honestly I relate to type 4 a lot, and type 2! I can relate a little bit with all of the types, but i think i those 2 types are most accurate for me! I think Im pretty smart (i never took a real iq test, but this random one I took said i might have 105-120 iq (im in 6th grade), and I mostly get praise by my parents and some of my teachers, but most of my classmates hate me because of this. I was never really able to fit in with my peers, and my teachers try and make me feel like thats a good thing, but sometimes I just want to be able to relate to someone my age for once. This has kind of caused me to never really show my work, stay quiet in class, and rather do individual work. Even though I believe myself to have good self confidence, and Im able to sometimes prove that by not backing down in arguments, i still get really shy and scared when Im called to present my work or answer a question. Sorry this comment is really long but Im just hoping Ill be able to relate to someone -

I'm kind of the challenging one. I always like to playfully challenge my father and sometimes my friends. I've found my friends don't like this about me. I also don't feel very comfortable right now in my friend group, so I just tend to read at school, when I'm not in class, but also I don't want them to think I hate them, so I guess I still spend time with them. Luckily, I do have influences in my life. I love books and writing, I'm also like obsessed with One Direction. Those boys are one of the only things that are keeping me in school. But, I do love life and strongly believe life is beautiful. I'm just not yet in the right place for me. I'm still searching, y'know?

I surely am type one. It is true that I like to study, and I excel in them, those achievements (I recently got third place in a national essay competition) but I also feel quite under pressure. Once, there was a quiz going on in my class about nutrients and stuff and I did not do well in it. I didn't knew about many of the questions, and all the ppl of my team were looking at me for the answers. But I didn't knew them. I felt very sad, and I was wondering what my team and the others would be thinking about me. But then I realised that I can't possibly do everything.

type 1 hits me the hardest. I can't push myself to study if I don't Like the subject. studying something I don't like in order to get good grades is one of the worst experiences that I've ever had, and as I'm in university (especially when the stuff they teach is either stuff I already know, won't use in my career, or are taught very badly) I'm losing all motivation to study. If societal pressure didn't exist, and if we were progressive enough to offer jobs based on skills, then I'd absolutely drop out.

i personally have a double label type. i struggle with ADD, and as a result i tend to find it difficult to remember tasks, focus on them, and not zone out. I'll get low grades on tests, but in subjects i like, I'll score very high. when a test isn't involved, I'll get one of the highest scores in the class. it's mainly stress that causes my grade drop; i once got the highest score on the mock finals (98% on a 45 question test, but a but of a lower one on the real finals (78% on a 58 question test.

I relate to 2, 4, and 5. I really appreciate this video. I feel like whoever made this video has a real grasp on the actual intelligent s that is on earth. This video didn't make me feel better about myself by any means. I really appreciated this video because I say all the time almost everyone is smart. Your ability to recognize peoples intelligence is your ability to read people. I don't know how I came across this video but this is very interesting to me. Thank you for your content.

Im an American student in the GT (Gifted and Talented) program. I feel like i identify most with number 5, because I have really bad anxiety and it gets difficult to focus on certain tasks, even when Im not anxious. I feel like gifted kids are sometimes criticized because others think that they are smarter, and thats not true. Were not smarter than others, our brains just work differently, and in my case, faster than the students in normal classrooms.

Im not really any of these but there are allways people who are gifted in their own way so its not uncommon if someone is not one of these for me I usually think im not gifted even though im a very fast learner with this I sometimes even pretend that im good at something even though I just started doing it just because I was able to learn fast enough to be decent at it

I relate to the Double label one the most. I'm autistic and I'm currently at college full-time, its different compared to the supported environment I'm used to back at my old schools. So I'm not used to the fast paced studies. But I made it to my final exams now which is a surprise as I figured I'd get too overwhelmed (I did in some points of my studies.

Im a number 1. I finished this year second in my class, 3 points away from first. But then, I also feel connected to 5, as Ive always performed poorly in school (reading during lessons, eating in class, etc) and literally have the attention span of a goldfish. I would get tested for ADHD if my mom wasnt as cheap asf.

Everyone seems to want to be unique somehow, none of these so called gifted types seem like anything worth having to me, IQ is valued by the educated and under valued by the average and below. The success type you mentioned here will actually be a high IQ, success and IQ go together.

I relate to 1, 2, 5 and 6 a lot tbh. I can especially reflect on how some of these types of giftedness were more apparent during particular phases of my life, while some traits from the distinct types overlapping at other times. I probably relate to the 6th one the most

Im type two, constantly thinking outside of the box and questioning things that most people just go along with. I often feel that Im under appreciated, like Im not looking for praise (I can live without that) but for once in my life I want my creativity to be appreciated.

I relate to more types besides just 1-2. When I was younger I wanted to be a professional dancer and to have a baby brother or sisterIm a creative person and never had a favorite color as a child one thing I learned is: I marched to the beat of my own drum!

i'm a type 2 gifted person and an INFJ, and i feel sad at school. my teachers used to encourage me to put my hand up and answer questions, but when i became more eager and wanted to participate in lessons, teachers scolded me and reduced my confidence.

I've scrolled from a type to another during my life but the fifth one is not mine and I can say that I belong to the sixth one because even tough the authority is not always well-placed, I can sometimes try to understand why it's the case.

Double label and underground type. Terrible social anxiety resulted in me not wanting to be seen as smart. So I end up not trying in school but am bored all day but also I take difficult classes in hope of being able to engage

I am type 1 (successfull) and to be honest, there is really a lot of pressure from parents and even friends saying that you always score good and u shall and will score good this time as well and that creates a lot of pressure!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm finally starting to understand myself a little better. All this time, I thought I was lazy, but it turns out I'm just a Double Labeled type of gifted! Suck on that, Mr. Stevens!

I relate to types 5 and 6.
I'm dyslexic, but mostly I've done well, it's been a long time since I've sought out attention and I'm aware I'm a bit gifted, which is why I also feel that pull.

I'm the type that stopped caring, not because of anything related to recognition, but because I had other passions to follow and a horrible work ethic for that which doesn't interest me
