What Does the French Flag Mean? Fun fact: the Dutch actually used another flag during the period in which the French flag was created. And when the Netherlands were invaded by Napoleon, the occupied territory adopted a flag that looked like that old flag (the Statenvlag) just because it ressembled the French flag (the same colors. Really, Im not making this up.
So in way, even if the Dutch flag is older and everything (no question, ironically they were still inspired to choose that one because of the French flag lol.

After everything the French have done to Europe, everything, (example) from the Napoleonic era to 1919. What the armies of Napoleon did to the innocent. France, in 1870 declares war to deny the German people a unification, then France declares war again 1914, then again 1939. What they did in Rheinland 1923. Karma has its own laws.
We humbled France.

Lol When I read the comment section, I tell myself that giving the Yankees a hand for their independence was the worst mistake on a long term.
This would have left the field open to the Brits more quickly, but too bad.

-It's that the tricolor has toured the world with the Republic and the Empire, with your freedoms and your glories, and the red flag has only toured the Champ-de-Mars, dragged in the blood of the people. -, wow

The French tricolor flag you have used during all the whole video is plain wrong. Those washed blue and red were adopted in 1974. In 2021 the original navy blue and darker red were finally restored, by the way.

would have been a suitable documentary for our pupils if vulgar language had been omitted!
You Americans still have a chapter to learn on finesse.

Lol, i already know. Blue is for oceans that France was never been able to secure, red is for Algerian's blood and white is for. Surrender -- /s

The white part actually means that the french give up often so they put white so that it will represent a white flag (I'm saying it ironcly)

Is it strange that his voice is a lot more energetic in this video and gets more monotone after the first few videos?

The flags at 0: 13 look like (from top to bottom) Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ireland, unknown & Mali.
