Every day I go to a school
That likes to help with learnin'
One two threes, they're the keys
Basic math, very easy
To Baldi's world of fun
Where no one leaves 'til educated
Every door is locked up tight
Stay inside, 'til we're graded
The students try their best to
Better their education
Comprehend the material
Study hard, relay every detail
Nobody wants detention
We only want attention
Even when life is tough
Oddly quarters are enough
This is how we live our lives searchin'
For the answers inside of every page
And I'm here wonderin' if one day
We'll finally be free from this cage
Is it okay to have a feelin'
That maybe there is more to this game?
However now, no time to question
So just behave
Walking across the hallways
Finding notebooks so we matter
Follow every single rule
Or he'll take out his wooden ruler
For he is listenin' and
Watchin' everyone's progression
All mistakes have consequences
So, answer right with every question
Try to add up excuses
Nothing will make a difference
Baldi knows every door that we open
Followin' from behind, we can hear him
There is no place for playtime
Avoid them all from every side
Better to leave him be
Follow his philosophy
This is how we live our lives searchin'
For the answers inside of every page
And I'm here wonderin' if one day
We'll finally be free from this cage?
Is it okay to have a feelin'
That maybe there is more to this game?
However now, just keep behaving
Sweep through the halls
To escape will have some sacrifices
No room for jealousy
I've got no time to play hide and seek
'Cause eventually he'll surely find me
Have to be brave or better keep behavin'
Count 'til I don't know what counts
Every inch of fear is all that's ingrained
Can't understand, what's the solution?
The problem is the mess in my brain
I'm pushed around with all the pressure
To be here when I don't wanna stay
There's gotta be some sort of exit
To get away

One thing I noticed that's missing here well that I would put on here would be the fact that we are in year three of a pandemic that changed all of us and not saying that it made us lazy but it definitely made life different someone asked me where do you see yourself in 5 years and before I would be like oh maybe I'll be doing this or I'll be doing this and now I don't know if I'll even be alive in 5 years because of my comorbidities of if I get sick I will die so does that make us lazy or does that make us changed I don't know what the answer is but I know that we are no longer the same as far as being human beings go anymore dreams have changed priorities have changed and yes it's getting better and yes we are getting back to some sort of normal life in so many ways but yet another's we are still according to this lazy but I don't think so I think when you're in survival mode it's different just a thought

I got the job of my dreams recently, quadrupled my income and basically got to do what I've always wanted to, but I didn't feel happier. In fact, I somehow managed to feel even more depressed in the moment. I realized I needed to look inward and start seriously working on my mental health or I could lose my dream job. 2: 12 basically sums up what I was going through. Negative thought patterns can completely cripple your life without you even realizing it.

Many times when I was little I felt so lazy! Mainly for housework. I did chores but my mom compared me to my sister. like your sister (eg she sweeps better than you) or you're not doing it right. That's how this whole thing was depressing me. And I felt incapable and just plain useless. But along the way all this stopped and I got used to doing nothing and just lying down eating and sleeping, to be bored and play video games! Bad times: /

I was pretty much decent with the first two. - I like a challenge every now and then, and even if I play into the attention economy I also double it as scouting for inspiration. I kinda lack on self-care due to living a self-deprecative life. Negative thought patterns, also yes due to my literally over a decade-old undiagnosed depression. But what really slapped me the most?
The last one. Thanks, also-undiagnosed ADHD.

I wanted to work out for a while but I never had motivation what helped me was that one day I just did as many push ups as i could until I couldn't stand anymore (probably shouldn't do that though. It actually got me started, sure my muscles were sore for a few days but it was definetly worth it. The point being, don't wait for motivation to kick in, start yourself and it will follow along.

Actually I wanna start living on my own instead in my dad's house. My family is a little toxic, and it's a lil distracting here, I gotta move but I am a minor and not sure my parents will agree. This is my reason to laziness, my parents are perfectionists so I never wanna start doing smth on my own in fear messing things up

I don't think laziness is always something that just randomly happens. but it is rather a part of our natural primitive being, and valuing yourself along with effective deeds can definitely put yourself in a more capable direction even if not everything happening around you is totally perfect.

I somehow have to work on all of them but I know that the one that I need to work on the most is my negative talk. I've worked the hardest to overcome it but I haven't made progress. Is their any ways to help me out here, I'm stuck at the bottom and don't know how to go up. Everything drags me down

I find it quite frustrating that poor planning/prioritizing/organizing is given as a reason without any cues on what the underlying problems might be. This is like telling that feeling too little emotions is a reason for depression. Technically not incorrect, but hardly helpful.

All of these habits are what holding me back from being productive. Because I get easily distracted by other stuff outside of school. My room is way too comfortable. I dont use my time wisely and Im not very good with planning. I need to change all of this as soon as I can.

Is this related to being too scared to apply to other jobs, because I don't want to waste all my years of education and experience, even though I realized that I truly don't like this field all that much, but too lazy to actually do something about it? Wrong video?

For me because of my carefree life, i never have a schedule or plan to go throughout the day, just keep on doing what is available or obligated to do/submit i never have a sense of prioritizing since if there's none then there is nothing to do.

Take the Einstein example with a grain of salt. He could take time to do those things because he had a wife to keep the house clean, cook all his meals, do all the laundry, etc. many of us dont have that luxury and have to do it all ourselves.

I really don't like the word lazy. Not only does it devalue the effort someone puts into things and overall attacks their character, but it also enforces the toxic belief that Your worth is how productive you can be

Something that helped a ton was, get this, a cold shower in the morning. It gets the blood pumping in the morning and makes it impossible for me to crawl back into bed to laze away and doze off

Always, I am lazy. Though humans are lazy by nature. Most of us need a reason to run, and some of us have trouble finding clear motivation behind those reasons. Lol

Hmm I am interested in psychology of struggle, why struggle is needed to have sense of purpose? It isn't limited to humanity so I wonder if there are studies on this
