My latest examples of this is looking up the best way to watch my favorite Nickelodeon show on a streaming platform. I started watching it and had do many good laughs. Eventually I hit a point where my thoughts were saying similar things to 1: 02. They were also saying things like Why would anyone watch this or something randomly negative.
Then as I went to work on something that seemed fun to me from an idea I had, i eventually lost my mood, didn't want to continue working on it, then I just stayed up that night looking for videos like these. Then I teared up thinking about all the negative events that happened to me from many years ago to only months ago.
There are times when I say sorry for things I feel like I don't need to. It usually feels like it's my fault.
Every single day I dwell on my past mistakes, regrets, and failures. This is even worse with obsessive thoughts that make me feel I have to do something about these thoughts for them to go away. This is what makes it hard to sleep and be happy with no worries. I just blame myself by default.
I've been doing things that I think will help my life get better, like learning all of my passions, quitting my addiction, and trying to just be easy on myself. It's not easy and right now I don't see it getting easier, but I don't want to give up.

Ive dealt with 4 and 5 since I was young. I always have. My parents love me, and my life has always been good, so its difficult to say why Im like this. It might have something to do with the constant bullying that I experienced as a little kid, but I think it mostly has something to do with the over perfectionist side of me who hates it when I make the smallest mistake. If youre also like this, trust me, tell someone. It might be hard to properly explain it, so think it through and do whatever you can to clearly get your thoughts out. Once at least someone understands whats going on, it all wont get better immediately, but itll be easier in a sense that they know whats going on with you and you wont be dealing with this completely by yourself. If youre not ready or you dont think anyone will understand, thats fine, but dont just keep it bottled up or it will only become worse

What if other people have put labels on you, constantly saying you are this or that, and your actions meet this label so you believe it. When you try to break free and be more compassionate towards yourself and say different, those same people will put you down for it and just put that same label on you. Like, the label of you're lazy. you say, I'm sleepy or I just want to sleep in more or I don't want to get out of bed, but no, they just relabel you as lazy.
Criticizing yourself before others can. So when they do, you're prepared?
You struggle to believe otherwise and struggle to break free from labels others put on you.
Also, how can you work towards being more compassionate towards yourself without such labels as selfish, lazy or inconsiderate?

The Beatitudes
He said:
3Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

I have always hated the way I looked, my stomach is always bloated, I hate my nose, I'm to tall, and I just realized that the hatred of the way I looked became hatred of myself, I do say sorry to everything even when it's not my fault, and I have not had a good friend who supports and loves me, and I realized that yes those people were jerks, but how can I expect someone to love me, when I don't love me.

I struggled with differentiating between self love and grandiousity. But when I found that giving in to forgiving myself like I'd forgive a friend. The opposite happened, I started to trust other people. Trust that what they said they meant was the truth about me, trust that their compliments didint have Mal intentions. I realized how profound the view of myself had an impact on how I treated other people.

i knew this is for me definitely the two essential components of confidence is having self trust and self respect still learning to love myself have been struggling with self love since i was 20 but im still learning up till now im 26. and i do see a little progress in me but still i want to reach a point where i feel so comfortable being alone and doesnt envy when people around me having partners

You dont love yourself is victim blame. Others who warn us about our duty to forgive are virtue signaling. You can say whatever you like, and I dont have to listen, and I probably wont, because -victim blame, but please try to understand that the very fact that we are listening to this abuse, belies the fact that that we do love ourselves at least enough to have made it this far.

I definetly didn't loved myself.
After I watched this video, I can see, that I am making very good progress in loving myself. Now I can see, that this things were a part of me, but mostly not anymore now.
In most times it's hard for me to see that I am successful in my therapy.
A video like this let me see clear, that I am growing.

Even though I had a good childhood and mostly had caring and loving people around me, I always struggled with the lack of self love and with self-loathing. I feel like I have no right to feel like this, which makes the self hatred even worse. I joke about me, my insecurities and my struggles on the daily and I just cant get away from it.

she suggests getting to the bottom of what your fears are by asking yourself what you're really scared of.
I suddenly started having a panic attack when she said that I was like I don't want to start thinking about what I'm scared of I want to think about that stuff makes me scared

I do have toxic habits, because i don't love myself, i remain in bed all day, don't drink, don't eat properly, don't take care of myself. The only productive thing i do is hang out with my boyfriend, that's all. But my weight, my aspect, the way i look. It just bother me

Second guessing every aspect of my life. check
I've never loved myself.
I doubt I ever truly will.

reply

#5 is something i really struggle with. I used to be really good at deciphering stuff and adapting quickly. But now I second guess everything and just give up, I only think surface level and never really tried to think deeper anymore.
reply

I actually apologize way too much, not because I lack self love, but because I like the words I'm sorry and apologize. Doing my best to train myself out of it, though it's not easy to stop using words I like!
reply

I would never have wanted to know myself under these conditions.
But as for hating myself, why should I do that as opposed to feeling the deepest compassion for the very victim that I truly am?

reply

What if this is the natural state or humans and the struggles we all share are what we are here to overcome. what if every one feels the same way but most are too insecure to admit it?
reply

Heyyy! Thats really too relatable. Can you also make a video of how to cover these self critic habits and become more confident about oneself. How to develop self love basically?

I don't love myself because I think myself as a ugly insect who don't deserve to live. Sometimes I think that I should die then be alive in this crule world
reply
