It's hard for me to say, I fell more introverted than extroverted, at the same time there are parts of ambivert that don't really fit me either. I love having a routine, and dislike when my status quo gets interrupted. If I can make plans ahead of time I can deal with interruptions with minimal if any problems, such as when I get excited to go to a con. I can get excited when I'm talking about a subject I enjoy, but I also have trouble reading social cues and can unintentionally come off as annoying to people. Typically I can only do small talk with people I don't know or don't have any known common interests with. sometimes I just have enough of people at work and need to be alone when I get home.

I'd say I'm an extroverted ambivert. I love being in a group, having fun, and partying, and I don't burn out quickly. I can keep going right until the party ends and still feel psyched. But i also tend to enjoy being alone. I like being alone with my thoughts. Being able to consider whatever I want, whenever I want to. And if I'm in one of those moods I don't want be disturbed unless it's someone I'm really close to and someone who is not very energetic. We can just sit and relax and talk about my ideas. I guess I don't fit the technical definition of ambivert where I'm the perfect balance. But I'm definitely not an introver or extrovert either.

In the following years, I became an Introvert to Extrovert to Ambivert.
My family didn't like me to not being social at all = reason to turn into Extrovert
I became too much social and again my family didn't like it = reason to become an Introvert again
Soon, I learned to be both Introvert and Extrovert
One day, after school one of my close friends and I were talking. The question whether I was an Introvert or an Extrovert came in between. I said to my friend that I was a piece of both. Then my friend told me about Ambiverts.
And now I recognise myself as an Ambivert.

I think I'm on the introverted side of the ambivert. I do find most of the points actually relevent to me, and with those I don't relate at all or not precisely, I feel this is when my introvertion side shows up.
I do relate to points 1-6, 8 and 11 pretty much. in 4+7 I feel more introverted, in 9 I'm the complete opposite (since I'm not good at initiating coversations, chatty people, especially people I like to chat with, help me be more chatty and open, while quiet people like me can make me more quite because no one leads.
I'm not sure about 10, though.

For so many years I thought I was an Introvert but in recent years and definitely this past week of being all alone in the house and having no friends to talk to. I discovered I'm an Ambivert. I like my personal space but I love the feeling that I'm not alone, that I can just stroll on into the next room and see what they're doing. Being deprived of that REALLY freaking sucks. Now I know I can't live alone or I'll become lazy and depressed.

I cant say if Im truly an ambivert, but watching this video a massive wave of relief came over me. Listening to those things just filled in the gaps for me on so many things. I was confused why i get so lonely by myself but also get tired around larger groups/social settings after awhile. And getting 52% extrovert and 48% introvert on tests just messed with me. Its nice to be able to understand

At first I really thought I was an introvert, turns out I just haven't met the right people that would bring out the extroverted side in me lol but yeah I think I may also be an ambivert because I enjoy being with my friends but also get tired of it eventually and just wanna go home for some alone time lol.

I am definitely more on the extroverted side, but that does not I am not an ambivert. Some ambiverts are more on the introverted side, which is fine. Some tend to be as close to an ambivert as possible. Some of these points dont apply to me, but a lot of them do and that does not make me not an ambivert

As an ambivert, my way of socializing is quite confusing. Im mostly chatty when it comes to close friends and interesting topics, but sometimes I do end up very quiet and being an observer, mostly with people Im not really close to. I am a bit quiet too in some of my friends, those who are quiet as well.

I hide from guests who visit my house cus Im so nervous and I dont know what to talk but I like to go to the places where there are many people around, I enjoy the presence of people walking by and the way they see me as invisible. It means I like going out, I like seeing people but I like to keep silent.
reply

I can agree to all of that because I'm an ambivert. Or I'm an introvert because I have no friends(-_-. I just be with people who ain't my friend, but they hate me so normally I sit next to a tree. And it's kinda nice to be honest just watching people playing football without me.

I thought I was an introvert since I dont like going out everyday like my dad who is an extrovert but at the same time I want to go out with my friends after a few daysor even after a day or twobut I would totally stay at home if Im on my periods cause its hella uncomfortable

Im the most extroverted person ever around my friends and classmates but then the moment I meet a new person when Im not around friends I just turn from 8 to -10 instantly but at the same time online in a 100 ambivert through and through, so irl what would I be?

I for most of my life was an introvert and was shy and lonely but I feel like I have gotten to the midway point where I am an ambivert. I still like introverted things but like social interactions as well.
reply

I'm actually a social introvert, which is under the ambivert umbrella so to speak. I like to talk with my family and friends, but not with complete strangers unless it's through general polite conversations.
reply

I never heard of the term Ambivert till a few moments ago and had to look it up. This fits me to a T. I never knew it was a thing. I always said it just depended on my mood on which way I went.

That's everybody. No one is 100% extra/introvert. It's a theoretical model to describe a person's socializing _tendencies_. It was never intended to be treated like the horoscopes.

I think I'm like
0-12: extrovert
13: introvert
14-18: extrovert
19: introvert
20: omnivert
Idk I'm confused, I socially withdraw whenever I feel depressed

reply

Yayyy I actually got to confirm that I actually am an ambivert. This was fun. If I'd say where I stand on the scale of ambivert, I lean just slightly more towards extrovert.
reply

Ambiverts: More predictable and balances introversion and extroversion traits
Me: Wait I don't fit as an Ambivert nor an Introvert or Extrovert, then what am I?

reply

Everyone think Im an extrovert because I make jokes I just like to cheer people up but I usually dont enjoy being around others unless something Im interested in comes up
reply

I had a confusion weather i am an extrovert or introvert cuz i have some points from introvert as well as extrovert i never heard of ambivert now i think i am ambivert
reply

reply

I'd new heard of an ambivert until today. Perhaps it's me. On MB style tests my introvert and e travertine scores are always very close, sometimes tied.
