Its amazing how accurate all of these are because its true, and I have all of them
1: i get tired at the end of the day even tho I only just do is my studies and nothing else
2: my parents would have to remind me to eat breakfast or drink water every hour because I'm too immersed with what I'm stressing at (mostly studies, and extra curricular activities I do)
3: I mean my studies are doing good or atleast I think it is. My performance when it comes to do house chores or simple things are going down hill and I'm recently getting scolded for that
4: I've been more sensitive than ever, I stress out or get mad at simple inconveniences and if its too much I just cry
(Then my mom&aunt saves the day and make everything better: ,D)
5: there is never a time I'm not like this
6: I ghosted my friends for almost 3 months (before and after school started)
7: I feel hopeless in a lot of things
Sorry for going off like that. have an amazing day everyone and stay safe: ,>

probably the reason for my emotional burnout is because, after I got over my past, and finally moved on, and finally feeling happier with myself and whats to come, I get dragged down by my parents often now. they tease and make fun of me. and the more they teased and made fun of me, the more I felt down and my happiness went down with it. to the point where I just feel like I cant even anymore. I told my parents so many times to stop talking about it, and to stop teasing and making fun of me. but they kept going, so now I just feel burnt out, my motivation is gone, and I feel fatigued and tired all the time, and even tho I used to like doing my hobbies, and I did them all the time, I keep feeling fatigued and tired even tho im not doing anything. and I just keep feeling so tired, I try to take naps and fall asleep. tho I'll try in a second to play BeatSaber VR, and try to get a bit of excercise.

How many signs do you relate to?
For all intents and purposes, I can definitively relate to all seven of the main points discussed here in a number of ways. This is a major reason why I am very seriously considering taking a year-long 'vacation' from my undergraduate education so that my brain (and the rest of my body) can attempt to recover from an enormous amount of psychological and physical stress. As that is happening, I also plan to try reestablishing some of my old habits and even establish new ones, with the help of my psychologist, in order to help me to be more productive and get good grades when I get back to completing my Bachelor's degree.

I am an hsp and its HONESTLY very draining and exhausting. Its soo hard to deal with and make it a superpower. I cant get anything done, it really demotivates me to keep going sometimes. I do feel really down lately and restless. I get overwhelmed really easily and suffer multiple mental breakdowns in ome day. Sometimes i am just done with everything and dont see the point of moving forward if i keep falling backwards and cant get my life together. Its very discouraging

I feel Im am very burnt out because of my job. Ive been there 21 years and the work continues to get harder and Im mentally drained every day. This has made me physically exhausted to where I need a long nap every evening as soon as I get home. I dont feel like doing activities on the weekends either because I get tired after doing simple tasks for a couple hours. I cant seem to ever get rested. I am very much considering a major change.

i never really considered myself too be burnt out but i deeply relate to every single point except for #6. my friends are the only thing keeping me going (i dont talk to my family about anything. however i dont want to use it as an excuse to be lazy and not do anything productive because i would feel guilty. i also dont want others to feel bad for me. my problems are my own and i dont want anyone else to feel burdened by them

I was doing so well in school but I feel my performance is declining, and because of that my parents are very disappointed in me because of my falling grades. I feel disappointed in myself to, and I dont know what to do- I already feel like giving up and dropping out but my parents would hate me even more for not being able to graduate so I just. try. I just want to sleep all day- where I dont have to worry about anything-

I was burnt out or should I say depressed? but I started to take care of myself and now I'm kinda okay, but still it hurts that my parent's doesn't even give a shit about my mental health, they keep making me stressed and they think I'm a robot, who can do whatever you tell them without getting tired or anything.

CW food: Ive been avoiding food and skipping meals for a few months now. I dont eat til after noon, i very rarely have breakfast and tend to only eat 1-2 meals a day. Im not 100% why Im doing this but Ive just stopped feeling the need to eat and try to avoid it for some reason.

I've been in a shielding household for a year in a, remote village with my parents. They're unavailable emotionally and my Dad was, aggressive during the first lockdown. I can't do anything more through a screen now, I don't know what to do I feel so shut down and no one sees.

I've been diagnosized with depression a few years ago, but almost all of the emocional burnout consequences mentioned in this video are very familiar to me.
How are depression and emotional burnout related to one another?

I don't have a temper any more I just leave it all. I'm trying to sort things out but it's so hard to bother. I help others but leave myself, it's what I was taught a long while ago and hard to alter.

Ive worked with a number of people struggling with bur out syndrome. Trust me - its not easy to get out of it. It takes months of therapy. Its better to prevent it.

When we start showing some of these symptoms, does it mean we HAVE to go to a professional? Or is it possible to treat it ourselves?
