Are you experiencing anxiety? Aside from its mental symptoms, anxiety also produces a roster of physical symptoms such as insomnia, fatigue, and muscle tension. Most people pay more attention to the physical symptoms as they are easy to identify. As a result, people tend to treat the symptoms rather than the underlying cause

I have a fear of hearing sirens.
I immediately get an anxiety attack if I dont block it out.
The reason for the phobia is my grandpa dying in front of me when I was 7.
His heart stopped 3 times, but my dad brought him back.
The doctors messed up and he died.
I never got to say goodbye.
Lost to the gosh darn stairs of the dance building.
If only he told me how he felt before that day.
I also knew that it would happen that day, I always know when something is going to happen.
I expected geography homework, I got it.
I wanted more cardboard, I found some.
I knew my friend would fall on his face approximately 10 seconds before the fall. Is that normal?
I was laughing for a good 5 minutes over his fall in the hallway though.

I had an anxiety attack last night because I have a symptom of anxiety called brain zaps and I had no idea what they were from and it got to the point that I needed answers because me and mum had no idea what it was. so I typed up on safari and then looked at the first one and got so scared because of all the bad things that can happen to your brain (this wasnt accurate to my symptoms so it clearly wasnt what it was but I thought it was) then I had a huge anxiety attack and woke up mum and told her but then she thought maybe it is an anxiety symptom and sure enough! It is and I was so relieved that it wasnt anything serious! But if you ever have a weird symptom type up if its anxiety you never know! Lol hope whoever reads this has a nice day/night

I have had crazy feelings like, this isn't really my life, I'm just going through motions. It's a very weird feeling. like I'll be doing something, and space out for a couple seconds? Awhile and just stand there; the actions don't feel like my own, although i see myself doing them. I'll try my best to not show emotion, I feel like a robot. When I do get upset, about something, I'm told that's not really how you feel, stop being over sensitive. So feel like I need to bottle up and hide all emotions.

I do experience anxiety attacks and it's terrible. And sometimes it's difficult to search for the source of it. I do experience tingling on my skin occasionally, and I do get irritated easily sometimes. I also experience gastrointestinal disruptions, and it's a common symptom for me. I think the worst part of anxiety attack is that you are experiencing the attack but you cannot let it out in front of people who will judge you, because that's how I experience it frequently with my family.

I sometimes mistake my anxiety for exhaustion (I also have depression, so I go lie in bed, curled up into a ball. But then I'd feel too restless or suffocated to sleep and that's when I realise it's probably an anxiety or panic attack.
Most people sweat, but I'd feel numb and cold instead. The decisive factor is my pulse; it'd be beating much faster than normal. Nowadays, I use a pulse meter or my grandmother's BP machine to confirm it so that I don't hastily take an anxiety pill.

I am so thankful for this video, really, the timing couldn't be perfect. I suffered from anxiety for years and years and it's slowly coming back even after some years spent doing therapy. some things I experience are physical illnesses such as strong, strong headaches, muscle aches, stomach problems, shorteness of breath. This has been worrying me for quite some time because I haven't been able to feel better for quite some time snd my anxiety develops around that too. So thank you

Thanks for saying what you guys said at the beginning. Anxiety is being anxious and scared constantly about things that are in the future or past, not just the present. Its being so uncontrollably afraid that it harms you not just mentally, but physically too. I think that a lot of people self diagnose with anxiety just because they SOMETIMES feel anxious. I think a lot of people dont realize what anxiety actually is. Thank you, for this video to explain better what anxiety actually is!

People are having anxiety for years. I just needed 2 days, slowly building up anxiety attack and then I had to relax for 2 hour, just lay down on grass and enjoy the sun.
Just because a girl didn't feel like answering to me showing my emotions.
I'd compare this pain to cutting lemons and then accidentally cutting of your fingertip, just a small tip. It just won't stop.
Talking to others helps a lot but I think I'll need therapy anyways. :D

I have a severe allergy to Shellfish. A couple years ago, I had a severe allergic reaction and ever since, my anxiety symptoms have been very similar to anaphylactic reaction symptoms. whenever i get anxiety attacks, i get nauseous, dizzy, my throat tingles, and I feel like i can't breathe. I've been trying to recognize the differences and praying and reminding myself that I'm ok. If anyone else struggles with anxiety, you are not alone

Been dealing with anxiety for over a year now, and experience a good variety of physical symptoms. Has anyone ever experienced that your emotions shuts off? Its hard to describe but sometimes i experience that i become a little dizzy and unfocused and then i cant really feel emotions anymore untill that unfocused feeling stops. Ive been wondering if thats derealization or depersonalization but im not sure. Does anybody know?

Ive always been a slightly anxious person who overthinks and worries about everything but ever since I had a really bad panic attack almost 2 months ago I have not been the same. My anxiety is through the roof now, theres not a day that goes by that I dont think that Im dying of an illness and its making me so sad. I cant even find joy in the things I used to and I have no idea what to do.

i've had many anxiety attacks in the past and i used to confuse them for panic attacks until i had an actual panic attack earlier this year honestly i'd rather it be an anxiety attack bc i know i'll be fine in an hour or 2 but it took me the whole day to recover after the panic attack they really are very different

i am 16 years old and have been on medication for my anxiety for a couple months now however before i went on meds, i used to always feel nauseous every day from my anxiety to the point where it took over my life. its so crazy how many people are unaware that anxiety can have such a great physical toll

Hi- I do like your videos and information on psychological issues. I think they will help many people. I am in Australia and a Clinical Psychologist (founder of Mind Life Flow. Anxiety is an issue many clients present with in private practice - what do people find most helpful to manage their anxiety?

It feels like I experience derealization and depersonalization every once and a while and I zone out, but I feel like that's just normal. I don't know why. I guess I just zone out and it feels like I'm not there. like there's nothing. And then, any amount of time could've passed, and I'm back.

Thank you a lot, a few days ago I felt like my hand wasnt part of my body, it felt like it wasnt me who was controlling my hand movements and I felt really nervous, now that I know what was that I feel more relaxed
Edit: The tickles also happened to me also my hand and feet slept

I have extreme anxiety, to the point of total derealization that mimicked schizophrenia. I find mindfulness is my best friend, especially the therapeutic mindfulness of playing instruments. Playing shows is the only time when im supposed to anxious and i never am. Life is strange

Lately i experienced derealisation. it ussually happens to me when I'm feeling sick. It feels like i was seeing myself. i don't know how to explain it. it felt like i was detached from reality. like i was in a unknown place. even if i was in my bed.
