Psychology is more than just a subject to learn. It's a mirror that talks to you and gives you insight about yourself. Then, you can use that mirror to shine it unto others. Some might not want to see it and there are others who do. Psychology in my high school helped me to become a more understanding and caring person than what I was before. I've graduated but I will never forget the lessons I got along the way. I hope I can help someone along the way with this message.

During my life, I was extremely curious about many things.
I wanted to know what is my world hiding, what else could I learn about life.
Now in my teenage years, I've been pretty overwhelmed of my problems and responsibilities (which is, to be honest, pretty immature. I always thought about them, like 'What can I do to improve my mental well-being'.
This is what led to the interest of studying psychology. Already took the first step just by thinking of studying it.

I'd like to study psychology to build better relationships and also be able to help and understand my future children in the best way possible. Would implementing going to a psychologist since a young age be a good idea I feel like introducing small children to a new psychologist as a friend they can tell everything to when they don't trust others, even their parents, could really help in the long run if they begin developing mental illnesses.

You know, because of you Psych2Go I’ve been studying psychology with your videos for 4 years and also others and has seen things and patterns form out, as well as tried out strategies from your videos. And finally! Since February this year 2024 I’ve been so happy! I feel like those 16 years of depression is over. At least my will to live is thriving! I’m so ready to take my life back you know

I’m already choosing psychology for my major or minor (not sure which yet. So if anyone ask why I want to do psychology I’ll say: people are complicated and I wanna know why lol. That’s the short answer at least: P plus I’m really good with people and understanding their motivations behind their behavior. People always telling me I should become a therapist

It gives you a way of improving yourself. When you're able to realize and acknowledge that something is wrong, that is already the first step in fixing it. When you look into yourself you start to become enough self aware to realize that you have flaws, yet also not let that falter your spirit and be able to keep going.

I used to study psychology in my 1st year, during the pandemic. I sadly shifted to Mass Communication due to my dream suddenly changing from wanting to become a psychologist to a writer. I really regret shifting.
However, I plan on taking psychology again in the futureeither another Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree

Reason for NOT taking psychology: The majority of Psych research was not replicable -- a polite way of saying that it was bogus. Sociologists have proper experimental set-ups and sample sizes more often - psych doesn't. Milgram, Kahneman & Tversky, are better researchers, with more reliable insights, than Freud.

I have autism, sometimes I struggle to think about other people. I think this is because my brain is trying to protect me but instead of protecting me, it ends up hurting me and others. But I also sometimes have too much empathy for others even when I want to not care.

Already did and stop doing psychology for a major I only did it because starting it only had one arithmetic class.
But psychology in the USA is super biased and even neglected to abused especially with nursing/psych wards. Disgustingly terrible in the USA.

I have no interest in psychology cause I never went to school, college or even had a single job all my life. I mean, what's the point of studying this whole psychology stuff if you're never reach your own dreams

I want to major in Children's Research Psychology. It's a very personal topic to me and I want nothing more than to help kids understand themselves, and for the world to understand these kids.
