I'm going to shower you with attention and my awareness. I'm going to give you a lot of my time. I'm going to be in physical proximity to you. I'm going to touch you, hold you, cuddle you. I'm going to try to connect with you physically, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually. I'm going to take good care of you. I'm going to care about your needs. I'm going to help you to meet your needs. I'm going to help you to survive. I'm going to shelter you from excessive suffering, fear and trauma. I'm going to have your back. I'm going to defend you and be loyal to you. I'm going to take on your agenda as my own. I'm going to make you an extension of me. I'm going to treat you as well as i would treat myself. I'm going to be happy for you when you succeed. I'm going to want for you what you most want for yourself. I'm going to sacrifice for you and work on your behalf. I'm going to support you nurture you and encourage you. I'm going to cheerlead you. I'm going to encourage your self-exploration, self-expression and self-actualization. I'm going to respect your sovereignty as a consciousness. I'm not going to try to manipulate you, control you, dominate you or exploit you. I'm going to totally accept you and never judge you. I'm going to value you for your sake and appreciate you and see your intrinsic beauty. I'm not going to need anything from you and I'm not going to make you a tool to satisfy my own needs. I'm going to respect your point of view, wanting to understand your point of view, wanting to understand you, your uniqueness, taking the time to deeply get to know you. I'm not going to force my agenda or point of view on you. I'm going to listen to you and care about your interests and share similar interests with you. I'm going to develop togetherness with you and collaborate with you. I'm going to be there for you when you're down and hopeless. I'm going to be there for you when you're lonely. I'm going to validate your feelings, sharing your emotions with you, empathizing with you. Your pain is going to be my pain. I'm going to meet you where you're at, at your developmental level. I'm going to forgive you for your mistakes.
I'm going to be patient with you. I'm going to see the good in you even when you don't see the good in yourself. I'm going to be generous and kind. I'm going to give you verbal approval and praise. I'm going to compliment you on your uniqueness. I'm going to keep my promises to you. I'm going to keep my peace with you, avoid conflict with you. I'm going to tell the truth to you. You're going to be able to fully trust me and I'm never going to cash in on that trust. I'm going to see your realness, warts and shadow and all as you truly are. I'm going to deeply appreciate the finite portion of consciousness that you are and I'm going to accept your selfishness whenever you have the urge to be selfish. Now ask yourself on a scale of 0 to 10 how loved do you feel? Open Your Eyes.

My distancing complex leads to friend-zoning everyone. To be honest its much more comfortable that way as Id rather have a friend than a future ex. Any feelings of attraction I may have at first are quickly diminished as I then start thinking this person is too cool, theyd be an awesome friend but I dont mean to make the other person feel less self-worth because the way I see it is that friends are ultimately deeper than romance.
Also, Im terrible at reading signs of attraction. Oftentimes I have no clue about someones intent when talking to me (I just assume theyre being friendly. My anxiety tells me that people are joking around when the flirting signs are more obvious. The idea of me being with someone right now scares me. Ultimately I feel like Im not cut out for being with anyone as Im not hung up on any ex at all but I am hung up about the way things have gone in all of my past relationships. Whenever Ive been with someone new Ive tried to let go of negativity from previous relationships but when red flags started showing all of the anxiety came back around.

1. Acting cool and distant - 0: 16
The less people notice you, the less attractive theyre likely to find you.
2. Acting clingy - 0: 57
If someone feels forced to see you, theyre less likely to like you.
3. Acting as if you dont like your date all that much - 1: 37
If someone feels like you like them, theyre more likely to be nice to you, and thus the relationship is overall better. But if they feel like you dont like them, theyre more likely to be mean, and the relationship will suffer.
4. Revealing too much, too soon - 2: 21
The less you know about someone, the more youre on their mind.
5. Going on boring dates - 3: 04
The more fun the date is, the more fun your date is likely to see you.
6. Using cheesy pickup lines - 3: 47
Most strategies worked for men being approached by women, but most women preferred direct.
7. Not having a wingman or wing woman - 4: 28
Having friends around shows that youre nice enough to have friends.

I disagree with the wingman part. I've never used one, and I've had plenty of relationships that lasted more than a few months! I am honest and don't spout off cheesy pickup lines, or go to bars, or clubs to meet women either! Nor do I do online dating because you can meet good people at school, work, or social events! Best just to be yourself and if people don't like you for you then they're not right for you anyway. Don't just jump from one relationship to another though, give yourself adequate time to absorb and heal. Learn from your choices and mistakes so you can be a better you with the next person! Forgot to mention, but this should go without saying: DON'T CHEAT on your partner! If you don't want to be with them anymore than don't be, or if it's carnal desire then break up with your partner it's that simple! No one likes to be betrayed by anyone, especially not by someone they trusted with their heart.

LOL I love boring dates and corny jokes. The videos about Introverts probably say more about what I'm into. Exciting date? No, thanks. I'll take coffee and books with some classic Jazz, and save the fireworks for the bedroom.
reply

So i need to show up, but not too up in their face, show them im interested, but also be mysterious, make sure they have excellent dates, good pickup lines, show them my introvert self has friends. This person better be worth it
reply

Don't act clingy. but also don't act like don't like your date. It's almost like you're trying to win over a totally irrational person who's made up her mind about you after looking at you for three seconds.
reply

It doesnt matter what I do I am never good enough for these women trust me I did everything right said everything right they just think their better than me. I give up its really not that bad being alone.
reply

Hmm idk, I'm someone who likes nice guys. I just don't get liking someone who is cool and distant. I'm one who thinks couples should be two halves of a whole, so I don't really believe in clingy ness.
reply

My wingman? I have an albatross. The exact opposite. Tells everyone your bad sides.
Heh just kidding hes a wing man, and Im his. Mutual agreement bond built over years of experience.

reply

My crush wasnt nicer to me even when I was nice to him. So I thought he was ghosting me. But I recently found out that he is in so love with me, and he was afraid that I might not like him.
reply

No wonder I make girls fall for me, but then I either get too distant or too clingy due to my self esteem. Now I just outright dont bother, just focusing on my own goals _
reply

acting cool and distant isn't the same thing as procrastinating
Also, acting cool and distant is probably one of the most attractive things out there to most people

reply

i just want someone who cares about me as much as i care about them and wont forsake me and betray me wheres all the real ones to hell with all these fake ones
reply

Never know now. Who could long term hurt you. Or will betray and competition. Even ex communicates before you possible one foot in. Its soo too much aggravation.
reply

this would all be useless if you're attractive on the outside, they don't look at the personalities instead they look at how handsome nor beautiful you are.
reply

How do I not overshare? It's so hard especially when im first meeting someone and we either have nothing to talk about or the conversation is getting boring.
reply

Nice so I Will just mantein my stetegy of never ever talk to anyone I have crush for, staying alone hurts less them being judge and rejected
reply

Ok bye I do everything and I cant stop so. also I find people I relate to attractive so technically they have all these traits too
reply

Oh you guys want someone. Weird good fictional characters only attract me they are way more better than the real people
reply

Wait the thumbnail. and that ginger hair girl and the familiar color of the socks in her shirt. You look just like.
reply

Frustration. Love and music was once soo easy. Now worried about are they predatorial. At first glance or soon to be.
reply

Basically, just be more Kind, Chill and you need to project your Voice more. And most importantly smile.
reply

What's the point of trying to find how to look less attractive? isn't that antispychologically healthy?
reply

Confusion. I hate that feeling. Say what you mean. Mean what you say. Then one thing will lead to another.
