How did the American Civil War Actually Happen? (Part 2) - All Important Battles of 1861 The main reason for the civil war was money, and states rights. Abraham Lincoln signed the natl banking act to secure funds that inevitably made us all salves to the bankers. Shortly after, the Federal Reserve was created. I enjoyed the history lesson. I wish the text books in schools could come close. instead of tip toeing the facts, however history is written by the victors. We are all one people and the enemy is the powers that be that constantly wish to divide us though social engineering and propaganda. Keep your eyes open. Peace and love. As far as slavery goes, it would have been worked out on its own because its morally wrong. Any time the -feds- step in, better get lubed up.\r\n

I have it on good authority from many Republicans, as though most people don't already know it to be true, that the Democrats were the party of slavery and the KKK in the 1860s. However, I'm still waiting for them to explain why the ONLY defenders of the Confederacy today are Republicans and so-called -conservatives. - Why is it that virtually any social media site that venerates the slavers and their rebellion is created, maintained and populated by Republicans and so-called -conservatives-? Why does the KKK state that today's Republican Party most closely reflects its -values-? Why is it that Confederate flags are a fixture at Republican rallies, not at Democratic events?

If Stonewall Jackson doesn't get killed, the South wins the civil War at Gettysburg. Jackson's old corp was on the Left flank or the Union's right. Lee told Ewell to attack the Union right flank if practicable! Ewell didn't attack which gave the union time to dig in and fortify their position. Stonewall Jackson wouldn't have had to be told by Lee to attack the union right, it would have been done! Jackson would have swept the Union army out of their positions by taking their right flank and the war could have ended then. Too bad because now we are left with a very corrupt government trying to kill us.

Why the south seceded (economic independence) and why the north tried to stop them (economic survival) is irrelevant to the real issue; did the north really have in legal standing in forcing states to remain in the Union? The seceding states used the same method to withdraw that was used by the original 13 states to secede from the Articles of Confederation, conventions of the people. In 1860 and 1787, it was not the state legislatures that acted, but those who were determined to be the -Supreme authority- in each state, the people. How this can be labeled as rebellion and treason is beyond comprehension.

Thank you for using the correct historical flag, for the American confederacy. Most Americans are clueless as to what their own history happens to be. If one American says, one says, -This flag is the confederate flag, - even if they are extremely wrong, the rest will jump on the bandwagon and all will be wrong. Then when faced with historical facts, they will blatantly refuse the facts.

General Winfield Scott was such a great and under appreciated figure, he first routed Mexico, then gave Union an upper hand before retiring, and he was a Virginian. He gave union an upper hand and his genius led union to capture the largest city of confederacy New Orleans without even firing a shot. That crippled the confederacy from the get go!
Such a genius! Give him his credit due!

It takes some tunnel vision to say the confederacy was definitively winning at any point in the war. Like in this video ignoring the battle of Rich Mountain. Where they lost their entire militia (1300 for context about the same casualties as the North in Wilson's Creek. and as a result about half of what was then Virginia

Let's see if this video discusses the impact of Plasmodium falciparum on the Union Army. Malaria (P. falciparum) was endemic in the South as far north as Washington DC. While P. vivax was endemic as far as the southern end of New England, P. falciparum has a higher mortality rate.

How did The Confederates defeat the Union in 1861? It didn't! By having Lincoln free the northern slaves he also kept the British out of the war and from joining the South. All major conflicts after and including Gettysburg were won by the Union, thus the South lost.

Haha and the rebel flag you actually get to see it in this video it's not the one that juicy and everybody says the rebel flag that's the rebel Battle Flag baxyl rebel flag is what you see in this video is the rebel flag if you notice it looks a lot like the US flag

Sure wish the South had won. It would be a dream to have a Confederate States. Then we wouldn-t be forced to endure this woke insanity. And we wouldn-t be having blacks and gays forced down our throats. I can-t stand America in 2023. It-s an evil and vile place.

The south & the USA would have been better off never having slaves or allowing those who could have been considered to become slaves ever entering the USA. Texas would have been better off staying a independent country of their own. Shalom

For all of the people saying the South had a right to leave. It's over. They lost. If you currently live in the United States of America. You are living in the Country that Lincoln, Grant, Sherman and Sheridan helped to preserve. Get over it
reply

I always thought a lot of Abe Lincoln but I never knew that under his watch the media and free speech were suppressed, that's absolutely ridiculous, that's like the biggest problem these days. I dont call that being very honest
reply

The better question is how did the confederacy lose the war? The more I read of the history, the more impossible the north-s chances of victory looked. The south even stopped fighting one battle just to tend to the north-s wounded.

-knowledgia pls also make video how settlers from Europe made an occupation of North America, about genocide of Redskins, how scalping people, how America was created on blood and bones of local people!
reply

I'm quite excited. We're getting so close to 1863! I'm hoping you cover the burning of a certain bridge, marking a major defeat for the confederacy and what some consider the turning point of the war.
reply

There wasn't really a point where the Confederacy was winning tactically or strategically. Their only hope was that the Union would eventually get tired but they really sucked at fighting a war of Attrition
reply

Its funny you talk about -preserving Independence- but when my Country The CSA wanted to form thier own Union, ohhhh yall got a problem with that! The united states is nothing but a bully!
reply

The South started off with the better Generals. The North had far inferior Generals. This changed as the War went on. The Union Generals became better, the Southern ones Died.
reply

Imagine starting a war over the right to own another human being, winning most of the major battles in the first half of the war and then still managing to lose.
reply

i like that you are staying truthful to the facts. too many these days say american civil war was started because of differences on slavery, politicising the matter
reply

If you're going to represent this video as history don't make up BS flags that mean nothing. History is what happened, NOT how you'd like to portray it. Grow a pair.
reply

-Destroys enemy army-
-People in enemy country dont want to continue-
-General Staff is disorganized-
-Has a lot of advantages-
CSA: We are losing!

reply

Don-t listen to this video it-s full of historical inconsistencies. Whoever made this video is obviously biased for the Confederates. This is fake history.
reply

Title is incorrect, the Confederates lost horrifically against the Union. They lost so hard, their great great grandkids are still butt hurt about it.
reply

Almost counts in cards and hop scotch. Nothing else. The confederates were pussies and scumbags. Always lose when your intentions are evil. ------

West Virginia left Virginia and Joined the union-as did Kentucky, Missouri and Maryland. Can we stop with this border state bs rhetoric? ---
reply

I have been to the battle of Wilson's Creek. Also had many family members fight in the Civil War. Very interesting time period for our country.
reply

Gettysburg showed the union soldiers had to fight, that war was serious, rebels had to be stopped, the union now had a reason to fight back.
