Without trust, there can be no communication, intimacy, respect, honesty, or emotional connection. Its only a matter of time before all our relationships start falling apart. So, how do you know who you can trust and who you cant? Weve made this video on the types of people you should never trust to make it a little easier for you. Reminds me of a friend that I recently had to ditch after knowing him for nearly 8 years. We are both 15 nearly 16, so thats half our lives. But he changed into an untrustworthy person. He used to be a good friend too, and we have gone through so many great and horrible things together. I wont go into everything that happened, because its complicated and long. But, please, take the advice in this video. Having an untrustworthy companion is much more hurtful and serious than it seems. It won't be easy to pull the plug on your companion, but as I've learned, you gotta suck it up because things WILL get worse! It was extremely difficult for me to let my friend go, but I had to

Sometimes i face these problems in my high school, i have this one friend i made we are not that close since she is always surrounded. But i myself being a very keen observer i have noticed that she is two different people, with others she loves to roast people make people laugh and preety gullable at times. But with me she is moody, giving the whatever atitude, and always so rude, other times she is nice and she somehow gives me this ghostly feeling. my high school life is not living to its fullest, even though i am more popular than her. Popularity is not my priority

My best friend is #3, #4, #6, and #7. She treats me poorly all the time and every time I try to tell her how she treats me she immediately turns around on me and everything is my fault. Recently I overdosed because she made me so depressed and wouldnt listen to me on how shes treated me my entire life. I was like well nobody cares so whats the point of being around. When my mom told her I was in the hospital Bc I did that she didnt ask me if I was ok, nor did she ask me if I was even alive. We love to see it.

Damn, I can't trust myself then, didn't know I would relate to 3, and maybe 4
Though, about 3, when you put it like that example it really does sound evil, but every other self help book I've read, like The Four Agreements and The Subtle Art treat this as you're responsible for your own emotions, and I felt this as true to a certain extent, especially when you're not directly doing anything to the other person, no? It's kind of a gray area, as many of these things are.

Spreads secrets, whether true, or worse, not true.
Talk badly about others (you could end on the receiving end of this)
People who lack self awareness - aka clueless or willfully selfish
Lack empathy (see all of the above and probably all that follow) manipulative!
Cant make up their mind - flakey, flighty, flip flops, not reliable
Wont take NO for an answer! Manipulative.
Two-faced/ public v private; never 100% real.

Upon Seeing this video again-- I have come to the realization that these are the number of people no longer in my life. I didn't realize this until over time it became apparent this was the case. My consistent behavior upset them and cause them to project onto me all the faults they themselves would never face. I am far from perfect, I don't have all the answers and at least I try to be as authentic as I possibly can in all situations.

One thing is clear. I may have change my personality when I'm with my friends, best friend and when I'm with a stranger. Of course, I'm not very talkative when I'm talking with a stranger whom I just met, and I'm rather formal, and respectful towards them. But when I'm with my best friend, I feel like I can express myself without judgement. When I'm with my friends, I get along with them, but not as hype as when I'm with my best friend.

i cant trust my older brother. he always asks me for stuff and he usually seems to need it. a lot of times i cave in and let him get his way but once i realize what ive done its to late. many other people have relation ships like this and sometimes they can be hard to stop. if you cant get this to stop then sometimes you have to do things you dont want to do like just ending the relationship or friendship.
reply

Well I've got across the one several months ago. and even if though we make up for it and start over. it end up badly i finally saw her true colours by behaving bad to me and immediately behaving sweet to other one and then even asked me why am I mad? I snapped the same coin to her and she was so surprised and stopped contact with me. sadly she started gossip me around
reply

I dont show my true self in public, I dont do it as a manipulative thing however. Im very introverted but when Im around people I try to be as extroverted as possible so people can have fun. Is this a good way to live, definitely not. All my friends/family know I do it (they have seen me just go suddenly quiet during an activity and Ive told them about it)

Psych2Go For the record, though, A LOT of people have spent their entire lives getting bullied for being themselves around the wrong people. Its not always worth it
Like, literally, I have TWO people that I can be 100% myself with. Literally everyone else in my life, strangers, family, and friends, would probably never speak to me again

This is just a passive trade of Sigma, We adapt to blendon and fit into every situation that we're in, We can rarely be ourselves unless we are buy ourselves, But this is just part of who we are This isn't intentionally putting on a mask this is just us being like water, taking the shape of the glass that were poured into.

reply

Maube this falls under 1 of the 7 but i stay away from people who are confrontational
Occasional disagreements are healthy because no 2 people are exactly alike.
Someone who constantly challenges your ideas or views to create friction rather than healthy discussions will increase their need to fight or argue over time.

reply

I can relate to the last 4 of them except one I find coworkers, old friends now my enemies, and family acting like this I've been around this type of behavior for the majority of my life and I find this video quite interesting it confirms and defines more of the people I encounter on a day to day basis
reply

I'm indecisive most of the time but I value trust, I don't change plans with a friend in the last minute because I hate last minute changes and I don't want them to experience that.
I experienced trust break before and I hated it so I would never dare to break someone else's trust.

reply

Interesting you bring up people who can't make up their minds. That can be part of many different disorders, its not necessarily because they have something better on offer, its because they are battling inner demons that are controlling them to stay in a very tiny comfort zone.
reply

In order tbh A I dont trust people really at all &b I have acted differently around certain people &still do but I still have empathy. I always feel as if everything bout me totally hurts people &i have to disappear in order for things to be normal &cofortable.
reply

Once wrote a personal letter to my ex-husband apologizing for my lack of empathy, taking blame for our breakup. He showed it to a mutual friend. I know because she told me he shared it with her. Any remaining trust I had with him went out the door. That hurt.
reply

That empathy one I had a friend like that who only used me never cared about me, that friend got more marks in test using my knowledge and my brain and I got low marks becoz of her becoz she always used to keep be busy by telling other things
reply

Oh, several people from my past (distant and recent) fall into this list. and a couple share at least three of the things on the list. If you work in the broadcast or entertainment industry, you meet these kinds of people frequently.
reply

The first tattoo I got were the kanji for, Trust, Respect, Honesty & Sincerity.
I believe these 4 things are integral for building and maintaining healthy relationships, no matter the setting.
Cheers for the video.

Very helpful, it's like Psych2Go are my stay-at-home friends c:
Always giving me advice, which I don't often hear from others.
And I'm usually around people who I don't quite trust to receive advice in this way either

reply

I'm not really sure about the lack of empathy one.
I definitely lack empathy but i would never straight up stap them in the back.
(unless they're a douchebag that i anyway only befriended to do that)

reply

Actually It's feels like a gift when lack empathy (for me, no need to feel stress over people, u can't even understand how they feel, or u does know it but u don't feel anything; -;
reply

I'll cut to the chase. You can't trust ANYONE! You might think _this_ person is different. She's not, and you'll only end up hurt in the end. Trust no one and you'll be much better off.
