How coincidental!
Why I am Thinking of these topics Similar that you ALWAYS make a video about it?
so, here's some backstory:
met a friend online in a reunion fashion as someone on Quora who speaks on psychology and knows about MBTI [Myers Briggs type Indicator] I know I work well with INFJs, who are one of the rarest within the top 5% range. So, I had known this girl three years ago and she sometimes calls me things like Little Jack - I had been wondering if this was just a platonic form nickname or a more affectionate/affectionate-playful tone. But thinking about how INFJs are often parental figures in platonic and romantic relationships [but more often-than-not, romantic] I wondered if her motherly care was a telltale sign - as goes with getting along when I tend to click with these types of women who I get along with at first instance. the reason it didn't workout for most of them is a tale for another day. But what's important to know is YES, I really do get along with these types of girls - so I was thinking [once again], why is it that she says something like a bridge [in speech] like goodnight or take care with little jack - obviously she sees me as a child-like ENTP-A, as far as I'm aware with two tests and re-tests. It's clear that I am one. And I'm thinking this is a more romantic form affectionate-playful tone to lighten the mood of what I had been talking about [sickness, which has been causing me some worry, that I need to get help for as soon as possible]. All-in-all, I have love for her, she has been busy for school - and yes, I'm sure she has feelings for me too, she is an angel and we get along like butter on toast.

Hello there psych2go! I've been quite impressed by your content. It kinda helped me to explain what I feel to others as a patient having both schizophrenia and OCD. BTW. I got so traumatized and deluded by god and other religious facts(existing in my own mind) where I wasn't even allowed to reveal these facts to doctors or anyone else and consider myself sinful if I'd to betray or go against the compulsions or whatever. Could you please make a video comparing this condition with PTSD and healthier procedures that we should follow?
Example: - OCD intrusive thoughts vs blasphemy vs damnation, revelation numbers in ocd rituals, close relatives going to face problems because of lack of faith, revealing these can cause serious issues and so on.
I also suffered with really gory and other intrusive nightmares for a period of time and then started watching gore and get kinda addicted and now I'm not that much addicted but still I love horror genre as it kinda relieved me to face my problems but the problem is, it also caused some more people to leave me. Now I'm an atheist but by then I believed that god was doing that to me.

I have the impression that the problem with such materials is that if you need a film/book to analyze whether someone is giving you signals, there is a good chance that you are the one who has a crush on that person, so in his/her 5, 000 behaviors and statements over the course of a day you search for the one that would give you confirmation that he/she thinks this way about you too, and you ignore the other 4, 999. I think in general it's simpler: you either feel it or you don't feel it.

Thanks actually I do give signs and she reacts positively like smiling when I talk and allow intimacy but the thing is that we only talk in real life (we met once a week, and she is not that much interested when I talk to her in social media and after chatting for few minutes she doesn't check my message. so I'm kinda confused if she is interested or not or should I try any other way
(she is a shy girl and main thing to mention, she studies in a girls school)

Yes but also consider: it s also pretty normal friendly behavior for some, and it only really matters if the intent is there. I really don t change how I interact with people I m trying to build community with or think I might be falling in love with and I don t intend to. If there s no direct request to try dating or to be left alone then yeah. It s JUST friendly behavior and anything else is subconcious and nunya, sorrynotsorry lmao

Im autistic and eye contact is the worst. I know its a huge social cue and I wonder if thats why i struggle with finding footing in dating. Do i come off as disinterested? Also the fidgeting. Its usually just stimming or not being able to do so. Fidgetting is so normal for me that I can't think of a time i would have noticed anyone else doing it. I am confusion

Idk, I do this with my female friends, but im just trying to pick them up and compliment them. I love my friends and they deserve to hear compliments, given a good laugh, and given appropriate attention. But hey, call it what you want. If it makes my friends feel good about themselves and puts a smile on their face, you can call it whatever you like. =)

Only one point missing no one I ve ever had a crush on or feelings for has flirted, even microscopically back with me. Sure I ve been flirted with, but it s insignificant to me and disheartening to have never had my feelings reciprocated. I don t know if I ll ever experience that flirtation you can t stop dreaming about.

My crush would do the bunny ears behind my head (at my my school the bunny ears ment turn around and kiss me but this was his first year hear so I don't think he knew) and when I would turn around he would say hi bunny. We have a Christmas play and this year I was dressed as a deer so he said hi deer.

I genuinely love your videos! They are so relatable! I have a question. what can one text to their crush that they don't know that much; and how would they start their conversation? I have a crush, but I don't really know them. How should I text them?

To those of you wondering what to do if this is happening to you?
Play into it. Dance the dance, be playful back. Even if nothing comes of it at least it s experience for the future. Don t panic, don t worry. Just relax and have fun.

I just learned what tone indicators meant this year. Like /pla for platonic and /t for tease. We should normalize them more often. And if they are normal, then hell, I'd be able to tell what the hell's going on LMAO 3: 00

Why am I literally so bad at social cues lol. I can t tell when ppl are being passive aggressive most of the time or if anybody likes me. I even say things that are rude without meaning to. It kinda sucks but whateva

I mean I find it hard to take my eyes off her because she's just that amazing. then I'll just whip my head away when she looks over, even when we're sitting together, I don't wanna make it obvious.
