When I was younger my school was 100% aware of me having ADHD though they knew they just got mad at me get me in trouble I would get send home crying because I had trouble learning about or getting yelled at for zooning out I get it can be annoying but still mentally hurting a child is never okay I still do have ADHD I still do get behind but I do try my best to focus although it can be really hard because one I have trouble focusing in class I was always on top in science and history because we got to talk/move though other classes didn't try but just complain and just get me in trouble this is because I can't help. It but talk/zoon out, move to much, and would get stressed and scared to easily though I. Never show it in class I tap my foot or crack my knuckles because I panick and get out of control sometimes I do try my best to not cause distrubens but sometimes I really can't help it ADHD is not fun so please don't mock or saysit's not a bag deal even if you have a friend you don't know what it's like because you never hadba personal experience with it and it's really not a joke it's a disorder that effects people learning

I know this video is old, but anyone still here, I have a few things id like to share! One fact Ive learned from many different people, including researchers, is most people with adhd are more intelligent than people without. I believe in you all! :) Another thing Id like to share is a method that many people use for adhd AND stress. Most people use this method in a certain order but I use it in the way I like. The 5 senses method is when you use each of your 5 senses to find something. 1. Find 1 thing you can taste. 2. Find two things you can smell. 3. Find 3 things you can hear 4. Find 4 things you can touch. 5. Find 5 things you can see. You can even put some into categories such as 5 things that are green 1 thing that tastes good 3 things that sound peaceful. I hope this helped a few of you!

I just want to tell my experience:
I got ADHD due to trauma when i was 6 years old to primary school where there was theachers that they used to punish you if you get distracted or if you don't understand the lesson, i was often distracted so i've been punished more than the others in my class; i've developed a sense of fear about every one, in particular about the adults.
Fortunately i went in another primary school, where the teachers and my classmates was the complete opposite compared to the previous school;
After 6 months of hell and various visits to the psicologyst, after that, i improved my memory, orginise myself better and bacame more extrovert, confident in my choises and patient.

I had a light ADHD when I was a child and didnt grew up from it. I was diagnosed along with dislexy and disgraphy when I was little, but doctors said it might be one of sideefects of my inborn neurological problem - AMV - alongside with epilepsy. Since childhood I wasnt good at concentrating at things I didnt care about, but because I was curious and understood things well, I got throw 10 grades of school without much problem and got even throw the rest and got my highscool diploma. I still have a problem managing my shedule and need external stimulations to be able to do things, but alarm on my phone takes that role.

I'm gonna be honest here, this video almost described me exactly! Especially the one with the teachers. Teachers in the past have always gotten so frustrated with me, but sometimes I'll just zone out and jump around and I feel like I can't control myself. Once I zoned out so much that I almost got lost on one of the field trips at summer camp. I've been like this since I was like a toddler. Haven't been diagnosed, and I'm kind of too nervous to ask my doctor about it.

As someone who takes pills for ADHD, I can confirm that it prevents me from being able to sense any signs of hunger or Thursday, so I dont gain a lot of weight and that is very unhealthy. Can affect my health and really bad way Ive been talking to my paediatrician about this and she says well then you might need to go in a lower dose. As I did. Another thing is, it really impacted my blood circulation, and I was at risk for being diagnosed with Reynauds disease

Man I have ADHD and it affects my life so much! Thank you for making this video so people know more about it! It helps more than you know. Personally, Ive been on medication my whole life. Ive gone through every kind there is, but none of them are as effective as they used to be. My friends with ADHD also had bad experiences with ADHD medication, and some research suggests that medication can become ineffective after a certain amount of time

What should I do Im an 11 year old girl and Im not saying That Im self diagnosing myself but Ive researched rlly hard and Im just thinking what if I have adhd I have all the symptoms but Im too scared to tell my parents and please them to go to the doctor to see if I actually have it. Its a lil problem cause I cant go by my self, and it can be a little too late if I go see a doctor as an adult. Really what should I do?

The person I talked to said I most likely have adhd, then my teachers answered the paper questions very badly like, they said I dont fidget or I didnt nail bite. Now theyre unsure of what Ive got so thats nIcE.
Update: they think its all added on anxiety so thats just lovely. So anyway, please stay safe and get help if needed. Remember, asking for help isnt giving up, its refusing to give up.

I struggle a lot in class with ADHD but only my friends know my friends know I have it. I get told to pay attention more when we are going over how to work out the problems and stuff but even then I zone out and every! What I like to do to help is talk to my friends about it and see what they can do to help before getting help from the counselor at our school: )

I was diagnosed with ADHD, and I can agree with this video. teachers shouldnt punish the younger children with ADHD. I found it a little easier to control once I got older, but it may just be me. However, I would love to see more teachers to be more easy with children with ADHD and more parents to deal with ADHD a lot better.

I've been diagnosed with adhd since a young age and struggled with focusing and learning. Thanks to my parents I'm able to learn though it's difficult to focus, I find other ways to keep my eyes on the board. Medication isn't always a good route for me so i chose therapy.
