I felt like my brain completely shut down yesterday. I could imagine anything story wise that I usually like doing and the people in my head are still not back yet. The people are good and have helped me in various ways. But after yesterday the most I can think about is one step. After that then I can try and focus on the next but it hurts my head sometimes recently. I kept going in and out of panicking, balling my eyes out, and calming down over a span of 30 minutes. Because of the stress and the fact I didn't know how to feel cause everything was so mixed up I almost blacked out which is my biggest fear cause last time i blacked out I ended up on a greyhound bus and I didn't know where it was going at all

Literally had to see a doctor because I was constantly trying to push pass burnout and i work 11 hour shifts at a vet hospital 3 times a week plus a 5 hour shift once a week. And i can t just not show up or keep calling out sick. So i try to just push through and wait for my days off. Well i ended up getting sick with extreme dizziness and migraines. Turns out I was making myself sick from stress and over doing it. So my doctor gave me a note to take a few days off and it helped ALOT. But i mean its going to happen again eventually. And idk what to do i cant get a doctor note all the time to take off work. Its not fair to my coworkers or the animals at the hospital. UGH

I m 57 yrs old and FINALLY officially diagnosed with ADHD 5 yrs ago. Adderal helps some but being female, menopausal and ADHD holy crap some times the mood swings and depression feels too much to take any longer. Not to mention a husband who even after 30 yrs has very little patience for what I go through. Some days it s all I can do to get out of bed 30mins before he gets home and pretend it s been a good day! Glad there s a name for what I experience just wish there was a cure too!

I have ADD and have experienced everything you spoke of. It's debilitating and affects my self esteem. I have been tackling home projects by focusing on one simple thing for a limited time, allowing breaks. Yard projects, finishing one thing before starting another, even if it takes weeks or months depending on weather. It is helping. Still working on finding a good fit for employment. Easily overwhelmed by too much stimulation and too many people.

I have what call fugue. Let me explain, fugue happens to me when my boss put me charge of something. I trained for this position. Yet when he said I was in charge I forgot everything I learned. When, I was participating in theatre the director of one play gave me the position of assistant stage manager. Same thing I forgot everything I learned. I don't know what causes this to occur. Can you help me?

I get called lazy all the time, and i am always burned out. My family just sums it up me being lazy and when i try to talk about or try to mention about adhd i get shut off. I really want to get diagnosed in the upcoming year.
So i can be certain if i have it or no. But i am certain i have it all these years. I tried to improve myself and sometimes i say i am lazy but i know it is most likely adhd.

First time I've had this kind of burnout, but many of these issues were still present well before this. Mostly happened when I was more depressed than ever, but now I dont feel depressed right now, I'm just. tired. Its really getting in the way of my plans to improve myself as a person and do all of the projects I meant to start. Hell, some of 'em I meant to start years ago

Hey, random question not related to the video. Is it normal to be depressed some days and not other days? Like i can go days feeling horrible, then other days just feeling kinda numb or normal? I dont know if i can trust my feelings half the time. I dont know if its just in my head and im being dramatic or what. Is that relatable to anyone here?

Dude the combo of ADHD Burnout and Depression seriously isn't fun. My family don't seem to understand that I'm not being lazy and or selfish I literally don't have motivation to do anything its why my bedroom looks like a bombsite and why the dishes constantly need washing. I just wish they would understand

This is so relatable, especially in my experiences. I have ADD and depression, and when I don't do certain things correctly or forget what I'm supposed to do or certain memories, i go REALLY hard on myself, and it's just so exhausting. I also forget things sometimes when my brain forgets fundamental things.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in my early 20s. Now 38(m) During the day I have so many ideas of wanting to do things but coz of the overwhelming decisions it wears me out and I end up sleeping during the day. I too struggle with productivity.

Trying not to quit my job right now as a overworked manager of a theater with ADHD. I don't do anything at home or anywhere because work takes all my processing power. Burnout is so real and its exhausting.

The third one, the fog.
It's actually surreal hearing that described by someone else.
After all these years of dealing with that, I almost started to feel like I was gaslighting myself or something.
