Okay, I know this is an older video but if anybody's around for an opinion, I don't know how I feel about this guy:
So I met this guy (2 years older) in my university acapella group and he's a real sweetheart, caring, super funny, and really supportive. I was slow to warm up to the group cause I'm quite shy but the crush hit me when we went to a competition all together and part of me just wanted to stick by him. So I had a crushy stage and I did tell him I liked him (he never told me how he felt back and just wanted to be practical, lots of complicated details and I wasn't expecting anything either) but we text everyday and I've confided in him about rough days, like I feel like I can tell him almost anything. I really trust him a lot and I'd say we're good friends now but I can't quite tell if it's the sort of fade of a crush into a friendship or if it's a love.

You see, I know who I want. I know him. I know he at least likes me back. I am confident in our relationship and don't feel jealousy of others he's been with because I've been with him from the start. We've never been in a REAL relationship. But we both know we've felt feelings for each other. All his relationships in the past he's had with other people. I didn't mind, because somewhere down in my heart, I knew I was right for him. And he was right for me. All these girls would eventually break off. I've been his friend from the start. We've known each other for 7 years. I know that he is the one that I want. However, he is going to a different school. And I won't be able to see him. I don't want to loose him since we've been in the same classes ever since kindergarten. I love him.

Cause the first moment i met him i was scared of him, cause people talk about him alot, about how's he's weird behaviour. And there's something that just happens need us to communicate, and thats how i know his name. Time by time, i realise that my eyes always saw him everywhere, i mean EVERYWHERE. But i ignore my thought and just act normal. We laugh together alot, we argue alot, he even share his funny story to me. After afew weeks, i realise that i like him. There's alot of challenge that happen but he seem doesn't care ( he knows about my feeling) and always told me to believe to myself and do my best.

The thing is. I have a crush on someone, but I don't like them for their appearance. They sure are cute but that's just a bonus tbh.
I have this urge to protect them and appreciate their hardwork.
When I found out that my crush likes someone else, (and my friend had the same situation, she was like, I'll make him regret rejecting me in that way. but idk what made me go pray to god that that person wouldn't reject my crush. when got transferred to a new school for my 6th grade, there's this one girl that i like just few weeks before the graduation for grade school.
i liked her for like 5 years now, I got crushes on different persons throughout middle school and also got transferred to another city 4 hours away, but my feelings keep me coming back to her.
here i am now just a week away for moving up to Senior High school and i'm planning if i would go back there for college so i can see her and maybe confess my feelings to her again.

I can't even just go and ask him as because I am a shy person, but I am really tired of this behaviour of his. He is playing hide and seek. Sometime his stares creep me out. Can't you fall in love with someone who only sees you in a platonic way? And wouldn't that invite in the feelings of jealousy or possessiveness? Even if you've known each other for a long time and learned all those secrets and best friend sort of things, you can develop the feelings of love while they don't feel that way in return. I just feel like this didn't cover this type of basis I'm looking for, but it was a good video.

I really love someone right now, and I believe they love me. But we were going down a path that wasnt healthy because I was letting my insecurities get to me and she was under a lot of stress. Im taking time to grow and give us space. I really feel love for her still and hope we can reconnect soon and work through things.

Would it be reasonable to say that love starts off with a crush? Because it feels that way to me. I feel the same about someone now than I did 13 years ago when my crush began. We dated, but split up way back. To have the same feelings all these years later, that doesn't sound like a crush to me anymore.
