I have dealt with chronic migraines for years. It's not news, bad or otherwise, how much it sucks to have them. We joke we are a family of vampires because of how we all shrink from the light. It is only good news you brought of people developing a greater understanding of what migraine is and a better way to treat it.
There is also the geneticist in California who has found a certain genetic mutation causing migraines. It's not hard to imagine that this genetic mutation could be linked to the under developed circle of Willis. This study in California also promises better treatments to come. All my life migraines have been a mysterious curse attempting to cripple my life, now the mystery begins to evaporate and soon better treatments will lift the curse.

I feel SO bad for laughing at the screams for 2 and 3
More seriously, I'm with you on the skepticism of the anti-depressant. There's really only so much a pill can do to help and something that works that fast just sounds like a hazard to anyone who has extreme depression and is also in a bad situation. Of course, that's just me thinking of a worse case scenario. On the flip side, something that works that fast could be amazing for helping with depression. .. as long as it's not TOO effective. (Yeah, I'm a giant skeptic wen it comes to meds and I have good reason to be)

I tend to have what I'm told is an unusual reaction to hearing someone scream. If the person is in arms length i instinctively smack them just as an involuntary response. I don't remember being struck as a child for screaming though I don't remember anything before i was 2 years old.

Weirdly enough, as a psychology student who wants to apply psychology on film (somehow lol) I think the thing about scream roughness can be used in. actual acting or voice acting! //SHOT

cool new video I did find the jump cuts were too soon at times. Like, the words weren't cut short, but it did seem a tad off. maybe I'm just use to PhilDefranco's style to be honest.

When I mention that English is my second language and I'm asked what's my first, I tell them it was Screaming. According to this video it IS a form of communication so I'm not way off: -\

I do not believe that there is such thing as clearing depression for a day because of a pill. Just because it helps for 24 hours doesn't mean the next day you'll be happy once more.

I had my headphones on and I was paying attention to the video and then I put my phone to grab a snack and I was ear-raped from the screams: 'v at 2 minutes and 18 seconds.

I've forgotten how to scream or at least don't scream in situations when I probably should (i. e. when I feel as though my life is in imminent danger) is that normal?

Hearing about new Psychology phenomena is really fun, I get a sense of superiority when having psych discussions because I have the most updated information.

Great video. Quick question: was there a new article about the Circle of Willis and Migraines? I tried to search and all I could find was older stuff. Thanks!
