LDR doesnt affect anything. Me and my husband dated for 4 years LDR, 18 hours flight distance and 6 hours time zone difference. We didnt like phone calls but we texted every single day for 4 years strictly. We never spent a day without texting (not whole day texting tho but staying in touch throughtheday. We sent voice messages daily and photos of little things like flower that we saw on the road etc. We had a rule when we have coffee time alone we always chatted sent photos of cafe's/ coffee's.
I'm an attorney he is an architecture also own and run a gym; basically we were busy people. It's not like we kept in touch just we had time. It was just we always had time for each other.

People find LDR hard because they fall in love with the person's skin. When you love his/her soul it doesnt matter how far she/he is or how offen you can see her/him.
I shared my story for those who's experiencing same things. If you really love her/his soul you'll be able to manage that relationship as long as it needs but if you are struggling that means you loved the skin not the soul.
Right now I am most grateful person I believe, we both are. That's how you value your significant other if you overcome LDR after 4 years. Every second I spent with him is magical.

My situation is kinda different. I started my first ever relationship as online LDR and it lasted for 7 years. It was during my school times. We broke up. They were visiting me 3 times a year for few days. Now I'm in LDR again but we started living together almost immediately after I confessed. We lived together for 6 months under the same roof but series of unfortunate events forced me to go to family home in different country to get a good doctor, also I didn't get government accepted in his country to stay there. Now we're separated but he visits me every month and I'll be able to visit him if I'll get a job. It's way harder than my first love because now I understand that distance should be a temporary thing and not everything and having someone close is the best ever. The amount of love I got from them keeps me going and in a year we'll live together again somewhere else

Been in an online relationship for four-five years and just met him sometime last year in November: ] it does get hard doubts can really get to you being in love with someone but only being restricted to calling and texting can b excruciating. overthinking can be hard to avoid when all that distance between you guys can make you anxious my number one tip for anyone who is in a ldr is to COMMUNICATE. As ironic as that is make sure you keep each other supported with any and all concerns you might have and just remind yourself and your partner that it will be worth it in the end. As long as you guys truly love each other there should be no issue with meeting. Just make sure when you guys plan you plan wayyyy before hand so that your not overwhelmed or scrambling to adjust your schedules for each other last minute

Currently in one now and it's hard, she's a fantastic woman an legitimately one of if not one if the kindest most loving people i have ever met and i strive to be like her, of course after over a year of not seeing her except through a screen i will naturally have my doubts that bother me such as if I'm missing out on other relationships, or if i have found the one or if I'm missing something, and it really bothers me. But then i know just how much we love and support each other and honestly think that it can't get much better than her!

When I try being open and honest with my bf about how I'm feeling, he says I'm spiraling and says he's going to ignore my texts and check out for a while. We had talked about the importance of be vulnerable and honest even when it's not what the other wants to hear, and then he does this. Long distance relationships are difficult, and I do not recommend them if you are looking for a fulfilling relationship with someone special. It's best to cut your losses, be grateful for the time you did have together, and move on with your life.

Funny how i overcame my long distance realtionship challenges. We were about to breakup. Both of us held grudges. But then i accidently found this couple quiz game. I think its called lovify. Its a 2 round game, first you answer then your partner has to guess. Got to know my partner well. Maybe sometimes we are just finding reasons to break it and not to save it. All LDR couples, trust me when you finally get to meet, Its gonna be awesome: )

It was albeit with no doubt, the first few weeks, I was so distraught if this will even work but I decided not to dwell in all those feelings but rather look on the better view on how we could make this work. So after settting out boundaries and discussing about it, our relationship is going just fine.

Been in a LDR for a year and half now, been trying to immigrate to where she lives but got ripped off got too many obstacles in the way, still never doubted never got jealous we both stayed loyal we both swallowed our sorrows, but it feels the more i walk this path the longer the road gets ten fold. I dont even feel my pain anymore. Im just getting tired of keeping her waiting.

Could you do a video on long distance relationships but having never met the person in person cause you met online first. So you don't have any physical interaction to tie yourselves together and make the bond stronger, which just makes it super hard and challenging.
