Mom Takes Out Her Pain On Her Daughter, Almost Regrets It Alison: The fact that this woman looks identical to my birth mother is bizarre. She cries just like her.
Edit: My birth mother was an alcoholic, and because of that, I had to spend years in foster care, as a baby and a kid. Me and my father had given her so many chances, even after I got taken away, but she just didn't seem to care.

Its really difficult to talk to my mom, because she points out all my flaws and failures. Lately Ive been struggling with my depression and I thought Id talk to her. That didnt go well. She wasnt listening to me. She turned things around on me, and said to me where were you when I had cancer? Your sister went with me to all my treatments. Where were YOU? I was 16 when she had cancer. I was in high school, fighting suicidal thoughts. Like, I thought thats what parents do, theyre there for you no matter what. But to her, her love is conditional. I have to EARN her love. I have to go through literal hell and back, just to hear an I love you from her. Know when the last time she hugged me was? Three years ago.

My mother was a mean drunk. She was mean when she was sober, too, though. My mom was a bar fly. She didn't drink at home. She always felt sorry for herself because her childhood wasn't what she wanted. I never bonded with her. She said she hated my father & didn't want to marry him. She died 7 yrs ago and I don't miss her at all. Don't let this be you. Take some time to think about it before you have kids. Wait for 2 yrs before you marry or make a commitment, and then be married for a while before you have children. One thing you'll want to know is how your partner handles stress and adversity. Do they have a bad temper? There should be a book called Things to think about before you have children.

This happened to me when I had my one son and I was pregnant my step dad left my mom and she became an alcoholic and she told me to get out because he helped me on a fine I had so I was walking the streets pregnant with a little boy trying to find a place to go. Later on I took it out on my kids once I realized I was doing that I apologized to them and stopped what I was doing only repeating what my mom had done to me. I realize we all hurt but our children should never have to suffer for our pain.

One of my mom's younger sisters passed away a month ago. We had the funeral, and the attendant huge family gathering, this weekend, and there were 2 positive cases of the 'Rona among those there, so we're mentally preparing for more family tragedies and our first 'Rona death(s) if that's what happens. So sad, so heartbreaking, and so relevant to this video. Thank you for anticipating my needs!

TW // death, abuse, violence
I remember that story of a mother and her child, the child took her lipstick and started writing on the mirror
The mom got so angry that she beat her child to death, after that she went up to the mirror and it said: I love you mom
I don't know if that stories true and if I told it correctly but that just came to mind when I saw the title

I understand it was hard for the mother to deal with her husband dying but the daughter didnt deserve how the mother treated her. she literally was so nice and got kicked out because she hugged her mom good morning the wrong way. The mom was also a mean drunk and was drunk most of the time during this film

This video made me cry as well.
Except it's with the relationship between me and my father
Sometimes I wish he could really see me and not someone he hates.
I know this would never happen but what can I say.
You can't change them but you.

I never ever liked my mother because she was more like a child a baby not a parent. She didnt know what she needed to know with 5 kids. She never raised me right. Narcissists

Oooh, I like this, you should do more short films like this. It certainly gives a lot more insight on what its like to go through something, I also love how realistic it it

I'm sorry
That's what I always wanted to hear from my parents.
Y is it so hard to say a simple sorry. I would forget all the things that happened.

Parents / you are human. Get help. Dont take it out on your children / like they are you parents or you punching bag. The hurt is forever.
