This wealth inequality comparison is absurd. How much you make is mostly dependent on which country you live in. Net worth and the amount of money someone has to spend are completely different things, not even close to how money actually works. Living standards for everyone are increasing, the living standard gap is shrinking every passing year. I lived at the poverty line in the USA and had a rental apartment, food, cloths, car, and amenities. That could not have been said 100 years ago. Everything is getting better, not worse. If a video is designed to make you upset, it is likely using manipulation.

Unfortunately this is just a bunch of numbers thrown around. Averages that aren't comparable are being compared (world inequality compared to specific countries inequality. The billionaires total net worth is subject to a threshold effect which makes it close to meaningless.
I would love to see a statistician compute and explain these numbers, then compare them to other things in nature because there is definitely an interesting story to be told imo.

I-ll never forget when I visited L. A. on vacation I saw multiple Ferraris and Lamborghinis drive past dozens of homeless people living in tents shooting up heroin on the sidewalks- It was probably the most disgusting example of wealth inequality I-ve ever seen in real life. I just will never understand people who think that taxing the rich and using that money to help the poorest people in society.

Invest a meaningful amount of your respectable developed country income like 30%+, and you too can join us in the global 1% (aspiring US 1%) in little more than a decade or two thanks to how few people actually do this. See you soon!
Side note: thank you for not discussing income in a video about wealth inequality. Puts your outfit in a minority that know what these terms mean unfortunately.

This is not surprising at all. Most people can't stack money due to their impulses and lack of discipline. Money stays and grows with people who know how to keep it. Even if we distributed all world's money equally on every person after some time that money will stil find way back to that top 1% of people who know how to make and save money.

I'll never understand people wanting more money then they could ever spend across 10 life times. There is no logic to it.
The life of a super rich person makes no sense, a house with 20 bathrooms, a garage with 50 cars. etc. You can only shit in one toilet at a time, how many asses you have?

Wait so you're telling me that in 2019 Elon Musk wasn't even in the top 10, but became number one as early as in 2021? Jeez that guy knows what he's doing doesn't he? I mean that's insane that in less than 2 years he sky rocketed (lol, get it? sky ROCKETED) to number one.

Comparing wealth to GDP: apples to oranges. -Struggling with inequality- - that-s a mental disorder called -envy. - Consider looking at incomes over time-look at the number of people earning $2/day now vs. 100 years ago vs. 250 years ago vs. the 20, 000 years before that.

Fact the ratio between the avg american wage earner and the top 1% in 1912 was 12-1 in 1973 it was 213-1 on 2017 it was 514-1, 2019 720-1 1 So 2017 avg us inco. e qas approx 50k. 514- 1 then computes to $27, 540, 000/ year. Feel free to do the math on the rest.

The rich wants us to have lots of children because they want a continuous supply of slaves. Looking at the suffering of kids now, im so glad i made the right decision not to have kids! We are all just expendable slaves!

If everyone in this planet has been responsible, we won't have suffering. If everyone who knew that they can't afford to have kids and can not give a good future didn't have kids, we won't be in this situation now.

I wonder how things have changed after the pandemic. In America I'm middle class, but in the top 10% globally. That's crazy and still unbelievable to me, but it makes me more grateful for being an American.

Billionaires shouldn't exist. There's should be a limit on receivable income. All income over a threshold cap should be totally confiscated for social and infrastructure programs.

You can't average in the less than 1% into a nations wealth. America is extremely poor because they have been robbed. You can't average in the thieves.

China in 2019 was reportedly 2000- 1. Any ideas as to why our global elites want to move to that type system. Kinda makes the agenda clear doesn't it.
