It is a Chinese consuls 1920 letter of appreciation for the rescue of Chinese 31 fishermen washed ashore in the Senkaku Islands, it was addressed to the officials of Yaeyama District, Okinawa Prefecture, Empire of Japan.
In other words, --pre communist China in 1920 agreed that the Senkaku Islands belonged to Japan-. keeping in mind that there were already 200 Japanese fishermen and their families living on the island long before the Sino-Japanese War.
The Chinese communists arrived at a later date, lied, twisted and tortured the truth, faked their history in order to cheat and steal the islands from Japan.
The islands were an easy heist, once Chinas history was faked, they were able to fake their maritime boundaries followed by their fake islands. This then gave them a fake exclusive economic zone around those fake islands which in turn gave them fake oil, gas, mineral and fish rights, In other words, one lie built on top of another, on top of another, in some ways quite similar to a giant Ponzi scheme with no substance what-so-ever.

I mean I'm only 5 minutes into the video. But I kind of think that Japan is telling the truth because to me. It seems like they kind of used it as a landing beach for forward operations into China for that war so I believe that they found them during the middle of the war and was like. Oh, Hey, let's take these things and use them. That helped us in the war with China. So I mean, they got the islands because of the war. So whether or not they're considered a war time. Conquest is up to the International community.

Please check Potsdam declaration Japan must return all the stolen territory since 1914 to China including Manchuria ( province of north east China), Formosa (Taiwan, Pengyu (an island 20km from Taiwan.
Please check Cairo declaration Japan territory only 4 major island. minor island ownership must agreeable by America England China.
This 2 declaration is signed by America England China and Japan is the fundamental of world order after ww2.
Legislatively Japan have no right to those island.

The assertion at around 15: 00 that if the US set up a naval base in the islands, it would allow them to interdict oil shipments to China is factually correct, but unnecessarily risky. A base there would be dangerously close to the mainland, within weapons range. If the US wanted to interdict energy shipments, the current base at Diego Garcia would serve the same purpose, while being sufficiently distant from China to be relatively safe from retaliation.

Japan, give these non-functional islands to the the US Navy and USAF to build military base and station on these island to become gateways into the Pacific Ocean. China (& Chinese women) needs American -swinging pipes- just a few miles off the mainland coast, my opinion.
Lastly, I like American Chinese people, they-re: great people, beautiful culture, hard working people, great foods and smart people, but that-s my opinion.

Our allies, Japan and South Korea are going to be the leaders South Korea it's going to. Be the leader of Asia and Japan is going to be the leader of the Pacific. If Joe Biden wasn't such a p----, we would have already made that clear to China stop bullying Asian countries, especially our friends.

Secondly, we will not participate in the war since we can only go into the war just to claim island. We should be sided with American, it just doesn-t make sense to fire any missile onto American ships. Thirdly, if Japan win the war, we get a free upgrade to sovereign nation.

To whoever narrated this: please quit putting so much verbal emphasis on every other word. It's like typing in all caps; it's not necessary. A little verbal emphasis sprinkled throughout the story has a much better effect than continuously belaboring (i. e) EVERY word to it's MOST EXTREME emphasis, it is SO HARD to LISTEN to for long. The US had no right to give the islands to Japan over the objections of China and Taiwan. But it wanted it as part of the first island chain to block China's free access to the Pacific. In fact Taiwan has more rightful claim to those islands since its fishers have traditionally fished in those waters for decades.

I saw two wrong information on this video.
1)Japan has no issue with Senkaku Island with China.
Unilaterally, China has been making the issue.
2) There were about 250 Japanese lived on the island between 1895 and 1940.
There was a Bonito flake factory on the island.

China wants to rob the islands because of oil.
They-ve never claimed the islands until an oil field was found.
As in Tibet, Bhutan, Uyghurs, Mongolia, Kashmir, Vietnam, and the islands in South China Sea, China is simply robbing the territories which belong to other nations.

They-ve done this to all of the islands in South China Sea too. Trying to take the entire region. Ram fishing boats in their own waters and international waters because they claim everything belongs to them. Japan and Philippines are doing an incredible job keeping our seas free. -

Nah. No way you can justify that Rock that Japanese is claiming to be an island so they can claim Diaoyu and neighbouring islands. It's barely the size of an adult bed and the Japanese had to enforce it with concete to prevent it from dissipating from waves.

I think china forgot that Japan almost took them over during World War Two until they attacked the United States and we saved them. But we know they never respected it because they helped North Korean stay in power back in the 50s

It seems to me all China can do is positioning and posturing. They are locked into this corner of the world, island states are safe, and in any case other than Taiwan nobody has Chinese ethnicity.
