If you’ve ever felt like a burden to the people around you, this video is for you. When you're dealing with depression, opening up can feel terrifying. The hardest part isn't always the pain itself. It's the constant exhaustion of pretending you're fine so you don't bring anyone else down. But the truth is, the people who feel most like a burden are usually the ones carrying everything entirely alone. This video explores the heavy cycle of silent struggle, what happens when the weight finally spills over, and how finding tiny moments of connection can change everything. You were never meant to carry it all by yourself. If you’re struggling right now, what is one small thing you can let go of today Comment below! --- RESOURCES & SUPPORT (If you need someone to talk to): US & Canada: Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7. Welp, this video cuts deep, but not that deep as it did with some other video. Writing it here to have more chance of visibility cause of the newer video. A few days ago, I was really sad for a few days, until I didn't hear what a girl said and she started ignoring me. I became too comfortable with her, enough for it to hurt. I walked away and started crying, it was outside in the start of a practice, and my coach came to me. I told him about how I feel, but not reasons, and I don't think I revealed much. No one knows this happened. I came back to the practice, and I kept trying not to cry while playing. I respect her now, we were both wrong, but I don't want to be friends with her anymore. In fact, crazy how I can't remember anything from the past 6 months, besides my summer vacation and that one moment. It makes me wanna cry even now for some reason. Why does it make me cry I don't feel anything, but I js had tears in my eyes.
Anyways, what I do now is that it probably relates to how I moved countries at 10, and no one helped me. I was friends with some people, but it was not the same as in my homecountry. I pushed people away, everyone. I don't trust anyone with my feelings anymore, not even my parents. my best friend who if we are best friends I should say something to her, but I just can't.
Then also I know 2 other things, I am confused about how I feel. I'm not sure if I'm depressed, but I'm not sure if I'm fine either. I'm not sure if I can feel, or if I feel nothing. I'm not sure if when I smile or laugh I am doing it cause I feel it, or just a reflex to survive and seem normal. Another thing is that nothing seems fun to me anymore, computer games, my friends online that I used to talk to everyday, reading, drawing, heck I even loved school. I don't care anymore. I don't know why. I love making stories in my head about characters, but lately I felt like wanting to do it, but thought it required too much energy and I wasn't in the right mindset to do it. I don't know why I feel this way, I have hints but I'm not sure if they are true.
And the funny part is, I don't even want to open up, I really like attention, so I'm probably gonna choose to suffer until someone notices, rather than doing anything to help myself. I do not want help. I want to continue being sad, and confused.
Anyways, this is getting way too long. I'll come back here whenever I will feel heavy emotions and thoughts again. If anyone out there sees this comment, thank you for reading all the way, and replying if you did. This is my alt account, so I probably won't reply to you for some time. Bye.

My mind has been all over the place and I’ve been having suicidal thoughts, but I can’t really commit suicide and I really hate. I couldn’t say anything sooner that I’ve been really battling up all of my emotions which is really bad. That’s what leads to suicide and that’s why the cases are on the rise but yet trying to juggle school and work is hard and then just living is hard because some people make your depression worse. People say you have to get out of your head but for me it’s really hard because I don’t really get to express myself a lot and so it’s a lot of bottled up emotions and it’s slowly starting to irritate me slowly like the things that I love to do is irritating the smallest things make me mad. Especially when you’re in like dark places and your voice is just won’t stop talking and it all gets to a point and I just feel like I’m gonna explode on the wrong person or do something I wasn’t trying to do. I’m tired of carrying pain that never seems to leave. Tired of feeling numb one moment and overwhelmed the next. Tired of fighting battles that nobody knows I’m fighting. I just want peace. I want a moment where I don’t feel so drained, so lost, so disconnected from everything around me. I want to feel like I’m more than just someone surviving day by day. Yet somewhere beneath all the exhaustion, pain, and hopelessness, there is still a small part of me that wants something better. A part of me that wants to heal, to feel connected again, to wake up and not immediately feel weighed down by the day ahead. A part of me that still hopes that one day I won’t just be surviving lifeI will be living it. Until then, I carry this pain quietly, hoping that someday the weight will become lighter and that the person I’ve been fighting so hard to hold on to will finally find their way back home. and it’s hard to live somedays Having depression at a young age feels like growing up too fast while still feeling completely lost. You learn how to hide exhaustion behind smiles, how to laugh when your mind feels heavy, and how to survive days that nobody realizes are draining you. While everyone else talks about their future with excitement, you’re just trying to make it through another night with your thoughts.

Hey everyone, thank you so much for all the kind words you left for our animator on our last video. It was genuinely heartwarming to see.
It also meant a lot to us that we could share more openly about the people behind these projects. Psych2Go has always been made possible by individual artists and creatives from around the world, each bringing a little bit of themselves into what you see. That’s also why you may notice the animation style changing from video to video. We do try to keep the voice consistent though, since we know many of you have grown attached to it over the years: )
Today’s animation was created by Patrick Lao from the Philippines, which also happens to be my birth country. From my own experiences there, I’ve always felt that Filipinos have such a strong sense of community, warmth, and connection.
Like many of you, the people behind Psych2Go have our own personal challenges that we don’t always talk about publicly. The past few months haven’t always been easy, but seeing the human side of this community again through your messages, encouragement, and kindness has honestly reignited some of our fire to keep creating.
And that brings us to today’s video.
This project was inspired partly by your comments about how difficult it can be to open up, and partly by people in our own lives who struggle to talk about what they’re going through. Sometimes we stay quiet because we’re afraid of becoming a burden, even when the people around us genuinely want to help. That’s something this video explores too.
So if you’re the friend who has a hard time opening up, we hope this reaches you. There are people who care about you, even if they don’t always know the right thing to say or how to help.
And maybe that’s something many of us share: carrying around words and feelings we don’t quite know how to express.
You don’t have to explain everything at once. Sometimes opening up can start with something as simple as, I’m having a hard time.
What’s something you wish was easier to talk about Let's talk about it. even if it's something small like how your day went.

I've watched this, and it's a great video. Probably the more relevant one to me.
I don't want to feel like I'm just here and saying things, but I guess I'm doing/did it anyway.
I've had a lot of times when I've had something like a temporary depression, every time I've felt guilty. One time when I was 15 or something like that or further back, I drew on a paper later that night. I wrote some mean and degrading things about me, and some related to not being good for the religion my family is a part of.
Hell born and I'm a waste of love, time, money and effort, especially when I'm struggling with 'inappropriate' photography, if you get what I mean. Another page that was maybe a year ago was filled with I hate it, meaning why I wouldn't follow electronic rules and times, then feel guilty when I was verbally acknowledged of it. Most recently, I was kind of doing both things at once, and my baby sister made a huge mess, and Mom's laptop got screwed up when she saw it and tried to fix it some. That night I told myself that I was the main reason that happened, and I shouldn't ever have electronics because they ruin mine and my family's lives in so many ways.
I don't take my thoughts during the temporary depression seriously though after it's over, and I don't really think these things strongly. I still have a hard time believing that it can apply to me for change, but I believe that change and good, better things can help me, I just don't seem to listen to myself, or my parents.
I also have ADHD, autism and social anxiety. I want to be helped and things, but I keep to myself lots of times. My parents are aware of these things, but in all this, I think I'm okay for now.

I have no idea if I ever had depression but at some point, I started distancing myself from others both emotionally and physically. I was afraid I might do say something wrong when my friend wasn't looking so well and was struggling mentally. Combined with the continuous negative events that happened throughout that time, I had closed off myself to protect myself from being hurt. I was afraid of hurting others unintentionally. The good thing is that I still had a friend that I was open to which is my best friend. However the loneliness from distancing myself from my other friends remained, which grew even more last month. I was also lacking intinacy, which made me feel even worse. But recently, I finally realized and found an answer to what I wanted deep downa deep connection with someone (like my friends) both emotionally and physically. Just last week, I started trying to do just that. Because my friends and I know each other for a very long time now, I didn't feel afraid of trying to be more playful with them again. I know what they think of me since they outright say it, that I'm a guy that can be trusted(the friends I've been talking about are female except for my best friend. I'm glad that I finally came to this realization and overcome my mindset of closing myself off from my friends. I do still have personal problems like urges but I could somewhat manage it. I hope those who are struggling with a similar situation as me, or even if it's not similar, eventually come to the point of realization that they shouldn't carry their burdens alone.

Haste is a powerful negative energy. When a person is anxious, their body tenses up, breathing becomes shorter, heart rate increases, and the brain loses control, leading to uncontrollable actions.
The essence of haste is an obsession with the outcome that outweighs your trust in the process. You want that answer so much that you can't focus on the path ahead. But some things can't be rushed. Seeds need time to sprout, wounds need time to heal, and even enlightenment takes time. You can't force it; you can only wait.
The law of the world is that the harder you try to reach something, the more likely it is to slip through your fingers. Instead, if you relax, do what needs to be done, and wait for what needs to be waited for, it will come on its own.
Try replacing haste with belief. Believe that as long as the direction is right, it's okay to be slow; believe that what's meant to come won't stop just because you don't rush it; believe that every moment of reflection you take now is building strength for a future breakthrough.
Remember: What truly makes you better is the ability to remain steadfast no matter what happens, to focus on the task at hand, to take care of your body and emotions, and to move forward steadily without being impatient or agitated.

(still a teen but I just wanna share and get help) I want to talk to them with full confidence but they just ignore, move away, and talk to others. I feel that everyday and it hurts, really hurts, it does effect my mind and just use my phone doom scrolling since no one talks to me, like im just a ghost, if I go away, they won't even care. They just talk to me when they are struggling at a question like I'm just a A. I. but a human brain running on it, yes I still do help them to make myself think that Maybe they'll notice me someday just to make myself happy. On the outside. When free time, everyone else goes to that one person and talk and laugh all day long while me at a corner, laying down, looking at the ceiling, and imagining them talking to me. And there's this one time that they will go up to the front and lesson about something nice, and you know what they choose to Answer the question Literally everyone except me, they've been chosen more than one. That's all. Any help (I will update this for updates)

Guys, I need help.
Recently, I've noticed that, whenever I feel sadness or even anger (bad emotions, I feel it for quite some minutes, sometimes 30 minutes, but then they pass easily and I move on, like nothing happened without noticing.
When I noticed that, I started WANTING to feel sadness hearing to vent playlists, trying to recall bad memories, etc. just to see I can feel that sadness for atleast some hours without forcing it, but I never couldn't, not even when something major happened. The most that I could get was almost 1 hour, and even after that, I still moved on.
Just writing this so I can get some answers, because I dunno if this is healthy or not, and I KNOW that other peoble don't feel that way, and I feel different and even DISTANT to other peoble because of it, but I can't feel sad about it for too long.
I know this is long, but if someone made this far, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

In my mid 30s, i thought it was normal to think about dying every day. Not causing my death, but just the reality that i will die and it can happen anytime. I would be up all night playing out scenarios of how my kids/family would carry on without me and what preparations to make so they could transition easier living without me. Then i started therapy, which lasted a year and my therapist told me it wasnt normal to think about death every day. he taught me to stop worrying after 10 seconds and only focus on doing things that make me feel happy. About 3 months of that mental shift and i stopped thinking about dying. Now im 41 and expecting a new baby after raising a 21 year old and 15 year old! I cant imagine focusing on death with a new life on the way. Its powerful how a change in mundset can shift our realities. Hope this helps someone.

Can anyone say that I'm okay I feel like my life is at a gun point with no support from anyone. Recently i get overwhelmed over a silly thought about being lonely. Never in my life have i ever experience love. My own insecurities are deeply rooted from my family and society in general. I was forbid from falling in love at a very young age thinking it's the sinnest thing I'll ever committed. I don't mean to sound desperate but my life hasn't shown any progression at all. Unemployed, no luck in love, friends never reach out to me because they all find me boring. Idk why life has been so cruel to me to the point i don't love myself anymore. I feel like an outcast. Everywhere i go i slouched myself to feel invincible. God i wiwh someone. at least someone to notice my over all existence.

I've been in survival mode all my life. basically. I don't know what a regular mode is
And yes, it would help sharing the burdens but every time I try, I get shut down or I'm misunderstood, so I gave up trying. I can be there for others but the truth is, that I simply have no one. And being shut down every single time I do try, hurts even more. So I'm better off handling it on my own as I have all my life. It's my burden to carry and I know God will help me through everything as he has until now.
Do I wish it was different and I could share it Absolutely yes but maybe it's time to accept that for now that won't be the case. Maybe and hopefully one day I will have my own family and home but until then. I'm just a supporting character to everyone who needs one

As being someone with autism being depressed etc stinks because while wanting to speak with people or just wanting to make friends or even things like wanting to find love etc is extremely hard because it's not like we don't wanna do it it's just that being treated Special for so long makes you start to feel afraid to interact with people because you think idk what to say and don't wanna ruin the mood etc I guess I'm trying to say we want to be and feel normal but because of circumstances outside our control including emotional to we don't know how to go about things correctly and etc. Srry if this sounds depressing but this video idk why but. it just felt like it made it hurt not as much by saying this here even if it's not exactly the best option.

Depression gotten alot on me to the point that I do sh every now then since April. April started when I felt mentally and emotionally exhausted, lied in bed all day, can't even imagine how to live anymore except the fact only Social media is holding me back, the loop of being isolated with only two judgemental strict, Muslim iraqi parents in a small mere home And the loop of going back and forward to my tutors house and to my home. And school is in a month, I'm scared to ask my school counselor for help the fact that I realized in may. That my depression was a long LONG time ago. I can't speak openly because of my parent's judgemental comments, and the constant pressure of school and study work.

The problem is when you do finally ask for help, you look around all over for the help, but it never arrives. That's when things go from bad to worse. Then when that happens over and over and over again, sometimes with the added benefit of someone telling you that you're a bummer to be around, or you being them down, or you whine too much. Eventually you stop trying, you just go numb. You put one foot in front of the other and march, waiting for the day to finally come that you no longer have to wake up, you no longer have to be in pain. Not bringing it on yourself, just hoping for the day to come on its own, so you can just not have to put another foot down in front of the other.

I don't know if i should open up here, but i guess this video is a start.
My mom wants me to be flawless, making me attend gatherings, music orchestras, etc. But it's really tiring. Not that im really introverted, it's just wasting my time and i can't do anything i want even if i had free time. Everytime i mess up or think. Thoughts, feels like im a burden to my family and myself. I don't know how to stop myself from crying but i don't know anymore, maybe i just need self-love, because i fear i loathe myself.
(Edit: i tried to make this text a bit more smaller since my situation is more complicated than i can type. English is my second language so its kinda broken text)

Yesterday I went to a party I was invited and I went through everything this video is talking about. Not being able to talk to others, not wanting to bother other people with my problems, wanting to leave others to their fun without intruding, being told that people who share their troubles are bad. These last few weeks I have been trying to be more honest with myself in front of others but it has never worked out. The solution this video gives about letting someone else carry one thing with those you trust might work in some cultures but not all and not for all people, but who knows maybe this is just another thing I am wrong about.

What if you don't have the words to tell someone Like you just can't let it go, no matter what You can't speak and you can't think. And you don't know how to combat that. It feels like sometimes I think and think, come up with the best response or the best situation to get help, but when it comes time, I just bottle it up more and more and that fear and anxiety gets bottled up to. I'm not at my breaking point yet. But it hurts. It really hurts. I know I can survive and I know I have to. But it hurts. A lot. I don't know if I even want to continue. Idk if I can love anymore. Idk if I can even be human anymore. I need someone.

I didn’t realize at first that this is what I was going through but, I’m lucky enough to have friends and family that check in on me, when I was spiraling out of control, I got a call the gates opened and I apologized after dumping all that on them, but they were just happy I was doing better than I was before they called. Later other people checked in because I got quiet because I couldn’t keep up the facade I was showing them. They told me that just as I would listen to their problems they could listen to mine, I still don’t want to bother them but, I know I ca talk to them if needed and I appreciate them for that.
