I think Shark Attacks are most likely a completely misrepresented number. The pro-shark promotion has probably exaggerated minimal chance of the attacks. What they aren't taking into account are the non-reported attacks. There are poachers in south africa who will swim in those oceans and they get attacked by sharks but won't report it. Also, I don't think that statistic is taking into account ONLY people who go in the oceans. I think the numbers are including the entire planet's human population and then taking into account only 'official' attacks.

All inaccurates in this vid at 1: 43 he said megalodon is closely related to the great white witch is wrong. Megalodon is in the otadontents not in the same Clade as the great white also megalodon will be more bulky and had a shorter snout and larger tail fin
And number 2 durrning the size comparison he shows a trex skeleton witch is in the upright kangaroo posture proven false in the 1970s and the hands are pronated on it

Wrong! Just because more vending machines killed humans than sharks did, does not mean its more likely that I would get killed by a vending machine. You forgot to take the fact into account how many people are having contact with a vending machine and how many encounter a shark.
But I get it. It sounds amazing (while being wrong) and gets you clicks. This works, because most people are not very intelligent.

It amuses me that vending machines have a warning label that says -Don't rock or tilt this because it will fall on you and kill you. - And then another label that says -Rocking and tilting the vending machine will not dispense free product. - As if people who aren't convinced by the first label would be convinced by the second one.

I have a meg tooth & the thought of how bit its mouth must have been shocking & my meg tooth isn't even a full adult size 1. The tooth i have is 9 1/2 cm with the tip missing, i'm assuming approx 3cm. So if it had the tip it would be about 12cm.
The thought of a mouth full of those sized teeth coming at me is terrifying.

The thing about the vending machine stats is that we encounter vending machines far more often than we encounter sharks. I'd confidently say that almost all americans see a vending machine at least once a year, meanwhile not even a quarter of americans even see the ocean in person once a year

id bet big money that like half of those -unprovoked- attacks were indeed provoked, though the person may not have realized (eg showing up with a motorboat and being annoying where sharks were just hanging out in their home)

Not only England, but also Scandinavia and the Netherlands both are free from great white sharks, and were free from Megalodon in the past. Evidently, terrible food is a very good defensive line.

Actually the crocodile has the highest bite force of any animal on Earth. It's a myth White Shark has a strong bite force. I don't remember now the numbers but it's about the same as a lion or little more.

To me the great white is not the most menacing. It-s the bull shark. It eats practically anything and is almost as big. Tiger sharks are cute tho.
