people should not go out and think about this video when there in a relationship this video I guess does have a lot of good points but its also setting this like image of a perfect relationship and relationships are not perfect and relationships shouldnt be bad either im not saying that its just that sometimes when you and that person go through something together and that something is bad it could be wonderful afterwards and make you stronger and I feel like the whole soulmate thing is weird and that we have good and bad people in our lifes for a reason because no matter what everyone good or bad is gonna teach you a lesson and when you find someone or watever dont look at this video and try to compare to your relationship also you should listen to this video because it does have a lot of good point doesnt rlly make sense but just have a balance of thinking this video is dumb and also thinking this video is good. ps dislike I could be acting like a Karen but I dont think you should be setting up this perfect image of a relationship no relationship good or bad is perfect

Yeah idk if I agree with this video. Especially the understanding each other emotionally, being able to read their mind and tell what they need when they need it. Everyone handles stress and trauma differently, everyone has their own painful pasts that impact how they act today. Thats the beauty of humanity. Being able to learn over time what that person needs from you and what you need from them is more realistic than anything. I do agree that being with someone and them being your escape from the stresses of life is a good sign, but you can find that in normal friendships lol. Being with someone is a lot of work, not all of it comes naturally. And just because it doesnt come naturally, doesnt mean theyre not your soulmate. Its the ability to understand something is wrong and when life gets hard, you come to each other in a healthy way, and if you can work through it, then you can start questioning if theyre your soulmate in a positive way.

Meet my soul mate when he was 17 we got together but he got married at 21 we went on seperate past of life he always call my momask about me when got in my 40 he sent son to my apartment get address so could write me as years went on we got together I was 46 and had 14 yrs together he died in 2020 of February in my arms iam going to therapy now suffer with PTSD I really loved him. Now single and every day I go on as blessing to take care of my daughter. But I miss so much I've know him so long good side and bad we accept each other no matter what we really loved each other I know see him again in heaven but until then life goes on loving someone unconditional is gift from Christ. I cherish those memories always

as nice as finding your soulmate seems, we should never forget, that a relationship isnt just always sunshine, not all has to be perfect all the time for a happy relationship and some work needs to be put in
my point is, dont get lost chasing the perfect, if you have the good right in front of you and just need to give it some attention and effort to make it grow
the points in the video are pretty good, they just gave me the idea that people could missunderstand it to justify backing out as soon as something doesn't seem perfect
I feel like I personally have my soulmate but it's still an active choice to try and make it work the best we can every day and it's so worth it

Sad to say, but have to dislike this one, it's setting up unrealistic expectations. What matters most is approaching the relationship with understanding, commitment, and effort. People shouldn't expect to end up in a Disney relationship, which we only ever see a couple minutes of in the first place. Lost my first relationship, of nearly 5 years because she was looking for this soulmate ideal, despite the fact we still love each other, talk for hours, have great intimacy, and have similar goals. The presence of imperfections (at all) undid all those things which are truly what matter long term.

It has been the biggest struggle. I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years for multiple reasons. However, he wants us to work on ourselves so that we can get back together, but I dont know that I want to. Our relationship never felt easy and natural to be around him. To this day I find it hard to communicate with him cause Im just not comfortable telling him how I feel. Its very much him feeling he found the one and I dont think I feel the same. Hes always been one to never give up on a person especially me, but sometimes it really feels like were not on the same page about a lot of things.

Permanece requires forgoing these constructs in lieu of ones own reality. Perhaps this is why everyone turns to these videos. I felt like I had to put on an act and never show my flaws with a certain guy, and it just made me miserable. If you ever find yourself thinking If only I did this or were more like that, so-and-so will stay with me, thats an indication that theyre not meant for you. Your soulmate will love you for the real you, warts and all.

After watching this video one thing became clear. I definitely don't have a soulmate. I don't even think God has a plan for me to have a soulmate either. I tried a few times but had absolutely no luck and so I'm trying to find a way to move on in life in accepting that some things aren't meant for you even if really desire it. I'm trying to think of all the pluses of being alone and content with life as is.

Yes, I have found! I didn't expect it at all. When it all started I was questioning myself who that person is and if he is to the good or bad. After we spent a lot of time together, I realized she really understands me deeply, as well as I do. At least I try my best and she says I'm okay doing it. And her request kind of separated me from my family but kind of brought forward something that I found traumatic so I kind of think it was a good thing at least for a while. soulmate is just an idea, at the end of the day, if you really have a connection with somebody and you like them and you can enjoy your time, why does it matter if they're a soulmate. no person is perfect and this expectation is unreal, at the end of the day life is a choice.
