I had two friends do the same kind of thing over a few years period. Starts with a really good friendship talking having fun and all that. Then they meet a partner. And basically they can't even say hi nada zip nothing when they get a partner. When they later break up a year down the road they come back. And basically all friendship we had is in the past. I don't feel the same kind of connection after basically getting ghosted. So yeah that's two friends down the drain. Thankfully it's far from common and the most important friends are loyal. But never ever let anyone take advantage if you.
It may sound rough but if you soil the rug with dirty boots. You get the honor to clean the rug of you call 1y later and be like he broke up with me blah blah blah. Well we havnt spoken on a year so how does that concern me now?
Friends are hard to find if they have to be loyal. Most are not. And your right in the back talk issue. If they can back talk exes friends or what ever. Your going to the the next headline as soon as they get mad.

Based on my most recent breakup with my closest friend:
1. One day they just suddenly stop talking to you
2. They suddenly are desperate to be close friends with another person
3. They make you feel like you are being used
4. They don't laugh with you anymore
5. They choose boys over you to laugh and talk to
6. They don't consider your feelings and just hurt you causally
7. They are kind and positive to other people, but show their true colours to you only. (Being mean, hurting you repeatedly and casually)
8. They force you to do things you don't like
9. When things don't go their way, they get moody and throw a tantrum
Guys, just remember, if they end your friendship with them without even clarifuing the reason, just don't trust them anymore.

My best friend MUHAMMAD is a fake friend bcoz he doesn't care about our friendship anymore its like I am the only one holding on to our friendship
He cancels our plans and bails out on me

Honestly this is kind of the last straw he doesnt know how it feels, he shows me his true colors and i for some reason try to repaint them.
I thought true friends are like stars there are not always with u but u know they are always there which now ik that he is the opposite and i would rather have

One of my current friends did this prank on me back in year 7 where her best friend didn't like me and was only pretending to be nice to me because of her. Then she told me she couldn't be my friend anymore. I started crying so I put my hood on and then she pulled it off and saw that I was crying. She instantly got her phone out and and started recording me crying. didn't even say sorry. the next day she showed her best friend the video and she said it's not funny to record people crying. I'm still friends with her but when I think of the other things she's done to me and her other friends, I don't know why I'm still friends with her.

1 2 and 10 were signs of a girl i tried to be friends with. And genuinely wanted to be friends at friends but then i started to develop feelings for her. And when i told her she started playing games with me. And i put up with it for a year thinking she would change. And maybe even start to see my value. But i was fooling to think that girls her age late 20's early 30's only value badboy looser's. And when those guy's get bored and move on then they want a nice guy. After they are used up and Damaged. No thanks i have more respect for myself than that. So the positive is i learned a valueble lesson from all this.

Sometimes it is hard because if you have another motive or are just in a position where you are the target to them, you can always just try to find something in them to be friends with and narrow yourself not to see that side of what they are doing.
Find overlap, you can still be part of yourself even if you need to hide a lot to do it.
It can be hard to find overlap if you both have to hide, then you can just play to each others' character(but this is reaching away from the title in the video.

I remember caring for someone so much, then they just put me aside and cared for a guy who treated her like shit. I was nice enough to invite her to meetups and I was there for her, then she just left me there. She just distanced away from me. When I started talking about it more and my honest feelings she seemed really annoyed and I began blaming myself, panicking.

The sad thing is, Im really REALLY senstive, have anger issues, and make online friends frequently. Bad mix, right? Because when I vent to one of them, or they make me upset, I tend to unfriend them, but before that: they say Im fake. :/
Edit: I also found out my irl best friend is super manipulative and fake! Yay!

to be honest i have mulltiple fake friends who arent the most intelligent (yeah they are dumb) so they use numbers to force me into situations where they enjoy and i suffer but still my loved ones force me to go out with them and i thought it was normal but now i realise that they are leeches thying to steel my suscees

My relationship with my friend is weird because I like hanging out with them even though I know they are using me. I am always making plans and inviting them but they arent inviting me to anything. They are using me so much to the point that its just normal. It sucks because we used to be really good friends.

Omg! This is so true. I have this kind of friends that really took a toll on me and family members did this to me. But they just get away, and get better life. where as, they kill me with making me look and sounds like I'm psychotic. I really curse her. Idiot.

Its actually difficult to say that your friends are fake, there are different ways. But some signs like your friend backstabbing you and doesnt care about you thats a fake friend. Some of my friends are like that.
