came from Arabia 10, 000 BC (Wuethrich, Bernice (2000. Peering Into the Past, With Words. Science. 288 (5469): 1158. The favorable conditions: Fertile Crescent, researches in farming, domestication of animals due to excesses products of farming and not needing of clubbing every animal humans met, the Holocene unlocked the Caucasus mountains (future metallurgy and greeks mythology that Prometheus chained, the first farmers migrated all the way from the Caucasus to British Isles. I couldn't explain why Ingush people have so many common words with old English and old Irish. Eventually they were mixed with Indo-Europeans and lost some language and changed structure. Basic words e. g. chin, marry, char, mud, nap or old Irish (Gaeilge, Ingush people call themselves Ghalgha): da (father, ford (sea, nan (mother, see (wife, foo (wind) etc, etc, etc. 6: 31 I disagree with the statement because the first humans were hunter-gathers and couldn't stay in one shelter unless they were farmers which allowed them to be attached to the land. So, before the farming and following domestication of animals they were nomads, hence low numbers. 7: 10 I totally agree it was luck!

It is well contested that only Homo Sapiens had sophisticated speech: the Neanderthals had culture and religion as well as sophisticated tools, and they could contain and carry fire and prepare hides, just like modern indigenous people do today! There is also evidence that the Neanderthals did not plan and coordinate their hunts - it is more than likely they did - all that needed sophisticated language (which they were physically capable of. Moreover, scientists have even suggested that the neanderthals taught home sapience many of the survival skills!
What is true though that the neanderthal hides do not show any kind of evidence of them being worn as clothing - even if they just tied the hides with a grass rope or a piece of leather, it would have left a mark (or wear) on the hide. Certainly, they do not indicate systematic holes that would indicate the use of needles.

I think that it might have been a combination of things that helped Homo Sapiens survive over Neanderthals. Caloric needs was much less for the much less muscular Homo Sapiens. This alone (a couple hundred calories a day) might account for our success, especially when living on the razors edge in an ice age climate. I think Ive read that Neanderthals could speak (at least they had the organs to do so, they may not have done it as effectively as we did. Again, a small, but significant advantage might have made all the difference. The largest difference may have been our social skills. While Neanderthals stayed in small family units, Home Sapiens natural inclination to gather together in social groups may have made another small, but significant difference. In the end, Neanderthals may have perished because of a perfect storm of many different small factors.

In the country known as Australia people today still continue their culture (despite attempts of colon isation ) as they have done for over 60, 000 years! Problem is people have brought sickness of culture from the northern hemisphere here in the last 220 or so years. It doesn't fit (wrong plants, animals, geography, water movement, weather) and is so warped by heirachical thinking humans that doesn't work very well, even though we are all taught to think it is the best 'standard' of living. it is actually destroying all the life in these magnificent lands and waters. About time we all followed leadership of the First Nations peoples across the world and deeply because modern rubbish is just that. rubbish for planet earth.

I like the theory that the needle changed mans evolution haha crock of turd. Archeology is not a science its a puseudo science that sometimes employs scientific methods that will mostly be ignored or dismissed if it contradicts popular or individual ideas such as the out of africa theory or the overkill theory both utter bullflap. Then as your explaining why making clothes was so important you show us a model of a hominid female all dressed up in animal skins but with her belly and boobs hanging out. I rest my case, anthropolgical fairytales. Cant wait to see your upload about the ancient egyptions

We all came out of Africa. All human subspecies migrated. Interestingly, none of the human subspecies successfully migrated back to Africa.
This tells us that our species, Homo Sapiens, were much more aggressive and assertive than their cousins.
Any that might have made it back to the Homo Sapien border lands, were most likely raped and cannibalised.
Narcissism gave us an evolutionary edge; that urge to own and control that lead not only to landing on the Moon, but to the extinction of our cousins and the destruction of civilisations, peoples and species.

Homosapien only existed along the equatorial lines of earth which was a lot warmer and wasn't really affected by the ice age. neandatal went through and survived at least 4 ice agese. They were starting fires cooking food and making clothing while homosapien were still basically scavengers, it was only after the ice ages that homosapien moved into Europe and assimilated the neandatal.

So how many people have DNA from neanderthal? So what does that mean? European humans are a blended human? So are we different then humans today that don't have neanderthal dna? Is 1% enough difference is 5% how much makes modern humans different then other modern humans. Homosapien that never left home never diluted their DNA are the true humans?
reply

Humans have survived because God made us about 6000 years ago. We have been farming since then and building cities.
There was no 100K years ago. DNA can't even survive that long in the generations. Evolution has zero evidences and their stories are running out of gas. Naturalists have no answers for DNA origins, only creation has an answer

What you don't mention is that it was a very near thing even for homo sapiens. Genetic research has shown that at one point during the last Ice Age, there were fewer than 5000 humans on the entire planet. We could easily have gone extinct. It was only a roll of the dice that allowed humanity to survive.

Current 2022 thoughts n evidence suggest neanderthal were capable of speech and mastering of fire goes back to 2. 4 million yrs ago.
Neanderthal evidence suggests they are still among at least on dna trace amounts world wide.
I think we had better immune systems, better breeders.

Humans' biggest enemy are humans, we survived the ice age, we were on top of the food chain and we just fought eachother for thousands of years, imagine Mongol invasions, colonization of Americas, 1st and 2nd world wars and Hiroshima Nagasaki, why? even today humans are after other humans.

This has to be the dumbest theory ever put to video like it was fact. Of course those that believe this obvious tripe are even more funny in the comments. Just sound confident and talk like what you're saying is common knowledge and the idiots just believe it without question.

I always find it odd that homosapiens are depicted as white, despite the fact that they lived in Africa. I wonder if there is any genetic information about this matter. Also, Neanderthals are often depicted as darker colored or even black. hmmm.
reply

common thought among some anthropologists neanderthals vanished by eventually repeatedly breeding with h sapiens.
lm evidence of that, prominent ridges above my eyes, extra tolerant of cold and immense lower body strength.

reply

I question some of these things, but the one about clothing iscompletely wrong. Neaderthals had warm clothing too and they could use needle and tread. how else would they survived for as long as they did in cold Europe.

the only place on Earth that didn't freeze those years was the Carpathian Basin - still is the best hot mineral water spring source on the planet with quite a thin layer above the lava

Thank you for blurring out the drawn / animated breasts and genitals in your presentation. Especially in the depictions of Neanderthals. That way, I don''t get distracted; -)

LIES, ALL LIES. We didn't evolve from damn monkeys. What is truly sad and evil is these people who push this garbage will look you in the eye and expect you to believe it.
reply

there were no homo sapiens, and no ice age! God created adam first and he was like us, like Gods image and God said the seasons will never change so stop lying to people!
