I don't have any irl friends anymore, unfortunately. I had old ones from high school, who I was happy, at first, to reconnect with after some years apart. (I was in a bad relationship at that time, with controlling jerk) I was really happy at first. But after three years of trying with them, that reconnection proved to be a failure.
They put all their significant others before me. Or they would blow me off, even my one good friend who was also single. They often went to events and failed to invite me. :-(
The last straw was when they didn't invite me to their 2020 New Years celebration. (Which turned out to be a $#+ year anyhow) But I had had it from them! >: O And none of them since realized I moved out of state. I didn't bother to inform them. but it isn't like I ever heard from them at all during the pandemic. None of them asked about my well-being. And I don't reach out to them anymore either.
Meanwhile, my real best friend is from Germany. We're both imperfect and have had our struggles, but we also know eachother left and right and care a lot. And another is from Michigan. We have so much in common and it's like we've been best friends all along. Another now from Slovenia, I am becoming close to. She is so kind, understanding, and gives the best advice. __
And I all I met them online, through Twitter's Mavel fandom. Say all you want about online friendships, but these friends are waaayy better than the ones I ever had irl! And I even met my friend from Germany once when she visited me in the US, in New York, for a play of our favorite actor, Tom Hiddleston. I will never forget it our time together!

It takes around half an year to feel comfortable enough to show my true true colors. The last time ot took only 2 months, but he rejected seeing me outside of school to see me. He would have seen a more social and fun version of me.
The reason I am afraid of showing it: ihave been betrayed and hurt so often that I am afraid of making a deep friendship. Last week I got betrayed by a very close friend. Now I dont know if I wanna make new friends ever.
And the reason why I trusted him so fast is because he was me. He was the first guy I got befriended with. The reason: we instantly had a click, within a week we discovered why: we almost were the same person. I am just the more adult version of him, beter developed you might say.
We now took a break, cause we both dont really wanna end our friendship. He never had a friendship like he had with me, I never had a friend like him. But he hurt me. If you hurt me I usually never can forgive you, cause you crossed my boundaries, boundaries that are so unreachable that people dont even know that they exist. And he crossed them, by lying to me for 2 weeks long, I know something was off, but every time I asked about it, he said there was nothing. 2 weeks later he said that he didnt wanna hurt my feelings. That while he knows that lying hurts me more than anything else. He hurt me worse than I imagined

Nowadays it is really hard to find the friends with whom you can pin out all those 8 points together.
Plus, I totally agree on the last part. I have 2 friends that are like brothers to me and I don't need acquaintance but people that I can trust.
Regarding those 2 mentionned friends, they gets all the 8 points but one is the one I connected instantly when I met him. Fun fact: we were chasing pokemon with pokemon go (no AD intention here. The second is the one I known for more than 20 years. We don't talk to much by phone or message but whenever we see each other or do sports, it's like the friendship never changed. Just the years that have passed!
I wish everyone one could find those kind of friends. They're the best any human being could wish to have.

Nowadays it is really hard to find the friends with whom you can pin out all those 8 points together.

I wish i had these kinds of things. Why is it that i have no close friends? Or friends at all? How can you deal with having no friends at all, during the pandemic? I don't have any good friends. I wish i can make some good, not fake friends. Where can I make real friends during the pandemic? I am tired of being around people that hurt me. No more fake, toxic or negative people. I am sick of it all. I want real friendships, and not be left to suffer. I suffered enough pain already, and the social isolation fuels it even more. I wish i had all of these things listed in the video, and will do anything to end the burden of social isolation.

Friends are the chosen family is my favorite and its so true sometimes I feel like they give me more support than my actual family does Today is the day of my fathers death- and my mom is not the best at giving that kind of support because my family has a bad history with emotional support- she gets frustrated that she doesnt know how to help. so I turn to be best friend, her name is Zaiden, and she is always there for me no matter what! I adore her for being there when I need it, I can let my guard down to her and she is my shoulder to cry on. Im so grateful that I meet my BFF

I love the one about distance and time not destroying some friendships. Im german n I moved to shanghai 6 years ago n I have a friend who I kept close with even though we see each other once a year at best and rarely ever text cus I can't use like 90% of social media here n yet when ever I meet her she's super excited n when I told her I was moving back this winter we spent like 15 minutes just freaking out to each other
